Thank you nylene - I'm really enjoying the daytime crops but at some point I'll need to do a deep dive into housework, lol. I LOVE your baby brother layout - all those little boy details! So cute! And such good news about your shoulder! I hope PT goes well - and don't forget to speak up if it's not feeling right! Here's this afternoon's layouts I'm not very happy with that last one - the colours in the layering just aren't working together as well as I would have liked even though they are all good matches for the background paper's circles. And I've thrown away that alphabet sheet - the letters were almost impossible to remove

Happy Election day! at least I hope it's going to be a happy day lol. I"m very glad this is almost over. The lines weren't bad at all. I was there at 6:30 AM though lol. Cody's Internet has been down for several days and Rudy is hanging here because he's crazy with boredom lol. We got pizza and watched the results here until Rudy had to go home and go to bed lol. Linda and grammadee both make me feel like a slacker nylene lol. Linda so many wonderful pages! They are each so pretty, and your clusters are great! I'm enjoying all the kitty pages nylene those photos are precious, and I just love that little dresser lol. Good for you ignoring housework! And wonderful news about your shoulder! yay! Yay kitbop ! What a relief about the house! Thinking of you grammaI hope everyone has a stress free week ahead. Hardy har har lol. I started this post a couple of hours ago lol. This is stressing me out so much. I think I'm going to have to shut it off and go to bed and hope for the best. I felt so hopeful, and I'm not feeling that way right now. I knew I should have shut it off when all of my people were way ahead and enjoyed the rest of the evening lol.

I’m devastated. I sure hope all the people that voted for him saying “he won’t really do what he’s saying’ are right. But I’m not holding out hope.

Good morning/afternoon, Pokeys. How is the end of the week treating you? Had dgs here for a sleepover, then off to school with Grampa who had an appointment in town this morning. I was thinking I would have a fantasy morning, house to myself, pages flying together... Not so much. After a couple of phone calls interupting me, my focus was gone. Probably off playing with my MOJO somewhere... I did manage to cobble together a couple of pages... This first one has been sitting on my scrap counter for a few days already, waiting for inspiration. I needed it finished so I can take my calendar pages in to the printer. Deadlines may work for routine tasks, but for creativity? Not so much. But this morning I found the riveted metal pp in my stash and that gave me a push to finish this one. November '25 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I then forced myself to go through my family photos to put together a collage on Word to use for the calendar cover, and used that collage on a page. Not inspired. But done... Family calendar '25 cover by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Tomorrow morning I plan to drive to the next nearest town to drop off the tub with all my 2025 calendar pages for printing. Maybe things are looking up. While cleaning up my morning's mess, I emptied the last tote from the crop, pulled out the last page kits with the photos and they are now sitting on my cleared counter. Hoping that will give me a kick start next time I have some crafty time.

Linda, like you, I watched the election returns until it looked like all hope was gone and then went to bed and didn't sleep. Apparently in the night I was really grinding my teeth because they ached and I could hardly chew all day. Wearing my appliance helped and today they are just a little tender. Beautiful pages you have finished. I love your kitty and zoo pages and am always fascinated to see new games you all play that I have never heard of. DH doesn't enjoy games, so we have very few. I love, love, love your scrap room page. I wish mine looked so neat and organized. That's a great page. Also love the page about your DH. Sweet tribute to him. You are really on a page roll! I love it. grammadee, I will get over to the gallery and leave some love on your Nov and cover pages. That's a big project and you'll be glad it's not going into the Christmas season. You do such a great job on your calendar pages. I'm sure your family loves them. Glad you have everything unpacked and ready to scrap, scrap scrap! I loved my first day of PT. They started me on the same exercises I have been doing right up until surgery. I was surprised how easy they seemed. The therapist came over and said he was watching me doing the pulley and it looked like it was effortless. It WAS effortless. I had only 2 little twinges of pain the entire hour. He is really happy with my progress. My range of motion is huge, so in a few weeks we will start strengthening exercises. I am very encouraged. We had Card Club this a.m. and there was a mix-up on who was teaching. We ended up making 3 cards; a shaker and 2 bobble head Christmas cards. It was fun getting together!

Hey Pokeys. Enjoy your lasagna and family time grammadee. nylene I'm so happy to hear about your PT going well. Sending virtual hugs to all who need them. I told myself to stay off social media, but then I didn't. My Facebook is not bad, but Instagram and TikTok had me pondering worst case scenarios. I will stay off for while, except for crafty pages (or I'll try.) I'm heading out on Saturday to visit at my aunt's for the weekend. My mom is already there and my sister will meet me there. I plan to come home Monday and then enjoy the last day of my four day weekend Tuesday relaxing at home.

