This would be my dream come true. Let all those red states see exactly how well the Republicans care about them.

She doesn’t think. That is her problem. She just wants her name in the news. It is a double edge sword. I sometimes wish the media would ignore her and stop giving her oxygen. The flip side is they need to keep her in the news so people can see just how stupid she is. She’s earning those big bucks from whichever sources of RW dark money (and foreign entities) are bankrolling her and her band of MAGAts. Discord and chaos are the goal, and this one delivers.

So... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_tax_revenue_by_statewww.businessinsider.com/federal-taxes-federal-services-difference-by-state-2019-1And then.. While Senate Republicans derided the aid as a “blue-state bailout,” seven of the 10 states that fared the best in 2020 had two GOP senators, according to the Rockefeller Institute. Republican Leader Mitch McConnell’s home state of Kentucky received $3.78 for every $1 paid in federal taxes, more than any other state. Kentucky ranked fourth in the state comptroller’s study. In that report, eight of the top 10 states had two Republican senators. “The bottom line is the red states and the moocher states continue to stick it to Jersey,” said Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-5th Dist. “The story line hasn’t changed.”

Curious - many of the people who move from Cali to Texas find their all-in tax burden is actually higher here due to our property and sales taxes. This seems to be true for all but the the very wealthy. Might transplants to Florida find a similar situation? State has to generate revenue somehow. We have no state income tax in Florida. We get a lot of our state's income from tourism and our property taxes are a fraction of northeast states and California. Austin and Denver are also a couple of cities where Californians are transplanting.

MTG sure has some strange undead... Imagine an insurrectionist talking about Democrats dreams of lawlessness. "Of course interstate trade, travel, and state relations would continue," she continued. "However in red states, they could have different rules about store product placement on national store's shelves. In red states, I highly doubt Walmart could place sex toys next to children's toothbrushes." "And in blue states, they would immediately disarm their citizens of course because those bad guns get up and kill people by themselves all the time," Greene remarked. "In a National Divorce, the left could achieve their dreams of total and complete lawlessness." www.rawstory.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-national-divorce-2659448210/

I’m all for it. The morons living in red states will be illiterate and destitute within 2 years asking for handouts and the blue states can tell them to go fuck themselves. Can we give Texas back to Mexico while we’re at it? Just because I was born, raised and currently live in a red state does not make me a moron. I am not destitute or illiterate. The way other people in my state vote does not mean that I believe what they do or vote the way they do. Blue states are full of conservative voters the same way our state has plenty of liberal voters. This. Pink Lady, I suggest you visit Eureka Springs AR or Hot Springs AR during the documentary film festival. Or Bentonville during their film fest. You'd change your mind quick

Then Arkansas needs to tax their residents and stop taking 12.7 billion dollars from us.. Total balance of payments: $12.7 billion
Per capita balance of payments: $4,255
*** The difference per capita means how much the average state resident received in federal services versus what they paid in federal taxes. In California, each resident is sending in $348 more than they get back. In Iowa, each resident is receiving $797 more back in federal services than they paid in taxes.

That's because she only talks to MAGA folks. My favorite saying, "When everyone thinks alike, nobody thinks very much." She ought to get out more. As I recall, McCarthy was held hostage for five days and 15 votes and now they've got him by the short ones. Generalizations, anyone? My state may be completely mental and our governor is evil incarnate, but we're not all troglodytes who vote MAGA. BTW, Florida is about to fall into the ocean under the weight of all the people moving here to escape insane taxes. We may end up blue after all. Curious - many of the people who move from Cali to Texas find their all-in tax burden is actually higher here due to our property and sales taxes. This seems to be true for all but the the very wealthy. Might transplants to Florida find a similar situation? State has to generate revenue somehow. I know several people who moved to other states and didn’t thoroughly go thru what services are included in your taxes and which are not. Surprises for them Garbage collection fees Sewer fees Public School fees ( lab fees, text book fees heck even AP fees are paid here ) some people had a huge wake up paying all these fees for 3 or so kids whereas that’s all covered in NJ public schools you only pay for a textbook if you loose it or ruin it. There are no lab fees. We didn’t even pay for AP fees, AP test, even psat was free. When you’re moving you need to compare apples to apples and get a list of services that are going to be extra. Because taxes aren’t the whole picture.

About fees included or not. We have always had to pay trash and sewer fees. Growing up they were included in property taxes but since moving to different cities neither of them have them included. Public school is mostly paid for I think sports are extra. I think you have fees for AP classes. Busses are extra snd was almost $500 a year 3.5 years ago. This is just regular for school not for sports or after school activities. This is in a city in Southern California. I’m sure there are other things in different areas that are included or not.

Stupidity sure, isn't what she's saying just a bit treasonous? A bit treasonous like someone is a bit pregnant. She is the worst of the worst. I thought I saw that Greater Idaho passed some legislation too. They want the red parts of Oregon and Washington. I meant that sarcastically. Treason is treason. Idaho can have the red parts of Washington and Oregon. Jokes on them.

Pink Lady, I suggest you visit Eureka Springs AR or Hot Springs AR during the documentary film festival. Or Bentonville during their film fest. You'd change your mind quick You've got to be fucking kidding! I wouldn't step my big toe in that state. Arkansas is one of the worst states. They are: - 49th in healthcare
- 41st in education
- 41st in economy
- 43rd in infrastructure
- 48th in crime and corrections
- 44th overall
www.usnews.com/news/best-states/arkansasBut hey, they have a film festival or two that makes it all ok.

The way I loath this evil woman, she disturbs me so much she's haunted my dreams.
I must have fallen asleep after watching a TikTok about her because I had a vivid dream where she's chasing after AOC on the steps of the Capitol, running up in her heels and her weather girl style tight polyester sleeveless dress and she misses a step - topples back slo mo style just like in Death Becomes Her. When she gets up her neck is all twisted backward asking everyone 'what's wrong!?" when they look at her in horror.
I was bummed when I woke up and realized it was just a dream.

To a certain extent I agree with Paul Waldman. It’s easy to believe that if you ignore them they will go away. But they won’t and I’m finding there are people in this country that buy this stuff she spouting.
The biggest difference between Ann Coulter and MTG is MTG is a member of Congress and that makes her far more dangerous to this country then some talking head right winger.
IMO the best way to handle people like her and trump is to confront them directly and in a public setting. And I don’t mean ambush them as they walk down the street or in a restaurant while they are eating a meal. I mean in a place where either there is a live audience or on tv.
But the problem is the Republicans have become very good at insulating themselves from having to answer questions they don’t want to in public.
So here is MTG spouting all this crap on twitter and right wing friendly tv stations and no one is challenging her to her face on what she is saying. Sure people are calling her out for her crazy talk but from a distance.
So she and other Republicans get away with this kind of crazy talk.

You know, this is exactly right. If she and others like her are so opposed to how this country’s government is set up there are plenty of authoritarian regimes they can pack up and move to. Not sure how that will work out for her in the long run, since authoritarian leaders don’t tend to like people who spout off the way she does. Loud mouthed people like her usually end up in jail or dead in countries like that.
