I can't thank you all enough for all the kind words. It's been rough. My mom is still in the hospital but improving. Not sure when she'll be released but we are hopeful. The support from this community is really overwhelming. I appreciate you all so very much. I’m so glad she’s improving!

Oh gosh, I almost missed the assignment!
Are you happy with what you've done so far? If not, what's missing to make you feel better about your progress? Yep, I do very little prepping. I’m not a page protector person, so prepping things doesn’t really work. 2. Are you working on your project daily to keep up with the stories? Sort of. I have a little binder where I write for my ideas and sketch out the page. That is pretty much up to date. 3. Are you struggling with anything in particular? A hard day/week? If anything, I have too many stories to tell. Not sure everything will fit. 4. What's the favourite thing you've done for your DD (or alternative holiday memory project) so far? Husband and I bought coordinating Todd and Margo shirts. I found a printable quote from the movie. I’m excited for that layout. 5. What's your favourite story that has happened to you this month so far? 6. What is your favourite DD/JYC social media share so far? Spread the love and inspiration with all! Elizabeth Heinz stadium pocket page for the product play class. It’s simple and beautiful and colors are perfection.

I am still working on years past. I made the most adorable page. I didn't start doing DD until 2011 but wanted to include a memory in my 2011 book from 2010 (DD's preschool xmas concert). So I made a retro TV cut file to put inbetween the 2010 and 2011 stories of her concert and put "we interrupt this regularly scheduled 2011 December Daily Album to bring you a memory from 2010's Palm Valley Lutheran Preschool Christmas Concert." I love it. Fun way to bring in some memories from previous years. Sent the photos that I need to make the page to the photo printer Saturday, they are still not ready yet, but I am itching to finish that! That sounds like such a fun addition!

Almost forgot the reason I came here today. Does any one know or have a good guess as to the font used for the bah humbug, twinkle, merry, etc plastic pieces in the main kit? Or if something similar exists in a cut file? I have an idea for a page, would rather not spend $15 for the digital kit.

Hang in there, blemon. Sending healing vibes that your mom's health continues to improve. Hope now that she is improving that you can get some rest. I know that DD's usually document the "magic", but can you take a pic of you and your mom and put that in your journal? Maybe some pic's of the hospital entry way with the lights and decorations? Not the way anyone wants to go into the holidays, but years from now you may be interested in looking back at this. (((((HUGS)))) to you and your family.

It's here, it's here, it's here, Christmas week is here! 🤩✨ On this Monday, I wish you all a smooth start to the crazy ride that will lead many of us to Christmas Day on Sunday. Start your engines, ladies. December 19: IN NUMBERS // We've been counting down the days, we've made lists and checked them twice, we've spent within (or a little over 😁) our budget. We've been December mathematicians without even realising! Let's make the most of our numbers skills and turn them into a pretty page for our memory book. Story prompt: It's time for little accounting. Pick a theme or keep it wide open but use counting for your recounting today. You'd be surprised how much can be summed up through a number-centric spread. (document a mini Day in the Life numbers-style by keeping a succinct record of your day unfolding through time stamps, high and low temperatures, X cups of coffee, X miles/km driven, X stops on the way home, X podcast episodes listened to, X pages read, X presents wrapped, etc.) (document your household for this Christmas week: how many house guests? how many gifts under the tree? how much was the grocery bill with all these extra people? how many outings did you do with your guests? how many inches/cm of snow have fallen? etc.) (document a recap of your December so far: X holiday drinks at Starbucks, X Christmas movies watched, X ornaments hung on the tree, X restaurants visited, X amount spent on gifts, X cards received, etc.) Creative prompt: Bust out those stamp sets and digitals that include pie charts and flow charts. Put them to use to wrangle and tame all your numbers! Dive through your numeral stickers, chipboard sets, wood veneer and stamps: it's time to use them all and make a fun graphic statement. This is all about letting your wild creative side come out to play! Song of the day:

