Hi I'm a long time lurker. I joined 2 peas in 2003 but my post count was only in the 200's. The thought of 2 peas being gone for good made me realize I need to be more involved in conversations on the new site. I check in a few times but rarely post. An interesting piece of info about my user name is that when I joined 2peas we lived in Arkansas (hence the AR), but i never bothered to change it once we moved because my husband thought the AR stood for anal retentive.. so i left it even though we haven't lived in Arkansas for about 8 years I am a stay at home / homeschooling mom to 4 girls. Looking forward to being more active on here!! Lori

Hi, I started lurking back in 2008/2009 when my girlfriend told me about 2 peas NSBR. I read the boards every day. Earlier this year or late last year I made a user name to respond on a thread. I think that was the only time I posted. I don't know if I'll post much here but I'm glad I found everyone. I was having a hard time adjusting to life without the peas.
Here are my stats:
44 single/divorced two kids--19 and 23 live in SW Ohio work in healthcare

Was a member "over there" for 10 years & had only 830-something posts, so was like a lurker.
Married for almost 46 yrs, 2 grown children & 1 granddaughter, who is also grown. Am a retired RN, worked in a Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery for most of my nursing career. Husband works on the pipeline, we travel all around the country & live in our travel trailer, then go to the house for the time he isn't working. Perfect for us! Louisiana is home for us.
Enjoy hearing about everyone!

Hi All ! Mary here ! Another longtime lurker on the Peas for 10+ years. I'm married to my best friend Mike for almost 18 years and we have two 4-legged children; a yellow and black lab, 5 & 6 years old. My husband and i own a Print Management Company in NYC. I love to read, play games, keep up with the adventures of the "Peas" and search for free books on Amazon for my Kindle. Like everyone else, was devastated to find TwoPeas shutting down; SO SO happy to find some of you again. WELCOME TO ALL !

Hello all,
I was with Club CK, then went through several other transitions of the CK "child-boards" that were born from its shut down. I was on Two Peas, but as stated in another forum, I didn't really have such a bond, as my trust was broken from the way Club CK fell apart at the end.
Anyway, I've been in Texas for several years, and just returned to the Chicago area in February. Since then, I now have a boyfriend (who has succeeded in grounding me enough to stay in Illinois [shocker!]) and am (STILL) going to school. I was a nurse aide for several years, so the B.S. has a healthcare influence to it, and maybe I'll go for healthcare law. I do traditional scrapbooking, cards, Smash Books and the occasional mini album, when my sister kelsterjean can drag me into doing one. I'm the oldest of 3 girls and a boy, no babies of my own, yet. I love making new friends, photography, antiquing and thrift shopping, and of course, scrapbooking. I love shabby chic, vintage, classic styles in scrapbooking. Anything quick and convenient.
If y'all remember me, or just want to make friends, feel free to say hello!

I had to go look at my stats - 11 year pea with just over 1200 posts. I'm single and mid 50's. No kids and have one spoiled rotten dog. I scrap and stamp once in a while. Work full-time in a hotel, love to read and camp and am a sports nut. LOVE the TN Titans, Nashille Predators, and my beloved ISU Cyclones. Transplanted Iowan living in Tennessee. For a long time I was mostly lurking and in the last few years my obsession became Facebook and I checked in about weekly at two peas. Was stunned when I signed in and saw that notice. Like most of you I went into panic mode. So glad to see this migration happened.'m

I was a longtime member at Peas -- or at least what I consider longtime. I started posting in 2002, lurked before that. I think I had under 3,000 posts all this time too. I was also a daily reader there. I'm married, just turned 40 a couple of weeks ago. Married for 20 years next week. 4 kids turning 20, 18, 14, and 10. I own a clothing store - and still trying to figure out how to balance it all. Ugh. I've met a few Peas in person over the years, and have one I see every month or so in my store. You know who you are! lol I love cooking, reading, and relaxing at the lake. Oh - and I haven't scrapped in YEARS!!!

I was kandsmom before and I had a total of 53 posts in 7 years! I read daily and was in a panic when I got the email that the board was closed.
I am in my 50's and have 1 dd who is married and is the mother of my dgd and 1 ds. Today is both my ds's 25th birthday and my dgd's 1st birthday. Nothing is better than being a Grandma!
I love to read here but almost never post. It seems that others say what I would say. Maybe I will post more over here! I am pretty much an introvert and usually sit back and watch for a long time before I participate. I will try to break out of my shell!

Hi, I'm Lynda. I've been a lurker for 11 years. I've posted sporadically just not much. I'm divorced, mother of 2 and nana to 3. I found two peas after my divorce years ago. I'll say two peas has been my "salvation" many a day. I learned a ton, was entertained nearly every day, and was generally impressed by the knowledge of most of the peas. I was very sad and shocked to see it closed. I'm glad I found this forum. Perhaps I will come out of lurkdom more often

Lurker off and on for 10 years or so. I'm 44, married to the love of my life, mother of 3 adult children (1 mine, 2 his) and 2 cats. I have 3 grandsons (his). I'm a 911 Supervisor for Highway Patrol in my state for the past 17 years and still love every minute of it! Just diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis... still trying to figure out what all that entails! Chronic pain is no fun!!! To help manage the stress in my life, I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, crafting and reading. I'm currently doing Project Life. I love the simplicity of it! Super sad that 2peas is no longer but happy I found this replacement board! Pinterest is my weakness!