Happy Friday! Waving hi to all you gals! I had a nice day today and dh was off early today and off Monday. So we hope to have a nice weekend. Yes, kitbop and nylene, Yes, your imagine is right! LOL! I do stroll around especially when I am taking my walks. And yes, I must admit, there are a few palm trees around, too. LOL! I know we have it good compared to many other places. That's why I hate to complain about the Summers. It's just I am spoiled to be able to be outside anytime. So when hot Summer comes and I can only be out in the evening I get frustrated and can't stroll around whenever I want. LOL! But today, I enjoyed being out when I wanted to. nylene- WOO YOOOOOO! SO thrilled to hear your PT went well and you only had minor pain! Thank God! You have been through it girl and I hope the rest of the year is a wonderful joyful time for you and your family. You deserve it!!! kitbop- Our city does have public tennis courts and the one we go to is very well kept up and clean. They do a good job at all our public parks keeping them clean and nice. We hope to get back over there this weekend. Last weekend there were quite a few people there having a ball.

Good Morning Pokeys. grammadee I'll bet lasagna night was a blast, and I would be exhausted lol. Did I see that you have all of your calendar pages done? Congratulations on that! gramma I'm thinking of you and hope you'll check in. nylene the improvement is your shoulder is so great! I'm so happy about that. @homechoolmum I love how much you are scrapping and that your family encourages it. That's so awesome. justjac have a great weekend! kellyr21 I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get to stroll to your hearts content I've got to get some knitting done. But the only way that can happen is to lock Bess out. And I feel bad about that but man lol. I was supposed to go visit and scrap with mom and my niece, but mom isn't feeling well. (has a UTI) So it looks like I get to do the chores and shopping that I haven't done since Tuesday. I'm pretty alright with that. Hopefully this will free up the evening for something fun. (not sure what yet lol) And I'm sure I'll have lots more time for things I enjoy now that I'm not longer doomscrolling for hours a day. All social media is gone or deactivated and I'm avoiding the internet whenever possible. And now I'm going to get my arse off of here and get this day going. I spend so much time lolling around on the weekend mornings lol.

Good Saturday morning, Pokeys! Safe travels, justjac! I love how your family is so close. Too funny about Bess, joyfulnana. There are days it seems like Charley wants to either throw me downstairs or love me to death. I am thinking Cat Ladies have to stay young and on their toes, or they will die before their time. Have a lovely long weekend, kellyr21. Sounds like you are having the perfect weather for strolling or playing tennis, or whatever you would like to do outside. It has warmed up again here, not freezing over the last few nights. Pretty blah and bleak out there, though, now that the leaves are all on the ground. One of the next scrappy projects I hope to get to is scrapping some of the pic's I took while all the colours were on full display. Glad your shoulder is progressing so well and that PT went so well, nylene. Your bravery in going back for the second surgery has paid off. I need to get back to the Gallery and leave some love for your awesome pages. Speaking of love for pages, I hope to also hit the Sharing Thread to catch up on all your creations, Linda. If you can figure out how to bottle some of your creative energy I would love to purchase some LOL. Dgs was wired last night, and we were talking about how rich we would be if we could bottle that physical energy. Maybe there's a way to combine the two? Thanking of you and your family, gramma. (((((HUGS))))) to you all. Had a weird health incident yesterday afternoon. I was in the middle of the huge mess of lasagna prep--meat was frying, I had onions half cut up and the peppers were waiting by the sink, sauce had started--and I suddenly had what felt like the combination of a hot flash and a sudden offset of a flu. Broke out in a cold sweat and my knees were wobbly. I completed the cooking tasks which took a bit longer than it normally would b/c I kept having to sit down to rest. I almost called to get my sister in law to come and take over, but managed to power through, put the pans in the oven, and headed for a nap. Didn't wake up until my niece texted me from the living room. Dh had fallen asleep in the recliner and there were no lights on in the house so they were wondering if they had the wrong day LOL. By that time, I felt much more like myself. Got up and cleaned the huge mess I had left in the kitchen. Dd & family arrived and helped tame the chaos in the dining room. We ate and then played Canasta. The lasagna was a hit, and we had chocolate zucchini cake for dessert. Win/win: Sent leftover containers of cooked tomatoes and leftover pieces of lasagna home with dd to freeze, as well as what was left of the cake: I got to get the cake out of the freezer to make room for the extra lasagna. Seem to be feeling okay today, just a little muddy headed. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Hey kitbop the Canada Dry you were talking about, was it ginger ale or sparking water? I found the cranberry ginger ale but I'm not sure if that's what you meant. grammadee I'm glad you're feeling better, hopefully you just needed the rest. Do you have problems with blood sugar levels? The evening sounds so fun!

