If you have 8 minutes this is worth a listen. I made it about half way through before I wanted to take my poor iPad and wack this guy, Dahm, on the head. And I’m not a fan of violence. I absolutely love Jon Stewart!

The biggest difference between the Democrat and Republican politicians is Democrats care about the American People. Here is proof once again Republican politicians don’t. A reminder this year is less than 90 days old but yet there have been 130 mass shootings and this fool thinks to talk about is premature. Well, if there’s a shooting everyday, it will always be “premature” to talk about it. It’s not premature in relation to Columbine, Sandy hook, Stoneman Douglas, etc., etc, ….. infinity

She really isn’t that smart. So according to her when she was in the 11th grade Joe Biden personally made schools gun free zones. I’m thinking when she was in the 11th grade Joe Biden was a Senator and I don’t know of any one Senator that has that much to decide all schools were gun free zones.
Then she was outraged when a boy brought three guns yo school and there was a school lockdown. She wasn’t outraged because the boy brought the guns to school but officials had shut the school down.

I’m all for the environment but this is ridiculous. There time could and should be addressing issues that really are harmful to the environment.
From the article..
”We get people from literally all over the planet," said Seaplane Adventures Owner Aaron Singer.
Singer told KCBS Radio that just as he had renegotiated an operating agreement with the Parks Service to continue flying over Muir Woods, the Golden Gate Bridge and Point Reyes — the Marin Audubon Society and two other environmental groups sued the Parks Service to severely limit his business.
The groups claim that the government did not adequately conduct environmental studies impacting wildlife and argue that the planes have no place over federal parklands.
"They're proposing to restrict our company to 50 flights a year, which is preposterous," Singer said. "It would obviously put me out of business."
Seaplane Adventures was founded in 1945 by a returning veteran World War II seaplane pilot. "Seaplanes have played a significant role in American and world history. Our pilots have an admiration for that history and the unique experience seaplanes have to offer. That unique seaplane experience combined with the stunning views of the Bay Area makes a perfect place for our pilots to share their passion with curious visitors," the company wrote on its website.”

seaplanes over marin county would be annoying as hell to both visitors, wildlife and the locals... do you want them buzzing your house? these parks are in very urban areas for the most part..or next to urban areas. you can't see anything of muir woods from the air other than a mass of green. looks like the massive green the next valley over.

MTG graduated in 1992 therefore she was in 11th grade in 1990-1991 Joe Biden was indeed a senator for DE therefore I’m guessing she is referring to the www.congress.gov/bill/101st-congress/senate-bill/3266 ?? Which does create ‘gun free school zones’ but I don’t see a requirement to lock down schools if someone brings a gun in, in this bill. But I’ll admit I did only skim it. Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 - Amends the Federal criminal code to impose criminal penalties for the possession or discharge of a firearm in a school zone, with specified exceptions including the possession or discharge by an individual as part of a school program or by a law enforcement officer acting in an official capacity. Encourages Federal, State, and local authorities to post signs around school zones warning of a prohibition of the possession of firearms in a school zone. Requires the U.S. Sentencing Commission to transmit to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees a report on mandatory minimum sentencing provisions in Federal law. Authorizes railroad police officers to enforce the laws of any jurisdiction in which the rail carrier owns property, subject to specified limitations. I’m not understanding her issue actually. I mean, the bill does have specific exceptions for specific school activities and LEO operating in an official capacity. But I don’t see where it says to lock down schools.

I live under the flight path for some of the planes heading to the Sonoma County Airport and since it’s only a couple a day it does not bother me. I checked and these are not scheduled tours. One has to book one and there is a requirement of three people. The cost for these three people is just under $1,000 so I doubt there a lot of tours that fly around/by Muir Woods everyday. Especially on days like today. Also from what I gather the tour is mainly along the coastline. Especially since it flies over the Golden Gate Bridge, Point Reyes and Stinson Beach. Which makes sense since some of the prettiest coastline in CA is north of the Golden Gate Bridge. And according to the article he recently renegotiated with the Park Services so he has been doing this for awhile. Meaning they are not just now adding Muir Woods to the tour. There two types of tour that fly north. One lasts between 40-45 minutes and the other around 60 minutes. Which means they not are spending time repeatedly flying over a specific area. IMO what you have here are some environmentalists that got a bug up their butt that this is wrong. I doubt that they have any proof of what they are claiming. I mean seriously Muir Woods is so popular that a parking nightmare was created because so many people wanted to visit it that now you have to make parking reservations or ride a shuttle. Which means an awful lot of folks are tramping through the park on daily basis which could do more harm to the park/animals then an occasional plane flying over/around. Especially if it’s only one or two a day.

