I believe it's $100,000 and then $85,000. Everyone gets some money for appearing on the show.

I've read Dalton's interviews with most of the final 5 (the interview with Liz wasn't posted last time I checked).

Ben said the jury was hostile to him, and he was shocked by Maria's vote.

Based on things Venus said previously, Ponderosa was not very pleasant. I wonder if that impacted the jury. I wish they would air Ponderosa stuff - that's what Paramount + is made for!

I wonder what Maria's kids think about her vote. In her interview with Dalton, she kept going on about how the money would help Kenzie start a family. You can start a family for a lot less than $1 million! 🙄 I wonder if Maria's "parent coaching" business is going to suffer?

I read where Charlie said he is so over Maria and her excuses, he said everytime she speaks to him, text him she has a different reason for why she didn't vote for him. He says she keeps apologizing and then later tells him she stands behind her decision. It sounds like in the interview he doesn't have much to do with her.
He should have won.

Wanted to add that Parade has a good story on interviewing Charlie that I just read and he goes into detail with his relationship with Maria and what has happened over the past year with them and what has happened the past couple of days with her.

I wanted Charlie or Kenzie to win all along so I am happy. They both were getting winners edits through this game so it was pretty obvious. In the end I wanted Kenzie but damn, Charlie got robbed. And wtf, Maria!? For her not to vote her number 1 all along was such sour grapes. And Liz?? How embarrassing for her to think she would win. I mean what? I would have been shocked if she got even one vote.

Agreed. The winner is the winner and the jury takes control in the vote. But IMO, Charlie was really done dirty by Maria. Not because she didn’t vote for him, but because of all of her excuses, half lies, and stringing him along even after the vote. Just own it—say that you found Kenzie’s gameplay more compelling and that’s why you voted for her. That’s it; just simple honesty. There’s no reason to lie now. 

Maria changed her vote because she was bitter.


I was shocked when she took Q to the reward after giving an explanation how she was rationalizing who was in the most physical need of eating. (Not that she had to base her decision on that, but it's what she said. And then she chose the complete opposite of that!)
I was shocked by her over the top reaction of disappointment when she did not get to participate in the reward that included letters from loved ones. A
I was shocked by her vote against Charlie.
And then at the finale it hit me, that woman showed us who she really is in all of those shown those moments and I had let editing change my perception. I think I was choosing to see her differently due to the arc of the editing which showed her relationship and (supposed) loyalty to Charlie. But in the end I realized that she is who she is and I am not a fan.

Liz. Oh, Liz. I am going to have to try to find an interview where someone asks her if she still thinks she played a strong game after watching it back because I need to understand what made believe she was a strong player. She was delusional. And her hissy fits were idiotic. Girl, you went out there knowing you could not eat. It is not everyone else's responsibility to take you on reward challenges to keep you comfortable as you coast along and whine about being hungry. If she wanted the reward so badly maybe she should've played harder and won.

Maybe Ben played a better game than what was shown by the editing but IMO his game was weak and his actual game play barely existed.

Q changed his vote because of what Kenzie was going to do with the money ( boy, he's something...). The vote was for how you played the game not the future. That vote irked me.

I'm fine that Kenzie won but I still think it should have been Charlie.

Also, what do they do in the finale if there is a tie?