grammadee, that episode doesn't sound good. I agree with Linda, be sure you tell the doctor. I hope it was just a bit of over exertion. Your lasagna sounds wonderful. Glad you had a great evening together. justjac, safe travels. I hope you have a great time with your family. Linda, I love your layouts. That Quinceanera page is gorgeous. I love the black and gold pinwheel stripes. The flowers on your June page are so pretty. I love those s'mores embellishments! I can't get over how fast you scrap! joyfulnana, I hope your mother gets better quickly. UTI's in older women can be so dangerous. I'm sorry that your weekend plans were spoiled.Your knitting is looking so pretty! kitbop, I have to ask...are you planning a 5th trip to the play? LOL. So glad you enjoyed it and got autographs! kellyr21, I think I would miss the changing of seasons if I lived in a warm climate, but as winter hits and it's 22 degrees and the wind is blowing, I'm wishing we had settled a bit further south! So glad you can get out, walk, and enjoy yourself. I hope you have a lovely weekend. gramma, thinking of you and your family! DH and I got our Covid and flu shots yesterday after PT. I was feverish in the night, but feel a lot better today. DH seems to be fine. I hope all you Pokeys have a great weekend!

the Canada Dry you were talking about, was it ginger ale or sparking water Definitely gingerale! I normally drink just the fizzy water, but this is the fully sweet soda type drink. The cranberry stuff is great half and half with OJ. I buy the diet version which is what is hard to find. The sugary stuff is everywhere. Katie and I are starting to crochet a christmas blanket and I'm wondering how Cleo will be with that...I'm expecting she will channel Bess! Your bravery in going back for the second surgery has paid off Yes indeed, that took guts nylene ! Your "spell" sounds kinda scary grammadee , and I'm glad it passed. I agree with Nylene that hopefullyit was just over-exertion, and maybe some dehydration? Being dehydrated leaves one prone to fits of low blood pressure, if one is, say, standing in a hot kitchen for a long time? are you planning a 5th trip to the play? We would if we could! If tickets go down in price for Tuesday (all the remaining shows are sold out except Tuesday) we would go again. Even tho the day after is a terrible "hangover" from being up too late, the show is just so amazing. I had a lovely day. Started by stopping at my LSS who had their bi-annual "we're open on Saturday. Lucky you" day (I'm still bitter about my LSS and how they feel entitled to tell their customers that we're lucky and should patronize them so they stick around). I dropped a bunch of money on OLO markers. Then DH and I went shopping today in Stratford where this theatre company is: COOL and RICH little touristy city due to the theatre presence, with fabulous shopping in little mom and pop stores. It was so busy we were shocked. Christmas season is in full blast in the stores. Sunny, stereotypical "sweater weather" weather, good shopping, a lovely late lunch in a little Italian place. I also went back to the theatre when the matinee let out and got a few more autographs that we were missing. The only person I'm now missing is the LEAD - multiple cast members told me that he's SHY and tries to escape via different routes to avoid people. Can you imagine being shy, yet enjoying the spotlight? Linda - I looked up the scrapbook generations paper you were referring to - so nice to have really generic lines like that! I didn't like the cream base in some of it. Which really doesn't matter because I can't get it to Canada anyways I really love the quinceañera page!

kitbop that sounds like my kind of shopping. I love wandering into local stores. Linda I love your This is Me page especially. grammadee no snow here yet, but Dean put my winter tires on last week just in case. joyfulnana I brought my knitting so I’m working on puzzle pieces for my afghan while we visit. It was a very nice drive yesterday. The highway I took was much less busy than the ones I usually drive on.

kitbop we have the zero soda here, but I picked up the full sugar I'll pick up the zero sugar later and push this one onto the kids lol. I'm mulling over ways to hide my yarn so that I can knit without locking her out (and so I can sit in the living room LOL) I hope Cleo is less interested than Bess lol. Your day does sound lovely! We have lots of pop up shops this time of year on what is called The Plaza (fancy name for a mostly walking part of the city filled with shopping and eating). justjac, I used to take my needle work with me Everywhere. And then I started scrapbooking, and I still tried to bring it if possible but that didn't last long. grammadee that is a gorgeous scene! I'm not ready for the snow but it sure is beautiful. Linda I love every single page, especially the one of you! I did lots of cleaning and errands yesterday and went to bed at 8:45 lol. today I've finished the laundry and have done a little knitting. I'm watching the game, and low key hoping the Chiefs lose. They need to a get a loss out of the way. I don't want a repeat of the season New England went undefeated and then lost the SuperBowl lol. I have one LO 3/4 done and it's been that done for over a week lol. Maybe I'll finish that this afternoon. I got an update on my sister. They got it all the second attempt and will do radiation and medication. Like gramma.

