I have only done it once and Claudia walked me through it. That was ages ago and I don't think I remember how. If you get back and start one I will hop on, or if someone less computer-challenged starts one I will hop on. Sorry. I need to relearn.

Good Sunday afternoon, Pokeys! Just a quick check in.
I had a productive day. Managed to complete a couple of two pagers (shared in the Lazy Crazy Daze thread), picked beans, dug carrots, and blanched peas from yesterday, some with beans and carrots for mixed vegetables. Everything is drying now between towels, and later I will need to bag them.
Dd & dgs are back in Alberta, but actually about 3 hours away from here. They plan to stop in to their old neighbourhood before heading out this way. They may not come out to the farm until tomorrow, depending how late they get away from there.

you've been busy grammadeeGlad you figured out the crop joyfulnana -sorry I wasn't around to join in. Yesterday was a long, busy day - we left the house at 7ish to drive to the train station. DD16's train was due in abt 920 but was a little late. Then we went to a museum re-opening -toured the remodeled museum and several out buildings - it was SO hot and humid ugh. We also went to a general store/post office in that area and toured it as well. Went out to lunch and DD wanted to do back to school yesterday rather than waiting until today so we did that as well. Today has been a little quieter - we did go out for a couple more back to school items locally and I picked up a photo order. DH mowed, DD is unpacking, and I've been scrapping. Hoping to get August 2021 finished tonight or tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday! Waving hi to you all. Ron had a vacation day yesterday and this weekend we will be getting away for more vacation. Can't wait! We will be going down to coastal area here in Southern California. So gotta start getting prepared this week. Still have craft classes this week, too. linda- What a beautiful picture of you and your fur baby. I like the colors and patterns of your page.

Awww, Linda, so sweet that you scrapped you and Midnight. Love the papers you chose--a perfect match for your tshirt. Seems so early for school to start. But our kids were in class til the end of June, so I guess they have "earned" a break til the end of August. Have a beautiful mini vacation, kellyr21. What classes are you working on? Anything you can share? So glad to see your pages again, nylene. Looks like Cousin Camp was another roaring success! I managed a few pages last week. Dgs was NOT impressed that my scraproom, which he had cleaned before he left, was messed up again. But when he saw himself on a couple of pages, he thought it was probably worth it. Sorry I didn't make the crop, joyfulnana. By the time I tried to open the link, it was closed. Did you get any scrapping done? Or were you busy catching up with chat? I have the house to myself this morning, and it rained so won't be able to pick anything in the garden this morning. But I didn't go to be with a plan to scrap, so didn't wake up with any ideas. Still lots of pic's from July to play with, and heaven knows I have lots of options for scrappy materials. Just not sure where to start... Have a Wonderful Wednesday, pokeys!

grammadee - DD's summer break started in late May so...She's a little disappointed in her schedule but ultimately okay with it. She'll be taking AP US History, AP Pre-Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Language and Compostion, Welding, French 2 (online unfortunately) and Studio Art. She had wanted the honours English and pre-calculus not AP and would have preferred an in-person French class. She hadn't requested the art but is fine taking it especially since the other option would be PE I'm tackling organising and starting to scrap our epic road trip from summer 2017...such a big project. I have day one done and hope to make a dent in day two today. Have a wonderful Wednesday Pokies!

First I need to thank you all for the kind words on my Cousin Camp pages. They aren't art projects, but I consider them journal entries with a few photos. I finished all the photos I took. I get so involved in enjoying the kids that I forget to take photos so there are some things that had no photos. I did make a journal page of the other things we did. kitbop and joyfulnana , I can't tell you how much I enjoyed our online visit last week. I needed that. You are the sweetest people! grammadee , I will go to the gallery to enjoy all the pages I missed last month. I had to chuckle at your DGS's displeasure at your messing up the scraproom. That is just so sweet that he considers it his area too. Glad you can do some scrapping today instead of spending the day in the garden. Linda , your day meeting the train, a tour and school shopping makes my back ache! You must have such stamina. I am discouraged at how little energy I have since my fall. It doesn't take long to tire me out. I am trying to walk at least a mile each day to build up strength again.Have they taken French out of the school? Anj had to go to 2 other schools the last 2 years of high school in order to get advanced Japanese. I am with your DD on Art over PE! I love your scrapbook page. The papers couldn't be more perfect with your burgundy sweater and beautiful black cat. I love those stripes of black and the use of the tabs of each color. Great photo of the 2 of you. kellyr21 , how fun that you and Ron can get away together. I hope you have a wonderful and restful time. Will you actually get in the ocean, or just enjoy the beach area? We are getting away next week for DH's 60th Class Reunion. Since we went to the same H.S. I know most of those his age too. It's nothing like going to the beach, but it will be good to get away. We hope to go to the top of the mountain where we were lookouts right after we were married. Have you done any art you can share? What kind of classes do you have coming up? gramma , I was hoping you could hop on the crop. How are you doing? I have great empathy as you maneuver without a dominant hand. Did they have to do surgery on your hand? Sending lots of love and hugs as you heal. When it rains it pours! Let us know if you want to have an online crop. I need to have you walk me through setting one up. I have finished a couple more pages and I think they cover some of the LCDS challenges so I will post them on that thread later today. Sending hugs to all the Pokeys! BTW, I got a sweet letter from MARIBETHR . She is OK, just very busy and stepping back from doing challenges in her scrapping. I hope she will still post her Courthouse pages, but she may take a break. Hugs to you, MARIBETHR .

