Thank you grammadee - switching gears away from Christmas for now but still working on 2013 photos and loving the trip down memory lane This one is a PageMaps sketch, Paper Studio paper pad and pink alphas, I think the green were from the $tree This one is from the Spring/Summer SCT sketches that grammadee linked to recently I believe. Fireworks PP is old Doodlebug I think, dots PP might be DCVW. Loads of die cut flowers and butterflies - dies are probably Spellbinders and/or Momenta. Alphas are Francis Meyer and super old.

Linda lovely pages! I love the border of die cuts, that’s a fun idea. And I like that woodsy paper you used on the deer layout. I have deer photos to scrap too. Gosh you get a lot done! You must be a speedy scrapper! I feel like it takes me forever to do one page. And since I lost much of the sight in my right eye in March, I think I’m even slower now. I didn’t think about it affecting my scrapbooking, but I’m still getting used to it I guess. grammadee I love the feeling of action on this baseball layout. Great photos and I like that you got so many on there!

Thank you beachy -I do scrap relatively fast although that last layout took longer than usual with all the die cuts. But I also have more free time TO scrap than many do. Sympathies for the eyesight issues - I have very little vision in my left eye but that's been a thing for a very long time for me so not something I've had to adjust to. I suspect it does impact your scrapbooking especially while you're still adjusting. (((Hugs)))

This is the last page of my 2009 album. I used one of the sketches in the sketch gallery. That’s a great resource. I even used an old rub-on and it worked! I have no idea who made it but it’s got to be super old. IMG_0366 by Beachy, on Flickr

6 April Sketchy Saturday - Echo Park Fish are Friends 6x6 pad and a sticker from EP Mermaid collection. Pinkfresh enamel dots - I used Pages by Design templates for the rings Page Maps sketch. I used Pages by Designs templates for the border and the file folder - I'm trying to use all my different tools this month that I often don't pull out.

Very simple for the portrait album - decided since my youngest is getting Senior Yearbook photos tomorrow, it was long overdue time to scrap her sister's. SCrapbook Generations PP And then a memorabilia page using Photo Play Notting Hill Bookstore

I sat down to finish some postage themed cards and got distracted by some old butterfly experiments. I decided to push myself to finish this one because done really is better than perfect. Yeeeears ago I had stamped and embossed the butterfly on dark blue paper (and then perhaps bleached it? or that might've been a different version). Definitely added some metallic watercolors to it. Didn't love it and didn't know what to do with it. Fast forward to yesterday when I fussy cut it and decided to cut a teal leaf frame and put it on a metallic background. I think I love the idea of this stamp more than the reality of crafting with it, but I keep trying anyway. July share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

That turned out really pretty joblackford - the teal is a good background for the blue

This one is definitely out of my comfort zone - for Shimelle's Use Your Stickers class. Photoplay Meow for most of the stickers and all of the PP This one finishes up Shimelle's Use Your Stickers class for me. Paper Studio and Recollections PP, the stickers and die cuts etc... are a random mix

Linda I really love that grid design page for the Shimelle sticker class!! Those types of layouts are always outside my comfort zone too, but then they often end up being some of my favourite fun pages to make.

This page is for the 'Get Sketchy' team challenge. The challenge is to visit the new 2 Peas Flickr sketch gallery, and choose a sketch from there to use. This sketch was originally from 28-4-28 Day 25 in 2023. I can't believe I did a whole page about bringing in the rubbish bins haha!

Sharing most of the cards I made with an unusual paper pad I got in the round robin swap (it was 5.5x8.5" from Waffle Flower, 12 sheet sample pack). I got some matching postage stamp dies to cut the elements out because the postage theme is trendy, I love it, and I was feeling left out, lol. These used large postage elements in the pad cut with the dies: July share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I had to get creative with some of the smaller elements: July share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These are loosely July Sheetload inspired: July share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I have 2 more to finish off and share later.

I really wish we had more collections like this nowadays - a versatile colour scheme, stripes, dots, flowers, words, numbers -not themed, not gendered? I totally agree with you. I still have lots of KI Memories and Chatterbox in my stash, and the KI Memories especially is a favourite of mine. I love you used it Linda!

Thank you infochick This one is for Shimelles Punch class - I used CB Home Again and punched circles from vellum. If I were to do it over (I'm not), I would either not use vellum or ink the edges as the circles are a little too subtle, I think. a second attempt at the Shimelle class layout - using Basic Grey

This one is also from the punches class - PP is Paper Studio - alphas and enamel dots are pinkfresh And this is also from the punches classes - from a make your own background prompt. I used two identical sheets of PP and punched one and then inked and placed on the other. It's not perfect - perhaps plaid wasn't the best choice - but I rather like it anyway

Time for me to start leaving some LOVE! Starting at the top of page 2... Linda, I love the pages with your dds' outfits. Those paper choices were PERFECT for Tacky Day and Nerd Day. Love the bright happy colours and images. I have never been able to figure out what "tacky" means, but suspecting it is all the stuff I might think is nice? you are doing such a great job using all those old scrappy supplies. I love the surprise of using flower clusters instead of stars with the stripes for the Memorial Day page. You did a great job adapting those sketches and using those circles and rings in your mermaid and airplane pages. And, of course, each has exactly the right themed images in exactly the right balance with your photo. You say your heritage pages are "super simple", but that does not take into account all the research and typing out of the family stories that go on them. I love the background papers you chose. Again, perfect paper choices for your Class of 2018 (the background really gives off a prom vibe) and Library (love the BOOKS!) pages. I love how you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and try new things for your Shimelle pages. Cutting photos into circles might be hard for you, but for this page it was the perfect thing to do. Love your pp circles, too. And I love the sticker clusters on the sunflower page. I know you are most comfortable with clean and simple pages, but love all the layers on your Belle page. I hope to LIFT that one! That map pp is perfect for the riding trail page. The photos with the people in the box are a hoot! Love how you set them onto a page with a more formal look: cool sense of humour. That photo of everyone piled on the couch for Summer tells me you have AC. No one snuggling up around here the last couple of days LOL. Love how your papers mimic blankets. Another page you may see a lift of is that pretty pink flower page: LOVE that hexagon border strip behind the photo! beachy I think I left love somewhere for your Guelf page. Love the way your night time pic's show up against your background. My next stop this morning will be over to Flickr to leave love for your cards, joblackford and AussieMeg. Gotta go! Will finish later...
