I also hope that the CPAP helps - everyone I know with one has found it's made a good difference but sometimes it's taken a couple of tries to get the right set-up I'm off to a slow start myself this morning - didn't sleep well either and got up late. I have a few chores to tackle and then will scrap some more. I need to do the journalling and titles for the layouts I did during the online crop last evening. |

Wanted to share a LO I put together this morning, created using my Christmas gift from justjac. She found the perfect winter themed papers for me, with coordinated diecuts, from an Edmonton designer. Part of me wants to use these on every LO or card, and part wants to hoard them for the PERFECT page. knutschen , I am so sorry you are having to go through all that is necessary in a divorce. You will be in my prayers. I hope that he will move out without problems. Great big hugs to you! joyfulnana , I am so glad things went well your your DS2 in court. He has worked hard and it has paid off. I am glad there are judges who have some empathy for addicts. I hope DS1 gets over Covid without any hang-on symptoms. I hope you will be able to watch Rudy in his weapons training. What a fun time for him. Linda , the weather is so strange this year. We are just grateful for all the moisture the state has received. I'm tired of snow and cold but know it will give us drinking water this summer. Enjoy your warm days and budding flowers for me. grammadee, I love your pages. I'll check them out up close in the gallery. It was fun to see grammadee , Linda , joyfulnana and kitbop online on Sat. Oh my knutschen, I'm so sorry you are going to be going through such a difficult transition. None of it will be enjoyable but you obviously have been living uncomfortably for some time, so your decision sounds like it was well thought out beforehand. I hope your not-so-DH figures out his end of the deal quickly. joyfulnana - that is wonderful news about the court decision! Yay! Your new avatar picture is just sweet  |

nylene I’m glad your husbands surgery went well and he is feeling good. The weather in Southern California has been so intense the past few days! But we had a good week with my in-laws, and yesterday was my godsons baptism. I’m so glad he didn’t cry at all during it! Today we invited my cousins, aunts, uncles, etc and told them our news. Some people were surprised (mostly the men) but I think some people already knew 😅. Hope everyone has a smooth week!

Happy Monday Pokeys! knutschen I'm so sorry you are going through this. My divorce was similar- he did not want to accept it. It took several years, but we are at a good place, able to be friendly without any animosity. (((hugs))) and I hope getting your sleep sorted with help! It was so good to see so many peas Saturday night! I finished a page for Day 2 Saturday - I'm not happy with it, but it's done and then another quick one for Day 5. Nothing like waiting to the end of the month to start lol. I have to wait for some good light to post. I hope you all have a great week, and stay safe in this crazy weather! I'm really wondering what all of this is going to do to the summer RV season (I'm not going to be mad if it's slow) lol. We have rain here today, I guess was the planet keeps warming, we can expect to see more turbulent season changes. gramma how are you? I feel like I didn't get to check in very well with you Saturday. |

It was good cropping with everyone last night - I don't feel like I do a good job actually chatting though. gramma and nylene - hope your dhs are doing well Today I must clean all the things after neglecting the housework all weekend. I do have a FB crop tonight so hope to get grammadee's challenge done (3, 2, 1) - hers have been the hardest this time around - and also whatever is posted for today. |

scrappyrabbit, what fun to have the family together to break your news. I'm sure they are all excited for you and DH. I have seen on the news that CA weather is being really crazy. Our DD in No.CA said the wind was so intense she worried that they would blow away. Stay safe and dry! joyfulnana , I love your idea of a Secret Day Off. I wonder how I could work that out around here. I'm glad you had a nice, restful day. knutschen , I hope you are getting better sleep. Hugs for all the things on your mind! Linda , you are really moving along on the challenges. I seem to stay about 4 days behind. I doubt I will get all done, but it has really helped lower my big stack of photos. I hope you get all your goals accomplished today. I hope you all have a good week. I love chatting and typing with all of you! It is snowing like crazy and we got another 6 inches last night. I was hoping to get out to do some errands today but I'd never get out of the driveway.

Linda, I just laughed out loud as I read your post and then looked at the photo. Thanks for a good laugh today. I needed that. More snow this morning, but the sun is out and it will probably melt off the plowed roads. We ran a few errands this morning and the main roads were ok. It's the side streets that still need plowing. I finished a layout that will cover two challenges so I have 2 left to do. I won't get them done by midnight, but will finish them over the weekend, I hope.

I had last week off with school holidays. We went to my sister's for the long weekend and had a good visit with her and my mom. We knitted, played games, and watched curling on tv. Then this weekend Dean and I went to the city to see the musical Anastasia. The rest of the time I read and knitted. I am nearly half done the border of my afghan. Also some news with my play. I am no longer stage manager. I am now playing Mrs. White! The original actor decided she had overcommitted herself and had to back out. |

linda that picture is hilarious. Hopefully you can convince the kitty to find another nap spot, but he seems comfortable there. justjac sounds like you had a nice week off. that is fun news about the play! How many weeks of rehearsal do you have? nylene stay safe with all that snow. It sounds like you have nice neighbors to help with the plowing.

Woah, nylene and Linda! you don't need to finish all the 28-4-28 challenges by midnight tonight! We have until next Monday to finish them for the bonus, and all month of March to finish them for the individual challenge points! Congrats on getting the acting role, justjac. I need to find out when tickets go on sale for that production. scrappyrabbit, I bet your family was thrilled with your news. I am planning to set up an on line crop tomorrow morning, and hope to get my last two challenges completed then, as well as my sample for the March Donna challenge. That is, if I can do all that in one two-page spread. LOL. Did a little prep work this morning, but ended up spending much of the rest of the day in town. It has been so cold lately that everyone has been huddling in their houses. But today everyone was out and about and I ended up having coffee with a couple of different friends. |

nylene - I'm glad you enjoyed the photo - Dusty is definitely my scrapbooking buddy but he takes up more space on the desk now. justjac - congratulaions on your role as Mrs White! It sounds like you had a nice break! scrappyrabbit - my family likes to remind me that it's my own fault he likes the scrapbook space as I let him explore it when he was a tiny 8oz baby kitten. He's an 11-lb cat now and takes up rather more room. grammadee - I know but I would like to finish - just have today's challenge to go. Then I can tally up points and be ready for a new month. Glad you got to see friends for coffee.

Hi All! justjac - you are so brave to tackle acting. I have such envy of people who are able to get up on stage. I love watching, but I don't think I could perform. grammadee - I so wish I could join mid-week crops! but work is crazy busy (we've had significant snow and ice in the past week with resulting injuries) and if I stayed home there would be chaos for my coworkers. My OT "partner" (on our surgical unit, PT and OT do a lot of the discharge preparation work) is off with covid this week so we're already stretched thin. linda - Dusty is so cute. I have 2 cats who love to curl up in the middle of what I'm working on, or at least take up a good chunk of my limited desk space. Today, we were finishing passport renewal paperwork and the cats were walking all over them...several pages are significantly worse for wear because of it but I'm not filling out fresh ones now! nylene - congrats on getting all the challenges done! I loved your layout about Alex and the diver. That was a quick and cute retort he made! I am spending a lot of my free time doing disney research and things like booking restaurants. I still have to plan our outfits (we're each going to pick a "theme" for 1 day at Disney, and dress in homage to the characters). It's 7 weeks away but I'm quite nervous because it seems so complicated!!! |
