I’m going to try… the computer with my photos and die cut machine attached to it broke on Wednesday (DH is a computer geek and is working on fixing it but has no idea when it will be done) so I’ll only be able to use sticker titles, and photos that are already printed… I actually had just ordered photos before the computer died that are in the mail. I’m trying to get motivated to scrap off-the-grid… maybe I’ll dig out my Cricut Baby Bug and really go old school

This weekend April 5th through 8th is DOUBLE POINTS for everything you do - crafting time, challenges, etc... An excellent opportunity to get some extra points. Thanks for the reminder! I was hoping to get a heap done, but I spent all day on Friday lying in bed or on the couch, with no energy to do anything thanks to COVID. I'm feeling better today (Saturday), so I hope to get started on some pages.

I hope to. I finished up a page last night and have another one in progress already. DH is heading out for the day so I'll have the house to myself, and think I'll spend a good chunk of this afternoon in my scrap space.

Chinagirl828 - that's awesome! I did some layouts this evening and hope to get another one done in the morning before heading out for errands.

I have to do some clean up before I can scrap again, that's on the list, and then maybe this evening I can work of something. I'm also trying to decide if I want to join in on the SG crop for iNSD. I have an out of town wedding that weekend, but I may take Thursday and Friday off work to join in during the first two days. breetheflea I only recently let my baby bug go and sometimes I regret that. It's the perfect size for what I need and it is so easy to use. I can't say the same now that I'm forced to use design space. Using the cartridges is less hassle imo. AussieMeg I hope you feel much better soon!

Join! Join! Join! So who is scrapping this weekend and who is out making memories? I did some scrapping this morning and then spent the day doing errands.

I can't say the same now that I'm forced to use design space. Using the cartridges is less hassle imo. I have thought about giving it away but there are two cartridges my Silhouette doesn’t have anything similar: a font and a Hello Kitty cartridge (and I don’t even like Hello Kitty) so it’s still here… Of course now that I got it out and dusted it off, I can’t find the cord… So far this weekend, I finished up four or so pages that just needed journaling, and organized my space, and put a ton of layouts away. DH shipped my broken computer part back to the manufacturer yesterday (it’s under warranty) so progress on the lack of computer issue and my photo order arrived. Everyone I live with went fishing so I have time to play this morning!

Happy Sunday everyone!
I found some scrappy goodies at a thrift store yesterday and picked up two 25pks of paper (the ones with one design each) at Ollies yesterday.
We're about to head out but I did make 7 cards this morning from a small 6x6 Studio G paper pack I got at the thrift store yesterday.
Might get a page done this evening but we'll see
Have a wonderful day Paper Posse!

@homeschoomum I never pegged you for an enabler I'm easily enabled, so I joined lol. I'm straightening up my space right now and then hope to get something finished today.

I was out of town for the last few days and there is little to no crafting time this week. I do need to put together a sample page for a scrapbooking class I’m teaching to high schoolers. But nothing for my own personal things.

Been packing up DS18's room the last few days, he is not returning home by is own decision. I am heart broken.
My foil machine arrived, and the new foils and a die arrived today. But emotionally energy is just not there.
Looking forward to my Altenew Secret Garden class package, seems they are shipping. Have homework for that so we'll see.
Thanks for the hugs everyone!

Did anyone watch the eclipse yesterday? Our area only had a partial - about 66% - but I put a camp chair outside, grabbed my book and my eclipse glasses and spend a couple of hours out there watching it start, peak, and end. joyfulnana -I'm not really much of an enabler, that's true. But the SG crop is really such a good value. boymom5 - sorry you've been too busy for scrappy time. That's awesome that you're teaching scrapping to students though - got to hook the younger generations. angel97701 - I'm sorry that your family troubles continue. I hope the Secret Garden class helps lift your spirits

Another morning and off to a doctors appointment. Dh is somewhere in MT, will be home tomorrow.
Now that I have my craft room a little more organized with the last move (first two weeks of March) I think I will try some card making. Time to learn how to use the foil machine. Have watched a ton of how to and hack videos, so we shall see what I come up with.
Hugs

We had only 20% eclipse here, and it was cloudy and rainy all day... We were at 95% or so percent in 2017, so I just reminisced about that instead.