Or if something similar exists in a cut file? I have an idea for a page, would rather not spend $15 for the digital kit. Looks like the Bebas Neue Pro font family to me. All mixed up (lowercase + uppercase + different font sizes) and set wonky + overlapping (should be super easy to replicate in Canva). It's a recent extension on the classic Bebas Neue that includes lowercase (and italic). My mom is still in the hospital but improving. Not sure when she'll be released but we are hopeful. So glad to read she's improving, blemon. That's all that matters. I hope you're taking good care of yourself, too. 🤍 Hee hee, sleepingbooty, your cat meme this morning reminds me of our old cat when I was growing up. We had wood heat, only, and the last fire to die down was the "airtight" heater in my Dad's room. It was like a tin can on legs, with a space under it. In the morning we would often get a whiff of singed fur, because at night old Tom would curl up UNDER the heater, soaking up the residual warmth held in its ashes, and he didn't always move out quickly enough when my Dad built up the fire next morning! Aww, poor kitty! He was too comfy to get up in time... Hey, he had nine lives and he was willing to risk a few to keep his furry derrière toasty warm. I respect that! 😄 That's an adorable childhood memory, grammadee. And what a beautiful way to remember Tom. (Did he get his name from Tom & Jerry?) Thank you sleepingbooty and paget for the journaling card suggestions a few pages back. They were just what I needed to get some ideas flowing and I ended up going with a mix of your ideas. It’s simple but I love how it turned out and everyone has completed theirs! Yay! I’m thinking of maybe doing something similar for my niblings (nieces and nephews) this year that documents what they asked Santa for (my youngest nephew, a three year old, is asking for a vacuum from Santa which is just too precious NOT to include in my album somehow). That sounds so lovely, alleyscrap. I'm so glad it all worked out and everyone was happy to participate. 👍 And yes, you should absolutely make one for the niblings (gah, love this term). Kids love being considered their own person and having some input. I bet they'd love to be asked their opinion on some important (of course!) Christmas matters. Your nephew sounds adorable! You will have some adorable photos of him with his brand new vacuum from Santa. 😉 I haven’t done too many days but I like something about each one! I’m going to choose a treatment I gave the day 2 number. It was kind of a fugly color large wood number but I made it work with the page and embellished it with song lyrics and tied a music charm on it. That sounds so pretty, paget. 🫶 Starting a new tradition of buying an ornament for my dd who passed away - it came to me that it would be a fun way to include her in the season and my DD. I decided each year in December I will be on the look out when I’m out for an ornament that is “her” or reminds me of her in some way. I got a perfect one for the first year. I told my others dds about it and they loved it and one of them grabbed something for her as well. The other dd immediately came up with the same idea of the ornament I did get. ❤️ This is a very touching tradition. My heart felt a little squeeze reading this. Our loved ones who've passed haven't disappeared and I love that you've found a way of giving her space within the family, especially for Christmas when everyone is gathered. The new yearly ornament is a beautiful way of keeping her memory alive and bright. It must make you feel extra proud as a mother that your daughter's siblings have embraced this new tradition in her honour, too. 💖 When I started scrapbooking I had the idea that I was doing it for others. To record our family memories. I'm thinking this DD isn't something I particularly want to share. The only thing I'm struggling with is changing my mindset to it's OK to have a private project. We do so much for others, jeremysgirl. As women and as documenters. It's good to have a private garden to foster, too. It's nice to have something just for ourselves. The way we record just for ourselves is not the same as when there is an audience, even if said audience is only our family. Not only is it ok for you to make this DD your own private space, it's probably just the right therapy for you right now after the year you've had. In a way, it's ideal. You should embrace the path your heart wants to take and let it lead you there, with all the words and photos or pretty papers you wish to use. 😊 Thanks sleepingbooty for the "Tech Today" page, it will be fun to look back at the apps I'm currently using. Yay! Apps and tech are so quickly obsolent and forgotten. I'm happy this was a prompt you embraced! I took a picture of my wine glass with Christmas lights reflected in the red wine. I'll try to post that. Oooh, now that is an aesthetic I can get behind... Sounds dreamy and yummy. This sounds like a cool picture. The other night I left my tree on and went to the bathroom in the night and took this picture reflected in the window Very cool effect! I think we should totally leave space for some creative photography fun in our December albums and journals. I did a small page about Milo who we all still miss. Happy update: he was adopted! He can not live with another dog so they had to be more selective and we cried happy tears when we heard he was adopted. I'm sorry you're still missing Milo. Sounds like it was the right decision to make. As someone who helps care for foster dogs on the regular, it's better to assess the situation realistically early on rather than to cause extra stress and keep it lingering and lingering. It's not easy for pets, particularly pack animals like dogs. Congrats to Milo on the solo adoption and to you for making the right call despite the heartache. For the last 3 years I have been bah humbug. Between my DD no longer believing and being a preteen/teen and then the pandemic and now my illness, I am just not as into Christmas as I have been in the past and that is OK. These last few years will just be a more real lifeish and not quite so social media happy (LOL). I'm sorry the holidays have been rough for you lately. But real life is worth celebrating. We don't live magazine lives (unlike what is so often portrayed on social media as you said). Kudos to you for embracing reality and documenting it! I hope you're feeling well this December despite your illness. 🤍 I didn't start doing DD until 2011 but wanted to include a memory in my 2011 book from 2010 (DD's preschool xmas concert). So I made a retro TV cut file to put inbetween the 2010 and 2011 stories of her concert and put "we interrupt this regularly scheduled 2011 December Daily Album to bring you a memory from 2010's Palm Valley Lutheran Preschool Christmas Concert." I love it. Oh, that sounds super adorable! And yes, you made the right call letting your album have a little interlude moment for the previous year. 👍

