grammadee and gramma , you should have both been there. LOL. I could have used the backup! Still no trace of my files being "hand entered" into my account. I don't think they will ever get their mess straightened out. I mean really I can hear you - - Did your mama raise you that way?
Your gramma would be ashamed of you!!
Why would you cheat a frail, elderly, old lady this way?
Shucky darns, I'm just so disappointed in you! {Accompanied by a foot stomp}
Love you Nylene!!

I hope all our American Peas had a great 4th of July. I have had a lovely crafty week. I made the new Sheetload, I’ve started attaching some of my knit puzzle pieces for my afghan, I did daily pages, and I finally put pictures in the pocket pages from that class I signed up for. I’m looking forward to seeing grammadee and her DGS next week for the parade here in my city. kellyr21 we have couple of smaller trips planned. In 10 days we’re off for an 8 hour drive to a family reunion on my mom’s side. It’s at a lake so we booked a cabin for a few extra days to get the most out of our visit. Then at the end of July it’s our tenth anniversary so we are going to the next city over to stay in a nice hotel for the weekend. nylene good for you for standing up for yourself with Silhouette. I struggle doing that kind of thing. I love your food page. Linda your cards are great! I hope to see some of you tonight.

I edited the above post. I realized our game had a few cards that are on the risqué side. Then I accidentally removed my sheetload pic when I was trying to remove the other picture.

justjac , I love your pocket pages. All the extra fun cards make this really shine. Love the tacks, the markers, the typewriter, the glasses, all the cute things you have added. Especially love the photos of you and DH. That's so much work! I love your SLOC cards. The addition of the charms takes them to the next layer. Great idea to start Christmas cards now! I will miss you all at the crop tonight. Heading for St George in a few minutes.

It was great visiting with you ladies for a bit. Dh did need some help out there, and apparently, the dog needed to have me kick the ball for her around the yard... Thanks, justjac. SB.com had only ONE of the baseball collections left and I snagged it! (with a few other items that were also on sale) gramma, I will check out Etsy for the printable pp. Thanks for suggesting that.

Yay grammadee for snagging that collection! Now you have no excuse to not scrap those photos lol. It was so good to see so many of you! kitbop called me out about adding some challenges, so I added a couple. Most of the ones I would want are already there. AussieMeg already has a pocket card challenge to DIY or alter one. nylene good for you causing a ruckus at Silhouette. I would be stopping by there every time I could until they fix this. I hope you had a safe trip to St. George and aren't doing too much with your shoulder. Linda wonderful Christmas pages! You are crushing it this year! I've spent quite a lot of time this weekend just out and about doing errands, going to the pet store where I can't come home without a new toy or bed or something for Abby lol. Today I'm hanging with DS2 later, and I still want to make it to the 'hippy store" that I have a GC to. justjac I love seeing your pocket pages, what class are you taking? Are you still part of the Awesome Ladies? I finished my Feb PL spread and got a good start on March.

joyfulnana - thanks for hosting last night! Good job adding challenges! And thank you - I'm either in the mood for Christmas pages or not so hoping I can keep at it and get a bit more caught up. Yeah we did errands yesterday morning since DH was off -groceries and then Walmart for a spaghetti strapped tank top for DD17 to wear for senior photos - she is NOT the spaghetti strap type and isn't the least bit happy about the yearbook photo 'drape'. I actually thought she would make a fuss about wanting the tux drape instead but so far she hasn't. She IS planning on wearing a suit for her 2nd pose. I can't believe she's already a senior. Her photo session is Wednesday and then she flies out on Thursday for her 10 days on the Boundary Waters. Not sure our plans for today - we're under a heat advisory again? still? so indoor plans I hope. I did print off some sketches so hope to get some scrappy time in. I know DD asked me to help her with her room.

