Looks like the flower dies are in the premium, word dies in the classic. Also a floral layering background stencil set, I think.

I wanted to love it, but nope. Not anything I need. To be fair, anything remotely Valentine related is usually a no for me.

And a heart shaped die too, Shakti. Nothing that I want or need. Im with lokismom , valentine's day specific sets don't intrest me.

It's pretty, but is the background a stencil? I can get that look just by using patterned paper.

Having looked at both MMH kits and the Joann Make Yourself at Home, I almost feel like what I want is the HA premium elements only. But I definitely don't need them....

I was just browsing the past kits at Hero Arts and almost none of last year’s kits have sold out! It used to be that a year later there was almost nothing left. I think only Feb 2023 has sold out if both classic and premium and there were a couple of months where one or the other was all gone. I wonder if they’ve increased their supply or if demand has fallen off. I watch Scott use the kit on Card Cut Ups YT channel each month and despite his creativity I have barely been tempted by anything.

What is that tropical plant in the classic kit? Anthurium maybe? Do not love. The premium elements look mildly intriguing and I do love that by making them available separately there are essentially three kits every month.

Ugh! That has to be the ugliest anthuriam I've seen, and the word stamp... For me, Hero arts has lost its luster.

Nope for this kit too. It looks boring to me. What I don't mind, need to stay frozen for February so no FOMO.

I was being nosy and had to look this up. I don't really buy hero arts kits but this one would definitely be a pass. The plant looks odd.

I think it's actually supposed to be a peace lily, although coloring them as an anthurium also works. Aren't peace lilies associated with Easter? I think they have a lot of symbolism but they're not something I want to stamp or color... smartgardenguide.com/peace-lily-meaning-and-symbolism/Nothing for me here.

I’ve been loving the heck out of HA’s decorated sentiment stamps or whatever you want to call those in the premium kit. I had so much fun with the ones in the September MMH that I got a couple winter-themed sets. Depending on what else is in the premium elements set — other than those stamps and the stencil — and how much it is, I might bite at that one.

I do like the premium elements stamp set -- even the clouds are cute and I can see using them on encouragement Cards for Cubs or the like. But those word dies and the sentiment ephemera...did Yoko replace Libby at Hero Arts or something? I still like the sun stencil and I also like the colored ephemera.

I'm not a fan of this months kit but I do like that you can get the a la carte option for the premium kit elements. That's a great idea. I hope it continues.

I'll be the lone voice that says I like the Peace Lily/Anthurium. I am big into plants and flowers and if they sold just the stamp and die, I'd likely add it to my collection. But, I don't want the other stuff in the small kit, so it's a pass for me.

Looks like mountains and water — very outdoorsy/masculine. Then florals added in the premium? It’ll be interesting to see how it compares to and possibly coordinates with last August’s kit.

Looks like it's inspired by the beauty of Japan with a cherry blossom add-on. This one is the best one of the year so far, and yet not even slightly compelled to buy it. I suppose that's good since I have spent a small fortune the last few days on The Greetery & PinkFresh.

Well, damn...I think I need the Asian window die, so I think I'm in for at least the classic. The Joann/HA collaboration has ended, at least for now, so at least the only HA monthly kits now are the MMH.

I may cave…I was in Japan in August and may be back in October. The makes from the blog hop are nicer, imo, than the sneaks and have pushed me over the line.
That window die is beautiful. And the cherry blossom set is way worth the price difference to bump to Premium..

I watch Scott use the kit on Card Cut Ups YT channel each month and despite his creativity I have barely been tempted by anything. I used to buy leftover parts of the kits that I liked, if anything was left. I rarely loved enough to subscribe, and I have more than I will ever need or use, so I don’t sign up for kits or anything monthly. There were some kits in the past that I liked at least parts, but it’s been a long time since I really liked anything they’ve offered.

I didn’t realize they sold the MMH parts separately (though the Joann kits were generally made up of released elements). I was “good” and ordered the classic, but mcjunkin ’s post pushed me over edge…I called HA and fixed it.