Thinking of joblackford who must be either in the air or in Iceland already (if I'm remembering the timeline she posted correctly). Have loads of fun and find a fun Yule Cat to bring home. 😜 PS: Found this super cool illustration of the Yule Lads (and our favourite cat) on Icelandair!

Awwh thanks Booty. This reminds me of the time I flew Icelandair to get home for my dad's surgery. I still have one of their napkins featuring one of the yule lads. They really are a great airline and super good at flying in rough weather. I landed and took off in a snow storm.

1. Are you happy with what you've done so far? If not, what's missing to make you feel better about your progress? 2. Are you working on your project daily to keep up with the stories? Or are you doing batch processes? 3. Are you struggling with anything in particular? A hard day/week? Are you in need of alternative ways of looking at a difficult story or stretch of time this month? 4. What's the favourite thing you've done for your DD (or alternative holiday memory project) so far? 5. What's your favourite story that has happened to you this month so far? 6. What is your favourite DD/JYC social media share so far? Spread the love and inspiration with all! 1. Pretty happy with progress on my blurb book so far. 2. I'm doing a little bit most days, or at least writing something, knowing that I'll also be catching up after holiday travel. I've started saving the files to png and uploading them into my book at the end of each Photoshop session so I can see the overall feel of the book as it develops instead of getting confused by what I've done or not done yet. It might make for more work in the long run as I edit and have to re-save but being able to see the book take shape is very motivating. 3. Struggles? So many, all non-scrap related! I've been leaving out bits of the stories to see how they're going to pan out. I like to spin stories into something that gives them a silver lining if I can. 4. Favs? I found an adorable photo of my nibling when he was 4 holding the toy from the 2014 Hallmark movie I watched. That's going to be a fun contrast with his current 13 year old self. Still hoping that Iceland will be the big favorite but our flight just got canceled so that's a little up in the air right now. No winter solstice Blue Lagoon after all... It's a bummer (but also a bit of a relief because we are getting a huge dumping of snow tonight and I thought we might be delayed and miss our booking with no refund. This way we at least got our money back.) We're joking about whether we'll still go if the new flight only gives us one day there.

Thanks for the illustration sleepingbooty. I'm all about Spoonlicker for some reason. I was reading about they visit in turn leading up to Christmas and then leave one by one so the 13th leaves on Epiphany, iirc. We're talking in circles amongst ourselves trying to figure out what's going to happen with our trip, waiting to be told what the new plan is. I think we're ready for anything! They've had a ton of snow but fine weather is coming so it should be magical if it works out.

1. Are you happy with what you've done so far? If not, what's missing to make you feel better about your progress? Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about where I'm at. I've got a lot of pages with photos and cards stuck in them but no embellishing yet, and a couple that are nearly done, but I'm looking forward to the process of putting it together. 2. Are you working on your project daily to keep up with the stories? Or are you doing batch processes? I'm writing daily, or close to it, but am definitely not keeping up with the making side of it. That's ok, I've got time off between Christmas and New Year and can work on it then. 3. Are you struggling with anything in particular? Only a lack of Christmas related embellishments. I've realised this year how much I enjoy having something to pull from: 3x4 cards, die cut packs, or a sticker sheet. None of the collections really spoke to me this year, so I've got a couple of FJ die cut packs I picked up during one of her recent sales, but they don't typically have enough or the right mix of pieces for what I use. My actual Christmas stash is basically non-existent (I could fit it in a 4x6 photo case with plenty of space to spare) and I'm missing having those one or two themed elements I can use through my whole album. 4. What's the favourite thing you've done for your DD (or alternative holiday memory project) so far? I'm using some older papers from my stash, SR and OA, that are pinky red, and the colour is just making me so darn happy. 5. What's your favourite story that has happened to you this month so far? We had our first in person work Christmas party since 2019, and one of my good friends, who is based interstate, flew in for the party. I had such a good night, completely topped off by getting to catch up with him. 6. What is your favourite DD/JYC social media share so far? I've really been enjoying Ali's videos this year, and look forward to watching them every day.