Again, it was great chatting with you industrious ladies. Funny that the only time I joined in thinking I would actually scrap, the farthest I got was deciding I needed to put OFF scrapping those pic's. Seems like maybe dgs is not the only one around here with attention problems justjac I love all your pocket pages. So many cool little details on the cards. Great details in the journaling make these books fun to go through. That lilac page you showed us was gorgeous. So cool that the paper worked so perfectly for that Allison sketch! Linda, your Christmas pages are gorgeous: the colours are delightfully rich and the photos are a wonderful record of your family celebrations. Too funny, joyfulnana, that you pick up toys for Abby whenever you are at the pet store. And obviously she is playing with them and you are enjoying watching her or you wouldn't be buying more.

joyfulnana - best toy we got our cat was the dog Linda - congrats on the attack on Christmas! I am NOT in that headspace at present. I actually recoiled when I saw folders of Christmas pictures yesterday (while searching for my still missing envelope...) justjac - great pocket pages! I don't photograph mine because I get too much plastic reflection. Do you have a secret? You are using the same collection Shimelle is using in hers, and I find myself "needing" it more and more. Sigh. grammadee - yay you got the last pack of paper! I really loved that one colourful page you showed us, so I approve of your purchase. I'm sure you were waiting to hear that we approved 1 day of work-weekend done. I can't believe 1 week today we fly to England. I've never been overseas. Yikes.

Thanks kitbop - I'm so excited for you - you're going to have a wonderful time! What airline are you flying? Another layout done - one more to go to finish Dec 2013...I played with mixed media for a background and am waiting for it to dry to see if it'll work.

I'm sure you were waiting to hear that we approved I have the sense that it was more than approved. Kinda like enabled LOL. When you have three other people looking up exactly where you can purchase a collection it's kinda hard not to go through with the purchase . Can't believe I did not see it on SB.com, cuz I had searched everywhere about a month ago, and the only place it was available was the manufacturer and I needed to log in as a retailer.

Are you calling the Pokey Peas enablers grammadee? no way! One last layout for me tonight. I was hoping to get a little more done but DS called right after dinner and we had a lovely long chat while he packed for his next (short) detachment. It looks like the long one is on hold but that he's still likely not to be available in October for our trip.

I still have some scraps of that old pp. That is *old*. I can't even remember the name of the company. That's not SEI is it? A-somethingorother? (LOL my brain keeps saying AZCrafty but she's a pea!) Looks fabulous.

Exciting times, kitbop! Hoping all goes fantastically with your trip! Our grandniece (aged 20) is flying to Dubrovnik in a week for a Ukrainian dance troupe tour. This is her first overseas flight, and she is nervous, but all arrangements have been made by the troupe organizers and they are all traveling together. Linda, I keep hoping I will get back to the Sharing thread soon to take a closer look at your lovely pages. That mixed media is--of course--PERFECT for that story! Love it! Okay, back to housework I have put off way too long...

Good Monday morning, Pokeys! So much scrappy goodness already! justjac, I love your pocket pages. That game was fun, even if it was a little difficult for an old woman like me to read some of the cards aloud! And Linda, there is love for your pages in the sharing thread, when I can keep up LOL. nylene, I hope your trip went smoothly, and that you got some peace and joy from visiting with family, even while you are experiencing loss. kellyr21, our garden is doing terribly. It was too cool when it was getting started, and now it is super hot and dry. Dh has been watering, but with the drought, he is worried about running the well low, so is rationing how often he runs the sprinklers. I have been watering some of it by hand, but that is never the same as a good rain. I plan to dig the first new potatoes today, though. My mouth is watering already, just thinking of them. I am in the middle of getting the house ready for other people to stay here, one little job at a time. Managed to bleach out the garage fridge, have done some pitching of stuff from the kitchen one to allow me to clean it properly. Made a start on the upstairs bedrooms, washing bedding, vacuuming screens. Ds is planning to arrive on the 15th with his family. Then another ddil plans to arrive Wednesday the 17th with her boys if she can get away. In between cleaning bouts, I have managed to cobble together a baseball LO using some of the elements I have, along with a printed background sheet I picked up from Etsy after gramma pointed me there. Same photos I had out the other night. The boy featured in them will probably be here for a few days at the end of the month, and I wanted to get his pages done before his arrival. Will pop that in here once I get the photo edited and uploaded to Flickr. Tomorrow I plan to be cleaning the basement. Dsil plans to be dropping off their holiday trailer here that day. Dgs plans to be raiding my recyclables to take into the bottle depot in town for cash. I told him he can keep the money if he also helps with the basement clean. You get help where you can LOL. Wednesday I plan to join justjac for our traditional parade watching. Haven't confirmed with dgs's parents if he will be coming with me or not. To bring back a little MARIBETHR alliteration, I hope you all have a Marvelous Monday!