So McCarthy flat out refused to answer any questions or comment on the mass shooting in Nashville.
Gavin Newsom summed up McCarthy in one word. “Coward” which he is.
But this….
So he is walking away without answering the questions. But at the very end he asks the reporters would they believe anything he says? My first thought was no. 😀

Is Weisselberg ready to flip?!?! Sources are telling WNBC that Allen Weisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization, has fired his Trump Org lawyers. Weisselberg is not the first one to do something like this. Michael Cohen did it just before he flipped on Trump. Cassidy Hutchinson had a Trump-funded lawyer before she fired him and got another lawyer so she could tell the Jan. 6 investigatory committee the truth about what she learned working for former chief of staff Mark Meadows. Each time a Trump-funded lawyer was fired, it has been an indication that those previous allies were about to turn. Weisselberg is serving a five-month sentence in Rikers Island Prison, known for being one of the most violent prisons in America. MSNBC's Ali Velshi noted that if someone was trying to get Weisselberg to flip, now would be the time. Last month, the New York Times reported that the Manhattan prosecutor's office was pondering whether to file new charges against Weisselberg for fraud. www.rawstory.com/allen-weisselberg-trump-lawyer/

Only the best for a Florida Charter school principal. It wasn’t exactly a Nigerian prince scam. Florida charter school Principal Jan McGee resigned this week after sending $100,000 to a scammer pretending to be South African entrepreneur Elon Musk, who’s worth an estimated $192 billion. According to Orlando, Fla., station WESH, McGee was repeatedly warned that the grifter, who promised to invest millions into Burns Science and Technology after the school paid him a six-figure upfront investment, was likely not the world’s second richest man. The school’s business manager reportedly got word of McGee’s blunder and stopped payment, but that didn’t save the principal’s job. “I am a very smart lady,” McGee said at a Tuesday night meeting before offering to turn in her resignation, which school administrators accepted. “I fell for a scam.” nordot.app/1013950553854820352

North Dakota state Sen speaks out against funding free lunches for kids whose family income is below twice the poverty level. Pro-birth policy comes out in public again, you're dead to us after!! During the debate before the measure failed, State Senator Mike Wobbema (R -24th District) coldly explained his opposition to ensuring that kids are fed."We talk about personal responsibility as one of the major, um, principles that the Republican Party stands on. Um, yes, I can understand kids going hungry, but is that really the problem of the school district? Is that the problem of the state of North Dakota?" Wobbema asked rhetorically. He answered his own question. "It's really the problem of parents being negligent with their kids if their kids are choosing to eat in the first place, which is entirely the problem that could be existing," Wobbema said. "I don't believe that it is our responsibility to carry on a program in excess of what the federal government already does. Where does it stop?" www.rawstory.com/watch-north-dakota-republican-blames-parents-being-negligent-with-their-kids-for-students-going-hungry-2659679508/

So this guy is testifying before a Republican majority committee on “weaponizing” and he tells them the Republicans are the ones spreading the majority lies on the 2020 election. 😀. I mean it’s true but I’m pretty sure that is not what the Republicans wanted to hear especially since the committee was formed to “get” the Democrats.

I have to give the Democrats on the House Committees gold stars because they really are standing their ground against the ridiculousness of the Republicans .
From what I can determine the Republicans wanted to enter a statement of something from I think a DA of some state as the gospel. The Democrat is saying the DA should be before the committee so they could be questioned about the contents of the document. So the Republican gets up and gives the document to her saying that is all that is needed and she gets up and gives it back and says no it’s not.