Oh no joblackford ! I hope it all works out, whatever that looks like. TBH I'm really glad I'm warm at home and not dealing with this: http://instagram.com/p/CmZbloao_in I did just start watching A Storm for Christmas on Netflix, the Norwegian limited series about being trapped in an airport during a Christmas snow storm. It was a bit too on the nose yesterday but today I'm pretty relaxed, just waiting to hear what the airline comes up with for us and whether it will still be worth going. You don't book a trip to Iceland in winter without expecting some inconvenience.

1. Are you happy with what you've done so far? Are you working on your project daily to keep up with the stories? Or are you doing batch processes?I was good until the 10th! I blame the work party I had to go to lol. Everything from then on has been completely downhill. I need to come up with some sort of batch process for finishing next week. 3. Are you struggling with anything in particular? A hard day/week? Are you in need of alternative ways of looking at a difficult story or stretch of time this month?I got a case of the ughs toward the middle of the month that brought me down a few pegs. This past weekend I twisted my ankle walking to a craft fair (with all disney makers(!!) I was genuinely really sad and the tears I shed weren't from pain lol) then my mom started having flu symptoms last night so our house is a big ol' mess right now. 🙃 4. What's the favourite thing you've done for your DD (or alternative holiday memory project) so far?I like all the shaker bits I've gotten into. Sprinkles and glitter are messy but the end result is always really nice. 5. What's your favourite story that has happened to you this month so far?
Our new ornaments! One of my fav creators online made a small batch of "there's too much fuckin' shit on me!" acrylic ornaments (a joke from a sketch in s2 of I Think You Should Leave on Netflix) and I picked up one of her "I love stupid holiday romantic comedies" ones too. 6. What is your favourite DD/JYC social media share so far? Spread the love and inspiration with all! littlethingsbigdays on ig, she's also doing a 4x6 size and I've loved seeing her layouts when they're posted. For some cheer, here's my angry looking meow Kingsley 🤣 he looks STOKED.

What is your favourite DD/JYC social media share so far? Spread the love and inspiration with all! 1. I'm really happy with the pages I've completed so far. My previous DD's have been mostly in pocket pages, but this year most of them have been out of the pp's, and I've loved the freedom to design them however I want. 2. It's been a really busy month, so what I've tried to do is keep up with scrapping the events and leaving the filler pages for later. 3. My biggest struggle is that I am slower than molasses!! 4. I love my title shaker page. Also, I'm working in a 6x8 album, but am using the kit 10x8 pattern papers by making either a 3" fold-out or punching the 3" I've cut off and using them as part of a facing page. 5. My favorite story is our adult trip to Disneyland. There were four of us, and we didn't care about which rides we went on...we were there for the magical Christmas decorations and the parade. We purchased the photo package so we could have our pictures taken either as couples or with all four of us together. Best Disney photos ever, since the Disney photographers shoot in prime locations. I printed two of the digital 10x8 papers with all the wreaths, using one as a 10x8 (with 3" folded in) and the facing page cut to 6x8. This gave me 18 wreaths in which to add my photos, which I cut into 2" circles to fit into each wreath. On the 3" fold on the left-hand page, I added a title to the spread and a picture of the four of us in front of the Disneyland train station. 6. I've never shared my pages on social media. ETA: LOLOLOL I totally misunderstood this question but, now that I've read other's comments, I get it. My favorite new social media source of inspiration is Moments to Memories (YouTube) or momentstomemories.bytai (Instagram) . Her recent video using lots of leafy die cuts and mixed media to frame a photo of her daughter is just gorgeous (starts at approx 8:32).

I haven’t started my DD yet, I usually wait until after the 25th, to see what photos I have. I just keep a journal so it makes it much easier.