nylene - they still have a French teacher but there wasn't a French 2 class that fit in DD's schedule -most of the classes she's taking only have one session which made it hard to fit everything in. I'm glad that you've heard from MARIBETHR and that she's okay. I hope she comes back to posting when life gets less busy for her. Have fun at the reunion - DH and I went to the same high school also (I'm class of '88, he's '89) but neither of us have gone to any reunions. DD just gave me her photos from her trip...519 of them - and the flashdrive of photos from her sister...another 689 (some are from early in the summer)...that'll be a project

Lovely picture of you in your craft space with a fur baby Linda! Have a wonderful adventure kellyr21! nylene - thanks for the update on MARIBETHR - I'd been wondering where she got to as I planned this trip and thought of courthouses We are leaving tomorrow on a real adventure: we're doing 2 nights in Ithaca, 3 nights in Boston, 3 nights in NYC, then a night somewhere on the way home (Syracuse perhaps?) It will be action packed and we keep reminding each other that we can go slow too...we aren't trying to do too much...but the temptation is there! Since it's a road trip with just us 2, we can pack as much as we like I hope to check in a couple of times! If you have any "must do's" or places to stop en route between Toronto (going through Niagara Fall) and Boston and NYC, let me know!

Thanks kitbop -have a wonderful adventure! Safe travels DD16 went back to school this morning! We drove her (1st day tradition) but she'll take the bus from here on out. I'm going to check out a cardmakers summit today (it's a 4 day free thing) - might make some cards, we'll see. Sometimes I don't have the right types of supplies as I'm primarily a scrapbooker.

kitbop, it sounds like a great route you are taking. I hope you find the weather nice and that you and DH have a relaxing vacation. I look forward to seeing the photos you take. Linda, I had forgotten about that card summit. I will have to check it out. Hope DD has a marvelous first day.

Hope DD has a marvelous first day. Thank you - seems to be off to a good start from the messages I've gotten. She'll be home late because apparently Academic Team practise starts today so DH will pick her up after work. Might get to see DS next week for dinner -it's all very tentative still but I'm hoping.

Happy Friday! It's been a quiet day today. Relaxing before we prepare for vacation. I did see 3 of the Card Summit videos. I might watch more later. linda- So glad to hear your dd is doing well with new school year. I can't believe school is back already. This year is zooming by. nylene- So happy that you are feeling better and getting stronger to scrap and computer time. Yes, this week I had lots of classes. I even had a cooking class. They made peach pork chops. I only watched a little before I did some other things. I did get the recipe and it seems yummy. I did do a few sketches on Tuesday's class. Maybe I share a few of those. The other classes I just watched and or listened. On our trip, I hope to get to the beach. If not we'll be in the area. One of our favorite shopping malls has an ocean view. I hope it will be a clear day so I can see the spectacular scenery. Your reunion sounds so fun! Oh, I hope you get to see your mountain look out area, too. That is such a sweet memory. kitbop- What a great trip! Can't wait to hear about it.

kellyr21, I hope you have a great time on your vacation. The beach sounds so nice. I would love to see some of your sketches. I watched one Summit class but have been busy and haven't gotten back to them. Linda, Oh, I hope you will get to see DS. It's so hard having kids who live too far away to drop in.

kellyr21 - prayers for a clear day and good beach weather for you nylene - I'm hoping we'll be able to see him - it's looking positive right now. And DD22 is coming for a visit in October and may end up staying longer than originally planned which'll be nice.

Hello all - I hope everyone has been busy making memories today (or being creative). We spent the day in the city as DD16 had a party to attend and if we're going to drive in, we'll run all errands. But before we left, DH went to the flea market and came home with a find for me. He said the sets were only $1 a piece and he thought they looked useful. Wasn't that sweet of him?

Wow, Linda , you have a very resourceful husband. He is always finding great scrapbook finds for you. Congrats. I hope you have a great time with them. he certainly is - he loves flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales and the thrill of the hunt but he's also pretty observant about what types of things I use in my crafting. He's also the reason I have not one, not two, but three antique sewing machines...one treadle and 2 knee lever...and I suspect I'll end up with a hand crank one if he comes across a pretty one at a good price.

Good Morning pokeys! Oh wow grammadee I LOVE that page and that photo of you and justjac, and the layers and all of it! Safe travels and have fun kitbop, sounds exciting! Linda what a sweet DH! I can't believe DD is back in school already. kellyr21 I hope your getaway goes well! gramma, I hope you are healing from the crash, and doing ok, otherwise too. Thinking of you! Not a lot going on here. Football started, so I'm excited about that lol. Had that on in the background while I worked on a sample for Sketchtember. I was supposed to scrap with mom and my niece Saturday but that got cancelled so I spent time with DS2 instead lol. And now, here we are, it's Monday again already lol. Lots of storms yesterday, it rained all day and it was actually quite nice. It's been a long time since we've just had a good soaking rainy day. It was kind of a perfect Sunday. Waving Hi to everyone!

That photo of grammadee and justjac is so cute. I love the hats. You two are so lucky to have each other as scrapping buddies. joyfulnana, I'm sorry you missed your family cropping but glad you got to spend time with your son. I agree that the days seem to be moving faster. gramma, I'm hoping you are resting and healing. We miss you. Here is a page I worked on over the weekend. I should have been scrubbing floors, but I'm using the excuse that my fingers are still "buddied" together and are still a bit tender. Free Spirit
