BTW! Shimelle has posted the first video on YouTube in a new series called My Sparkly Friend! It’s going back to old GG videos, and making new LO’s with the same questions as before, but with new ideas in mind. WB did the intro question this time. So cute! I’m really looking forward to this series! I think I missed an explanation somewhere. She was mentioning a new partnership or something (different from the new collection) during the YT live this morning? I had to tend to many other things, so I missed a bunch. Anyone know what that was about? |

I will admit to being kind of disapointed...while I LOVE the idea of another series on youtube from Shimelle, I would really really love for her to finish other promised projects (like the Use What You Buy series) first. I appreciate totally that life happened, and am willing to give a ton of grace for that, especially being a mom, etc. However, if there is time to start a new youtube series, there is also time to finish off current projects I would think...I am not sure if this gets read anymore, but I do check the class listing every week or so, hopeful that the very reasonably priced content will show up soon.  |

It’s been quite some time, IIRC. I THINK it was on her knee, but I know she’s also had kidney stones in the past, so I’m not 100% sure.. |

Reading between the lines of her introduction/explanation: I think she just wanted to scrap whatever she wanted, be a "normal" scrapbooker for a moment. But she has a personal policy of always recording her scrappiness, so she decided to make something out of nothing? Maybe? I too think she produces enough content with her other projects *if she keeps on top of them* and this new idea could detract from her other content...or she'll rapidly abandon it  I'm betting the 2nd! |

Well, I'll be! She just said at the end of the live today that the punches class will be up Friday! She actually said the word "punch class" out loud (very very quickly. I'm pretty sure she's embarrassed which is kinda fitting...).
ETA: what the heck does the phrase "well I'll be" mean anyways? It was the first thing in my head to express my surprise and takenaback-ness about it, but the phrase is rather nonsensical isn't it?

It's $31.99 for 48 sheets, compared to most paper pads, including Paige Evans' new Adventurous 48-sheet paper pad, priced at $17.99. No, we actually had this one at $17.99 until recently (congrats to everyone who got the lower price) but were informed a few days ago that $31.99 is the correct price. Looks like the Shimelle pad has hot stamped glitter accents and therefore thicker 200gsm paper. The Paige Evans pad is thinner paper with no additional accents. Hope that helps! A competing site has the 12x12 paper pad up at $21.99. Of course $17.99 is too low, but seems like $31.99 might not be right either. |

A competing site has the 12x12 paper pad up at $21.99. Of course $17.99 is too low, but seems like $31.99 might not be right either. I saw that as well. It's possible they just haven't updated it yet since it isn't for sale currently. It's also possible the info I got from our distributor was wrong - AC recently stopped working directly with independent retailers (us included) and information has been a little harder to come by since then. We'll compare with the invoice once it arrives, and if it does end up being cheaper, we'll go through and refund anyone who paid the higher price. |

This is what she sent me when I asked… Yes, it’s not on your end. It’s something going on with the hosting server (I wonder if maybe they were in the path of the storms yesterday? I have no idea where the actual servers are located.) and I’ve put in a request but not heard back yet. I’m sorry for the hassle. I’ve been able to eventually get things to load but it takes several tries each time and it’s annoying, for sure. Hopefully, it won’t last long. |

The punch class is part of a series of classes call Use What You Buy. Each set of classes is focused on a different tool/supply such as stamps, stickers, bold paper, etc. The Use What You Buy Punch Class is her newest one and has been pending for many months. She does presales for these classes at a discounted rate. But you never know how long it will take her to release the class. |

But she has turned it into more of a class and giving more content compared to the other "use what you buy" series, to try to make up a little for the wait. It's kinda like overusing your credit card - you pay interest. Shimelle gets behind, and knows she is behind so then goes to lengths to make up for it, which then costs her in other ways (like keeping up with current classes!). |