Wednesday already... Tick tock, everything's speeding up on the Christmas clock! I hope all the DD-ers are well and not having to run around too much as the final rundown to the big holiday weekend ramps up.
December 21st:
EPHEMERA-L // We pore over moments, and stories, and details all through this month. We dissect favourites, traditions, old and new, trinkets. But today, the star of our storytelling is all that disappears once our holidays end and a fresh new year begins. Let's celebrate the little bits of paper, text messages and other "recyclables". Story prompt: Take time to analyse how the tiniest things, barely noticed or quickly fogotten details, tell bigger tales. Think of how you can play with this December ephemera to give a different angle to the stories you wish to record. (document the tags on the new clothes you've purchased for your loved ones, be it snow clothes, Christmas PJs, the classic gift of socks - think of what these new clothes mean and don't forget to include the story of the Icelandic Yule Cat if you wish to adopt this tradition) (document the containers of your favourite December treats - Starbucks red cup, a pastry box from that bakery you love, the paper bag your seasonal bath bombs came in) (document the wrapping paper, the 2022 holiday tape Amazon put on your parcels, the notes and cards you received from businesses you patron) (document little post-it notes with final purchases to make, scribbles from your kids, text messages with practical questions about the holiday celebrations from your spouse or family, etc.) Creative prompt: Use your scrappy aesthetic brain to make these bits of paper come together in a pretty way. Cut them up, lay them down, weave them as strips together with pattern paper, make a fun mosaic. Song of the day:

They really are a great airline and super good at flying in rough weather. I landed and took off in a snow storm. Oh, I love that you still have that Yule lad napkin from that pretty memorable flight. I hope you'll document it someday. Especially with the rising popularity of these lads and the Icelandic Christmas traditions. You're on trend! Two snow storms, oof. That's not reassuring. Glad everything went well! I found an adorable photo of my nibling when he was 4 holding the toy from the 2014 Hallmark movie I watched. That's going to be a fun contrast with his current 13 year old self. Aww, that is adorable! I think it may be a little more difficult convincing him to pose or do anything Hallmark movie-related these days. (But you should absolutely try!) We're talking in circles amongst ourselves trying to figure out what's going to happen with our trip, waiting to be told what the new plan is. I think we're ready for anything! They've had a ton of snow but fine weather is coming so it should be magical if it works out. Any updates on the situation? I hope you can still enjoy it, whether this year or next. I'm so sorry about the mean weather. Definitely on the naughty list! (If this was the early 20th century and you were travelling by boat, I'd dare the terrible "nauti list" pun... ) I'm using some older papers from my stash, SR and OA, that are pinky red, and the colour is just making me so darn happy. Sounds so pretty! Pinky reds can be so yum and fun. I hope we'll get a peek at your older paper creations. We had our first in person work Christmas party since 2019, and one of my good friends, who is based interstate, flew in for the party. I had such a good night, completely topped off by getting to catch up with him. What a lovely gesture from your friend to complete such an important return-to-normal-ish-times event! I'm so happy you got to celebrate "for realsies" with your favourite people, finally. This pandemic has been so draining. These are the unforgettable milestones. Major rewards after several years of precautions. My wine glass with Christmas lights: So festive and cosy! Pour me one? Pretty please. I got a case of the ughs toward the middle of the month that brought me down a few pegs. This past weekend I twisted my ankle walking to a craft fair (with all disney makers(!!) I was genuinely really sad and the tears I shed weren't from pain lol) then my mom started having flu symptoms last night so our house is a big ol' mess right now. 🙃 "Ugh, ughs, go away, come again another day (or never again, actually)!" You're going through it, jenna. Is your ankle getting better? How's your mother? Pretty big worries right before the holidays! For some cheer, here's my angry looking meow Kingsley 🤣 he looks STOKED. Bwahaha, he's so freakin' over it. "Girl, this ain't no Party City." (Look at me with my US references, ooh-lala, fancy. ) Absolutely love the contrast. By the way, are your FA LA LA letters stuffed fabric ornaments or am I dreaming up the 3D effect? Très, très cool. My favorite story is our adult trip to Disneyland. There were four of us, and we didn't care about which rides we went on...we were there for the magical Christmas decorations and the parade. We purchased the photo package so we could have our pictures taken either as couples or with all four of us together. Yay, Disneyland trips without worries of what different age groups can do (and not losing the little ones) are so much fun. Whenever I've gone with friends bringing kids, I realise how much work it is to do these trips with young ones. I'm glad you got to soak up the Disney magic carefree and able to do whatever you like for once. Must've made for some gorgeous photos for your album, too.

