Alice reached out and is working on adding the classes. I've asked if I should change my email address for her website. I don't know if that will help or not. I do email after each purchase with a copy of the receipt but the last couple of times I've received no response. We'll see what they say. I’m not sure that will help. I changed my email address on the class site, but t all my class emails still go to my old address. I’ve emailed her a few times to try to get this corrected with no luck. |

It was not offically announced on the Friday live that Shimelle has a new line coming. It's already up on SG for pre-order Shimelle - Reasons to Smile, and I expect lots of peas will be excited by the navy Fitzgerald thickers in this line. |

There are quite a few pieces in this new collection that I really like, she has some good b sides that I think will be especially useful, I really like the polka dot on woodgrain that is on the reverse of the 2x2 squares, and the woodgrain ledger is different from anything I already own. I also like the shade of purple in this line. I look forward to seeing more images of the pieces in the paperie pack/other embellishments.

OMG, just found this through another pea - There's lots to like. LOVE the navy thickers. I feel like the icons are reasonably flexible - baking/book heavy, but I can roll with that.

I am watching the replay of the BOBW live this am and Shimelle said, "I love how you are all being so polite about what got leaked yesterday." Wonder if the new collection wasn't quite supposed to be announced yet? ETA: Yes, she addresses that it was leaked somehow, and talks a bit about how she hadn't even seen the final products yet when she found out that others had. She said, "I have a new collection, it comes out mid May and it is called Reasons to Smile." Love what she says about the title-"It's called Reasons to Smile with the caveat that some days you got nothing." She talks a bit about the woodgrain ledger (I will be buying so.much. of this. Also navy Thickers. And woodgrain puffy tile letters. Good gravy I am excited!  |

Thanks Chinagirl828 for showing us this. I like a lot of the B-sides of the pp-s and of course those navy Thickers. One pp that I didn't like was the pie-chart one; I've never gotten why those were popular. But lots of usable stuff here. |

I love the thickers - Navy is one of my favourite neutrals! Some of the papers will probably make my wishlist and possibly the die cuts.

While there are a few things I like from her new line...it just seems to be all over the place and not very cohesive. Only 2 papers I like and the enamel dots. The navy alpha is nice but too big for my needs.

Unsurprisingly, I LOVE her new collection!! I will be buying the navy Thickers in bulk! I picked up a ton of Main Character Energy and I’ve used it for several pages. I’ll do the same with this collection!! I love love love it.
I am disappointed it was leaked before Shimelle was able to see the final product. Hopefully a big shipment of new products are on their way to her so she can do an unboxing.

I like most of this too. Are there no cardstock stickers or any other flat stickers though? There's a paperie pack, whatever that is, and lots of ephemera, but I like stickers that are already sticky and spread out for me to see easily! 😅 Hopefully I'm just missing them!

I feel bad for her that her collection got leaked again before she has a chance to make her own announcement! I had heard through the grapevine that another designer had mentioned on a live that there would be a new Shimelle collection (a week or two ago?) and now a shop publishing before she's even had a chance to see which designs made it through the manufacturing process. I guess it's always going to be that way since she's so careful not to break the embargo herself. I see a few patterns that might work for my purposes  Glad she's able to keep designing and using her own papers. |

I must stop looking at this line because every time I do, I find something more that I like. Initially I thought I was just going to get the thickers. Then I thought I could pick up the embellishments because there are some good everyday icons there. Then I looked more closely at the paper--the b-sides are so lovely. I think she knocked this one out of the park. It will work really well with what I already have in my stash and I'm excited for this one.

No, we actually had this one at $17.99 until recently (congrats to everyone who got the lower price) but were informed a few days ago that $31.99 is the correct price. Looks like the Shimelle pad has hot stamped glitter accents and therefore thicker 200gsm paper. The Paige Evans pad is thinner paper with no additional accents. Hope that helps! |

BTW! Shimelle has posted the first video on YouTube in a new series called My Sparkly Friend! It’s going back to old GG videos, and making new LO’s with the same questions as before, but with new ideas in mind. WB did the intro question this time. So cute!
