Season Long Survivor Thread ** SPOILERS** after episode

     I tried to post this yesterday on my Iphone and it didn't take. So here I am back typing on my computer.  Here is what I was trying to say:  Exactly!  I can swim like a fish, and my favorite place to swim is in the ocean. I can also make fresh water just from a piece of plastic, a container like a bowl, a small weight and the sun.  It's called a solar still.  I would love to go on Survivor but if I go without eating for 2 days or without sleep for 2 days it's a migraine trigger for me, and that migraine can last for days without medical intervention-even with Pharma drugs it means I'm out for a day at least. I know this. It's my problem and my cross to bear. I've had migraines for 44 years now. They've gotten a lot better. 5 years ago I was getting 25 migraines a month. Now I'm down to 1 a month using medical marijuana every day-but I don't think they'd let me on Survivor smoking a joint every day for migraine prevention 

No one is perfectly 100% healthy all of the time. We all have something we deal with. For Liz it's her numerous food allergies. She decided it was worth it to her to risk the pain of the hunger and physical wasting of her body she knew she'd undergo for the weeks she'd be on the show. Her choice. That doesn't mean everyone else on the show has to lean over backwards to accommodate her. Yes, I believe in compassion and empathy towards others. But it also has to go both ways. From what little we've seen of Liz she hasn't exactly treated her fellow teammates with a lot of compassion and empathy. She has been abrasive, condescending, and rude. You reap what you sow. Q didn't owe her a darn thing. Her outburst was bordering on a verbal assault in my opinion. Yeah, she's hungry and it makes your emotions all over the place. I get it. But that was out of line.

Q: “What chain restaurant hits so much it would cause you to have a Liz level meltdown?”

A: “If I was out there and denied of Red Lobster’s cheddar baked biscuits my reaction would make Liz look like Mother Theresa”.

"Maybe it was because I was baked but I could not stop laughing throughout the entire Liz food bit.

The entire challenge starting with her gushing grannies about Applebees. The fake out with her almost winning it on the first throw. It’s a perfect setup for the multiple minutes long Saturday night live sketch that takes place.

It just got funnier every time he didn’t choose Liz. Qs nonchalantness about not choosing her every time was the perfect accentuation of the entire situation. I thought he was only going to be able to bring 2 people AND THEN for him to be able to bring one more, LIZ begging to be taken, him making it seem like he’s going to take her only for that coveted BUT to come out his mouth. The Liz outburst at the end was the bow this needed to become an all time survivor moment for me."

It was kinda funny he was allowed to take THREE people and he kept not picking her.

Ok I need to put myself to sleep. I keep laughing like a jackass while reading all of this!

I wonder if this is a record for consecutive people to go home with an idol. Why won't they play it? Venus's name has been written down every single vote. She has been kept out of the loop multiple times. Duh!

I think Maria made a huge mistake taking Q to the reward.

Charlie is playing a great game right now. I can't believe no one is mentioning him as the biggest threat.

I understand the players wanting to get Q out, but the smart players will keep him in and take him to the end.

Has ANYONE actually used their idol this season? Have so many idols gone "home in a pocket" before? Can you imagine a finale with Q, Liz, and Ben? Wouldn't have imagined it at the beginning, but at this stage, it could happen.

Maria messed up with her picks and saying she wanted the people who needed food the most to go. Just say you didn't want to hang out with Venus and Liz!

Venus messed up when she mentioned the advantage to Charlie. His radar went off, especially when she wouldn't share what it was. I think if she had kept her mouth shut, Q might have actually gone home.

I'm thinking Q is fair game to be a goat - Liz too. Only 2 episodes left!

They didn't show it, but that doesn't mean they didn't look. I don't know that they fully believed Hunter had an idol, since I don't know if he showed it to anyone.

Tiff's was also a beware advantage idol, as was Randen's clue. They replaced Randen's beware advantage after he was medically removed from the game, which is when Hunter found it.

I read an interview with Venus, and she said it was over 10 minutes standing in the hot sun after the challenge. 👎

Just wondering why Charlie has the number 22 on the top of his hand. I just noticed it.

Another idol gone home in a pocket. Whew! I thought by showing more than one vote early they were building up to it being played.

I think it was both!

SAME!! I couldn't believe they showed us all the votes!

The moment Maria realized she is not in charge. I would love Maria and Charlie to be in the finals so it is an actual interesting vote. They both have a good case for why they should win.

Liz and Ben won't get a vote. Kenzie might get some votes.

4 in a row with an idol in the pocket. Maria definitely can't read the room when told Q not to play the idol, he was safe. Interesting to see what happens with Maria and Charlie next week.