One of the two foster doggies at my mother's is back at the vet clinic and will stay there for a couple of days. But I wanted to share his "sister" who is an absolute doll. She's such a kind soul so willing to trot along with Luna, stay patient as we try to brush out her matted coat (it's so, so bad - I feel we're never going to get to end of it) and maintain a sunny disposition 24/7. My heart breaks for the neglect and abuse she went through (including a broken jaw that wasn't cared for) but she is Christmas spirit embodied: pure love and happiness. Meet Mango, one of the pups who's been keeping me extra busy this past week (wouldn't have it any other way - she's worth every night spent sleeping with her in my arms and every hour spent detangling her coat):

I imagine fostering must be incredibly rewarding, to bring some love and joy to these little furry friends.

Any updates on the situation? Nope. I think we're at the absolute bottom of the priority list for rebooking - we're not trying to get home from a trip before Xmas, and we're a big group to find seats for. We're warm and safe at home and I imagine a lot of people in our situation are just canceling. My SILs are the type of people who face a problem like this by doing all the things, pushing, trying to fix the problem. Unfortunately there's nothing to do but wait and see what the airline comes up with for us and then we can decide if it works or not. It's making them crazy. The rest of us have let it go for now and if we get to go for any days over Xmas it will be a bonus. I've made a few more pages of my Xmas journal and I'm almost finished with A Storm for Christmas. I'm crocheting here and there, and I went for a walk in the beautiful snow and ice (our weather is almost as bad as Iceland's). I have an Icelandic mystery to listen to and I'm die cutting my new winter foliage and poinsettia dies that finally arrived from Honey Bee Stamps.

I did just start watching A Storm for Christmas on Netflix, the Norwegian limited series about being trapped in an airport during a Christmas snow storm. It was a bit too on the nose yesterday but today I'm pretty relaxed, just waiting to hear what the airline comes up with for us and whether it will still be worth going. You don't book a trip to Iceland in winter without expecting some inconvenience. I'm sorry to be late to catch up on developments here but having watched the first in this series last evening, the idea of being trapped in an airport right now is not my idea of fun. I read of the weather coming through the US in the coming days too and thought of everyone here, of friends hoping to travel and for whom this is all going to be a major headache. Stay safe everyone...stay warm. Sending warm thoughts to all - including blemon and her Mom.

I join the officially-on-Christmas-break gang, woohoo! The sun is out, we're predicted to have warm winter afternoons this weekend, I'm nearly done wrapping gifts. HUZZAH! I hope the holiday magic is reaching you wherever you are... December 22nd: WORDS // In a time heavily dominated by visual and aesthetic cues, today's prompt leads us to focusing on words, be it those of others or our own, and taking us back to the basic verbal roots of storytelling like was once the norm. Story prompt: "Spread the word" Record a story where words are at the heart of the memory in one way or another. Give yourself different options to explore: quote loved ones, print out a thoughtful email someone sent you, write out a memory like a short story to set the scene and narrate the action, address a love letter. (document the meaningful words you've overheard or been the recipient of this month: your children's cute stories and mispronounciations, a touching message or card you've received, lyrics to a Christmas song that are near and dear to you, etc.) (document a love letter to December, a special someone or maybe your family or friends group who've been particularly important to you lately - for inspiration, I highly recommend Brandi Kincaid's past December Daily albums on YouTube or her blog) (document the writing happening in your household right now such as filling in gift tags, last-minute letters to Santa, your December journal filled with anecdotes so you can get to making your album when the busy season ends, etc.) Creative prompt: Use your word-centric products in whichever way seems fit. Repeat a particular sentiment from a stamp set for cohesive effect and as a guideline for how you'll be wording your memory. Type or write out your story with fill-in gaps for corresponding phrase stickers. Stamp out a background with holiday sentiments as a frame for your photo. Song of the day:

I’m pouting (hope Santa doesn’t see me!). I just want to work on my December daily but just haven’t been able to. I’ve been struggling with some medical stuff and getting it resolved but I am just SO TIRED. If I make it to my scrap room after doing the things I have to, all I can manage is to watch a scrap video and touch my stuff longingly. Lol I’m off for Christmas in a couple hours and will see if I can clean my house, wrap the rest of the gifts and some cooking things and last minute shopping (snow prevented this any other time this week) MAYBE I can have a little time this evening.

I feel you. I took my supplies out to the dining room table the other day. Thought I might have some energy after work to work on it. I clearly don't. I should be out of work in less than 4 hours and we shall see what I do. I need to finish the Christmas quilt I'm working on too.

DD is on hold! Winter weather is here and City of Austin is already warning us of the possibility of no water. Running around trying to get all last minute baking done, laundry, etc. UGH.