Total clouds in Northern Minnesota so no eclipse for us partial or otherwise. We did get to see total eclipse in Oregon in 2017, incredible!
Couldn't sleep so did the final vacuum, dust, scrub walls of DS18 room. Seriously thinking about re-homing the cat we inherited from the grandparents when we all made the move. He is a lovely cat, but his person is now gone. DS was the reason I kept MIL from taking him to the Human Society. My cat Coconut and Tigger have never gotten along since we took him in. If we don't keep them separate we have fights and marking. In fact the basement carpet will most likey need to be replaced in our new home due to this issue. I'm just done. I don't have the time to give him the affection he needs and it's not fair that he is locked in one room most of the time.
Once I finish chores before DH arrives with the next moving load I plan to actually craft! Wish me luck . . . I've been procrastinating!

Good morning everyone.
I'm working on taxes and then seeing DD17 off to the state academic team competition so no crafty time right now. Hoping to hop on the crop tomorrow though.

Between 9:30 and 12:30 I have the house entirely to myself today (the work-from-home DH had to go into the office, kids at school) so I plan on blasting my audiobook and scrapping for at least part of that time

If anyone is around today mom is hosting an online crop this morning and again this afternoon - if can join in, you get extra points for crafting with others. Her thread is on the main scrapbook board.

OH, so fun to be able to go to online crops again! Today I prepped for my Altenew Secret Garden retreat coming in May. Great to get my mind off of the nasty stuff going on in my life. So last night I went to play with my new Gemini FoilPress and figured out with the full size Gemini I needed an adapter. So no foiling practice for me off to amazon to place a new order.
Went to the storage building and seperated out my craft supplies that have not made it to the house. SOOOOOOO much stuff! Going to destash and donate before some of it comes to the new house. DH promised I would have storage shelves in the garage, but a bit concerned about summer heat now and the tons of photos I still have printed for all the years I did double prints as Costco. Tons of work ahead of me. My craft room in Oregon was twice the size of what I have now, but my lake view is to die for!
DS18 has declined to come home, but was texting me like crazy today. He did not go to his genetic medical test review today. Can't make him go as he is "an adult" with the understanding of a 9 year old.
At least DH is home and is supportive. IBS-D is still in full flare mode. Sleeping is still a huge issue. Praying for some relief soon. Thankful for all that are supporting me and our family in this trying time.

I enjoyed the online crops as well -it's so nice of mom to host them. angel97701 - sounds like a big sorting and destashing project ahead of you - it'll be nice when you have all the things that you want to keep inside and accessible for crafting. And yes, that's a beautiful lake view

Yeah, happy mail! About time to go and try it out. The extender plate for my Gemini FoilPress arrived from Amazon and now I get to learn how to hot foil!
DH and I took his close friend to the airport so he could fly back for his corporate pilot gig. The a few errands. Home for lunch, and fatigue caught up, so nap it was. Light dinner, and now time to craft a little.

I’m slowly working through reorganizing my craft room. It’s been a disaster since this beginning of this semester. Plus getting some new goodies (the big shot is huge! Where can I store that thing!?!) made me realize I need to reorganize again. Times just not on my side. Since I’m doing Crop and Create in a couple of weeks I want it ready for then. Since I have to take DS to a bday party further away my little guy and I are going to grab lunch out and see if we can find some things to make the room slightly easier to store things. I think j need to find a cabinet to store albums in outside of that room to make more real estate for supplies and tools.

boymom5 Hear you on the storage issue . . . in my move I drastically downsized my room and storage space. Trying to figure out how much and what to destash . . . and DH promised shelves in the garage which have not happened yet. But all in good time. Last big load in a Penske truck last Wednesday, after DH drove to and from Oregon. It's been a super long process. Good news, though we signed our portion of the closing papers today. Soon down to one house payment! YEAH!

angel97701 - yay for the foiling stuff - have fun! Congratulations on signing the closing papers - the end of process is in sight finally, right? boymom5 - Good luck with the re-organising. Have you checked out the craft organising thread on the main scrapbook board? Big news today - DD17 and her team WON the Division III state championship for Academic Team! So proud of her.

Sorry if it seems as if I have been a bit AWOL, is just been so busy here lately! Starting with Easter , a close “adopted” son’s (my son’s best friend) little girl’s first birthday, eclipse chasing, and working on getting the new garden bed up and going , I really have done much but just check in here and there! I have done some crafts and working on the sketch for Sketchy Saturday next week. And the never ending chore of organizing the craft and sewing rooms! I still need to go and read thi whole thread and catch up on everyone and everything!
