I'm glad there are more options available, both for people who want to make their own and for people who don't or can't make their own.

I emailed the India-based company. I was told that it would cost $65 for the full-size Stampoholic, including shipping to Southern California. That is just $5 more than the base price of the pink US model.

I have recently bought the Stampaholic and really like it. It is very sturdy, came with 2 magnets and the grid paper is available as a free download. The grid on the lid is laser etched, so no issues with it wearing off. I have been buying from this particular seller for around 3-4 years and have always had an excellent experience. Hope this helps.

I use the WRMK Letterpress platform and it works amazing... Really sturdy, you can get it a bunch of places (so sales, points, coupons, etc can be applied), and the bonus that it can also do letterpress (so two tools in one)... I did a video showing how it works, along with how I added a magnetic base and moveable stops for positioning your paper exactly where you want it... The reasons I like it are the cost, quality, the two-in-oneness of it, how durable and stable it is, and how accurate it is... If you're international, it's great because you can get it locally and save on shipping/duties... Shameless link to my video: youtu.be/1PaDCm7qHUMLove your video!!! Was going to get a Misti...but now I think I am going your route thanks!

I expect more stock within a week or so. The Stampaholic has wider hinges, laser etched top, and the magnets are a little bigger.

There's a video by a shop-I think it's tupelo designs?? That said they tried to make arrangements to sell the MISTI but had trouble getting it so they got the Stampoholic instead.
Also, the I believe the stampoholic company is offering free worldwide shipping through their facebook shop page right now.

My local retailers are charging far too much for it (they always blame the exchange rate). I've wanted a stamping tool since the MISTI appeared, but refuse to buy that one for ethical reasons.

DL, Thanks for the heads up! I saw your post 3 hours ago and headed straight out to my HL and got the last one off the clearance wall for $46.11 incl tax. I now have 2 Klingons I may not need anymore. Is this a great community, or what?

I broke down and ordered a Stampaholic from KatScrappiness.com. I ordered it on May 16. It shipped on May 17 and I received it today May 19. Woo Hoo! The only problem is that I've been up since 4:30 am and I just got home and I'm exhausted. And I have another full day of meetings tomorrow. The first chance I'll get to really play is Saturday. BTW - I posted up thread that I could just use my Stamp-a-ma-jig or my homemade version using a DVD case. But I kept reading about it and decided WTHeck, I'm going for it. Oh, and I was going to get the small version, but my finger "slipped" (haha) and I ordered the full size.

Thanks for the heads up about the free shipping for the Stampoholic - I am now the proud owner of a Regular Stampoholic which I picked up today from the post office. I am so excited!
For any Australian peeps out there it worked out to be about $85AUD with the exchange rate - much cheaper than the $125AUD I saw it here online.

Thanks for the link! Sometimes I like to create my own page backgrounds, and this size would be a lot more useful than the smaller one.

Just learned that there is a picture frame at IKEA that works for a stamp positioner. I have one coming and will report back how it works. I have the pink tool (now green, thanks to ruler stickers from katscrappiness.com) but want a 2nd so that I can put tack n peel on it for bare rubber and older SU stamps with foam but without cling.

Stampoholic users, how is the tool holding up? I'm thinking about buying one but just wanted to make sure it's a good investment.

@scrappersoccermom - I love mine. I rarely do any stamping without it. I don't stamp everyday, but probably a few times per week. And it's not pepto-pink! A friend came over a few weeks ago for card making day and she brought her brand new, still in the box misti. We checked them both out side by side and they were basically the same. I got mine from katscrappiness dot com.

I broke down and ordered a MISTI and am expecting it to arrive any day! However I haven't been able to order the graph paper! Not available anywhere! For anyone who has this tool, will regular graph paper work? Or can I download graph paper to use? I actually use a gridded plastic sheet from the sewing department... I cut it to fit and use that when needed. I cab stamp on it and then wash it