Thank you justjac and joyfulnanaGood news on your sister joyfulnana worked in the yard this morning - picking up sticks, weedeating, and cutting down volunteer saplings. Didn't even get through one section completely before the rain arrived. Then went out for a haircut - not all that happy with the result but...it'll grow. DH and I had lunch out together and ran a few errands. Just got home. Hoping to scrap later but we'll see

Linda, I love your pages. Those tiny circles connecting the flowers on Dusty are really cool. Did you add those. I, too, love the page about you and I love the design on your new couch page. I'm always looking for ideas for 8.5x11 with 4x6 photos. Great job! You are a busy bee. I hope you are not sore from all the yardwork. How much do you have left to do? grammadee, that view is stunning. Cold..but stunning. I love the color of winter when everything is white. But I really miss flowers. What a beautiful photo to scrap your environment! Stay warm! kitbop, I hope Tuesday tickets go on sale. The 5th time might be the charm to get the lead's signature. LOL. I love it. Your shopping excursion sounds delightful. That's the kind of window shopping I could do for hours. justjac, my cursor was on the word and I read "tires" as "trees". I couldn't figure out what winter trees Dean was putting on. Glad you have them on in case you need them! Hope your weather stays nice for a while. joyfulnana, I am sorry that Bess hasn't yet learned to leave you alone when you are doing such necessary things as knitting and scrapping. I'm sure she will eventually get used to it, but I hope you don't go nuts in the meantime. So glad to hear a good update on your sister. Pretty scary stuff! It's Veteran's Day in the US today. DH had me make big Thanks Veterans signs and we covered our political signs with those. He put US flags out all along the front of the house too. We decided we would go to breakfast at IHOP. When we arrived we learned that they had a very nice free breakfast for Veterans. That made it a very inexpensive outing! When we got home I made labels for his most recent pens and then helped him drill wood for 3 more. He can do the drilling, just can't see the marked center to start. That will keep him busy and happy for several days. Here are the last 2 pages I finished. Grandma's HelperPrecious Girl

nylene - thank you - no the tiny circles were already on the paper as were the words on the page about me. I love when the PP does the work. I don't want to think about how much yardwork is left to do - we still have several trees down here and I know the old house needs mowing, weedeating and branch removal also. I swear if we move again I want a postage stamp sized yard...this one has 1.3 acres and the old house has 4 acres. And I just don't enjoy yardwork. LOVE your layouts. Hailey is such a cute helper - love those flowers and watering can! And the photos with baby Millie are precious!

nylene your pages are cuteness overload! Have fun with DGS grammadee. I wish I had the week off. I made it home safe. We didn’t get any snow at my aunt’s and it was warm enough that the roads were all melted off by the time I was driving home. I have Tuesday off work and I am going to relax. Dean’s birthday is Saturday, so I need to assemble his present (aka decide what is for his birthday and what gets bumped to Christmas.)

So glad you are scrapping again, nylene . Left love for your pages on Flickr. Your Veterans' Day sounds wonderful. So cool how you decorated for it, and YAY for their giving him a free breakfast! Glad you are home safe, justjac and that you have time to play today. Maybe you can pop into the daily crop with Linda this afternoon. Speaking of on line crops, have you seen that the date is set for the DD prep day this upcoming Saturday? I hope to pop in for the morning to play with Christmas dies, cutting pieces to use on cards later. Look for peeking penguins and bears this year. Loved your card with the opening door, justjac. I have always been fascinated with door and window dies: have alot of different ones and may just get some of them cut as well to play with later, maybe with some gnomes? Unless, of course, dh or other family have different plans for me. Today dgs and I are sorting toys in the basement, hoping to get them stored under the stairs where they came from before the small reno last month. They are currently taking up space I usually mess up with tubs of Christmas decor, so we need to make room for that! I put together a two pager yesterday with pic's we took at the crop, justjac .