Long time lurker who finally started posting 5 years ago. Only 500 posts in all that time. But I lurked all day, everyday. I'm so glad to be here. A big thanks to the admins for making it possible.
I changed my pea name from Pinkscrap to fitzy. I am a software engineer and have been employed for 25 years at a large well known computer company. I married an awesome DH 30 years ago. We have 2 kids. A DD who is 25 and works for the same company I do. Though she's a proposal writer. DS is 22 and works for a renewable energy company. I have 2 cats - a ragdoll and a siamese. My hobbies are swimming, gardening and boating. I hope to move to the NC coast when I retire. Hopefully I'll still be able to enjoy lots of boating when retired.

Married, mom of two. Crazy schedules and usually loving every hectic second of it.

Hello everyone. I signed up to 2peas w a y back in the day when I actually was buying SB stuff. Then in the past few years, I've been a major lurker while off work awaiting an organ transplant. Lucky me, that occurred a few months ago. A new beginning for me and now with the new board, maybe meant to be and I'll actually post something! Anyway, if not, I want to thank you all for keeping me "entertained" while I was home bound before and after transplant. I feel as if I "know" some of you, the good and the bad, the liked and the not-so-liked, it certainly kept me less alone as the rest of my IRL peeps were out working etc. Felt less out of the "loop" and I thank you all!

Hoosier all of my life (Indiana.) Pea for over 3 years. Scrapbooking for 9 years. 38 years old, will be 39 in August Widowed in February. My husband and I celebrated his 39th birthday at Simon Cancer center just a week before he passed away. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in October. We would have celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this October. Sahm to three daughters (15, 12, 7) Once all of my finances are situated I'll decide whether I continue to stay home, work part time, or work full time. I would also like to go back to school. So sorry for your loss PEArfect, I can't imagine. I went back to school in my late 40s and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself. There are grants and financial aid available, it's not an impossible dream for you. Hugs to you. My husband and I had been discussing the idea of me going back to school since our youngest was in Kindergarten. Honestly just the thought makes me a bit anxious. lol I know that it is something that I need to do for myself, and for my daughters. Especially now that I'm the sole provider.

Long time (14years, two posts, but I read it every day!) lurker here. Wondered why my thread topics didn't refresh on my iPhone so I remembered to check on my computer today. Had a mild panic attack. Didn't know how I'd ever learn about things like that I had to watch "Downton Abbey" or the best books to read or even to try C25K. Sat through a viewing of DA this evening when it dawned on my I could google and see if the Peas had moved somewhere. My life is so much happier now.
About myself: empty-nester of three boys and five grandchildren. I love to run, read and swim.
I guess that's it. Hopefully I'll post more often here, but, honestly, I'm in Hawai'i, so, just like the national elections, the initial issue in a thread has already been resolved by the time I read it. Hahaha

I was on Two Peas for about 13 years - but definitely not a well known Pea. I am 45 and a professional in the financial services industry. My daughter whom I adopted from China, is 8 years old. We live in the Twin Cities, though I am originally from the Phoenix area. I like cooking, biking, photography and am a digi scrapper. Most of my free time is spent driving her around to her various activities (it feels like anyway) - she is enthused with and taking circus arts classes. Hi Julie, I remember you, OTer! Wow, I can't believe your daughter is 8 now! I remember when you were in the process of adopting her. Good to see you again!

Longtime British lurker (7 years since I registered, but I lurked long before that), sometime poster (if you'd asked me how many times I'd posted I would have guessed at less than a dozen, but I checked & it was over 200! I know that was "a drop in a bucket" but it sure surprised me!).
I'm 40, married for 20 years next month to a great guy, mum to 16yo ds & 12 yo dd. Infant school TA.
So glad clever people found us a "new home", I loved 2Peas & all the things I learnt about our neighbours over the pond from it!

I go in spurts participating at 2Peas - I hadn't been there in months until someone told me there was a new board, so now I'm SUCKED back in!
I'm 45, married for 25 years, SAHM with 4 kids (22, 20, 17, 15) but I'll be down to 1 kid at home this August! How did that happen?!
Anyway stuff I do - help at the school, fitness, travel, and right now we're building a house so that's keeping me kind of busy.
Oh, and I live in the Phoenix area.

Big lurker here. 8 years, 11 posts. Daily reader, though. I, too, couldn't work out why threads weren't refreshing on my phone, and went into a panic when I checked on my computer and found two peas had closed down. My first thought was how will I get updates on Beth? Second thought was where am I going to get book recommendations without Batya's thread each week?
I was very happy when a quick google search led me here to our new home. Even though I rarely posted, I found the peas to be a wealth of information (as well as great entertainment) and if I was going through something in my life, or wanted information about something, you could guarantee that there was already a post about it, be it health issues, travel information, new products or even just the fun fluff posts.
I have always been hesitant about posting, as I have seen many times how a seemingly innocent comment can be taken the wrong way and the whole thread goes pear shaped. But when I thought two peas was gone forever, I wished I had participated and not just watched from the sidelines. Hopefully I will post more than 11 times in the next 8 years!

I was a lurker, as well. Posted once in awhile. Was a member for 13 years. Learned so much from the boards. In fact, I was always telling my husband, "the peas said..." I am in my late 50's and married to my childhood sweetheart for 40 years. We had three dogs until recently when we had two die within a month of each other. One was 15 and the other was 14. Now we just have our 2 pound Chihuahua, Tazzy left and she is spoiled rotten!! I am a licensed, certified pharmacy technician and I work in the lab at a compounding pharmacy.

What constitutes a lurker? If it's less than 50 posts since the beginning of TwoPeas ( or Dmarie or Jangle or whatever it started out as), then that would be me!
I live in SoCal with DH and DD, whom we adopted internationally, and our fur baby. I am an RN, love to read, crochet and travel. Currently planning our trip to DisneyWorld (hopefully). Still occasionally scrap, but doing photo books on line is sooo much less hassle and quicker.
So glad the "peas" are back on! I need guidance on how to spend my money! LOL!
