CCB was interviewed recently talking about GAC and why she left Hallmark, obviously we already know but now we're hearing it from the horses mouth... as she's trying to push the movie she's in lol
"I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core" *insert huge animated barf emoji here* Abbott also alluded to ~non traditional relationships~ being a trend. Again, *big animated barf emoji*
Speaking of Chad dude's just a trash person lol. I listen to the OTH rewatch podcast with Hilarie, Bethany Joy, and Sophia and knowing how he treated Sophia during their relationship is PEAK trash.
Hilarie tweeted about the CCB/Hallmark stuff yesterday too -- how she called out the network previously so hearts to her.
They're just saying the quiet stuff out loud now.
Anyways, as for Lifetime stuff there's no rhyme or reason to what I'm watching so just my luck it'll be a bunch of garbage options lol

I'm glad I popped in! Marking my calendar for "A Royal Corgi Christmas". I won't even care if it's terrible if the dogs get decent screen time. 😄

Started up Friday's movie Noel Next Door.. I didn't exactly have "non-disabled actor playing physically disabled person" on my Hallmark bingo card in 2022 yet here we are So far I am not liking this one. No way in hell can a single mom afford an apartment like that in the New York City area on a waitress salary. But the tampon joke was good. Go hallmark.
EDIT: I finished it and it ended up being good, as expected but jenna is right. That's a hot mess with regards to people with similar disabilities.
I could go on but there's just a lot of bizarre stuff. I would say maybe just skip this one. There are enough options out there that you don't need to add this to your list.

Just finished the Lindsay Lohan movie Falling for Christmas on Netflix and it's everything you think it will be. She's delightful. The male leads are great. It's cute and sappy. I watched Falling for Christmas this weekend too - I liked it! I watched this last night and also enjoyed it.

I hid my comment on this in a spoiler, but I said about it: “It's a kind of sequel to Christmas Under Wraps, with maybe a slight passive aggressive mention of the previous female lead, CCB, who went to Great American Family (good riddance, lol!)” I didn’t catch it at first, until Andy told Jodie Sweetin that the doctor gf went to SF. I was like why do they keep bringing this up (and with specific details about the ex)?! Eventually it clicked what they were doing. I’m slow, lol. Oh, thank you! I wondered if they would address it directly. It was messing with my mind that they're both Full House actresses. At first I thought I was mixing them up when I heard the "that's Garland for ya" in the trailer. lol. I watched this last night and I really liked it. I like that Jodi Sweetin.
I see she and CCB are in some sort of feud over Jo Jo Siwa.
I didn't actually read the article but it came up in my facebook.
I definitely recommend A Cozy Christmas Inn.
I'm catching up to you guys!

I like Jodi Sweetin way more than I think I should, if that makes sense. I couldn't stand her as a child but she has such a sweet face and there's just something about her I like. I have enjoyed her last few movies. I'll definitely try and catch this one.

I watched Cozy Christmas Inn last night - it was cute! I thought Jodi was great in it - she's very cute & likeable in this. I never saw "Christmas Under Wraps" so the multiple doctor comments were lost on me

I feel like there is a heavy metal band called kimmy gibler. And because of that there is a sandwich named that at this amazing vegan restaurant in Pittsburgh called Onion Maiden which is a comfort food-asian fusion place. OMG their food is amazing. I am remembering that maybe the Kimmy Gibler was a hot dog with special toppings. They do a pop-up that's very metal themed a few times a year and that's what I think it is. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the British movie. Jolly Good Christmas. I don't know if there were any fake accents but nothing bothered me. All the actors were great and not super stereotyped. Some twists. I'll go read back now and see what y'all thought of it but this is one I will def. watch again.

Ok, just read all your comments and you are hating on Will Kemp's American accent. I don't pay attention too much to the actors so I had no idea he was British. His accent didn't bother me. I had to look up Will Kemp and realize he was the dude from Jolly Good Christmas.
Try to get past his accent cause it's a cute one.
The plot does not require him to be American at all so that's bizarre. Any British dude can be dating his boss's daughter. You don't need a work visa for that to work. How odd they made that choice.
BUT ALSO YOU GUYS. I lived in London on a student work visa (BUNAC) for a few months right after I graduated college so I got to be there when all of London was decorated for Christmas (they start in October cause they don't freak out on Halloween like we do and they don't have Thanksgiving so it's christmas forever there). I used to get on the top level of the double decker bus after work and just ride all the way down Oxford street to look at lights.
That was the year Princess Diana died and the teletubbies were HUGE and the spice girls were everywhere. What a time.
This movie brought back memories. And I need to back to London something fierce.

So far, Ghosts of Christmas Always from last Sunday night is the winner for me. So, so good. It's not a simple, straightforward story to follow. There are a few major twists that require your focus but it's top notch Christmas movie material. Very impressed. My current absolute favorite this season is Ghosts of Christmas Always. This one hit all the marks for me - casting, acting, plot, script. 100% agree. Best one yet. All the actors were incredible. Great story. I'm in need of tissues.

The Christmas Village one was fine.. just boring. I found myself looking to see how much time was left a couple times. Yeah. Like there wasn't much plot. I'm not sure I felt the chemistry between the two leads. Seemed forced. Cute though. I really like the male lead, Luke Macfarlane so I stuck with it. A good one to play candy crush to.

Made Chris watch 3 wise men and a baby while it was on, WITH COMMERCIALS and y'all !!! it was great.
There was definitely a couple huh?'s that weren't answered and completely glossed over but with all the positives I can let it go. We'd definitely watch again.
Tyler Hynes remains the superior Hallmark guy in my mind, dude does the deadpan stuff so well and I love it lol

I watched Christmas With You on Netflix last night and really enjoyed it.
The movie is about a pop star (Aimee Garcia) who is struggling with her career and runs away to a small town. She meets a widowed music teacher (Freddie Prince Jr, always a favorite to watch) and... no spoilers!
I enjoyed the music and dancing in it, too. Aimee Garcia sings all of her own songs in the movie and did a lovely job, in my opinion. I recommended it!
I tried watching the new Lindsay Lohan movie immediately after, but fell asleep. I will have to try watching that movie again later.

No one has said anything about Lights, Camera, Christmas on Hallmark.
Super cute.
Lots of making fun of the hallmark movie tropes.
I'd watch it again.
Also don't forget the Nine Kittens of Christmas. Super good. If you didn't catch it in the past, watch it again. And the other one about cats with the same two actors. Both were two of my favorites last year.

I watched Ryan Reynolds & Will Ferrell's "Spirited" last night with DH. I would never willingly watch that movie ever again. DH & I tried to watch it Friday night. We watched about 30-40 minutes of it then bailed. I was expecting a lot of comedy & this wasn't it for me. I also didn't know it was a musical so that bothered me as well. One of my Facebook friends posted it was the their favorite new Christmas movie so I was wondering if it got better but based on your review I am going to say it did not!

I haven’t watched yet but sorry that several didn’t like it. I loved Three Wisemen and a Baby so cute. There have been some good ones this year. Kismet Christmas was good, Jolly Good Christmas and Inventing the Christmas Prince were some of my favorites so far.

Alright, it took DH & I two nights to finish the Lindsay Lohan "Falling for Christmas" on Netflix. The blooper reel was the best part after the real couple of the film, Ralph & Tad.
Honestly, it could just be me. I'm not feeling Christmas and this one was very predictable.
