The March kit really underlines how all over the place SC's designs are these days... It's really a bizarre mix of different aesthetics. I can't wrap my head around it. How dare you forget about the pink paperclip unicorns of 3? 4? years ago? What about the random cactus or stray animal tossed on some blank card! I thought LLP was done with them?! Is there actually anything new going on with Inked that they're still staying alive? Is Wink Wink keeping them afloat after all these years? /sigh

Hard pass from me on the dog stamps. I dont want or need hand drawn stamps that look like I drew it. No thanks. My thoughts exactly.

It's the only way to survive the memories of being a SC subscriber once upon a time. Now, hear me out... a raccoon paperclip! I thought LLP was done with them?! I think Tina must've reached out for some design work when KP closed her first shop. There were a lot of LLP leftovers at KP's clearance sale and now significantly less of her work in the PP shop.

The problem with dog stamps in general is, it’s rarely the ‘right’ dog for many scrappers. Lol many people want things that resemble our fur ball not a random dog. This stamp in particular, is a bit of a rare looking dog, it’s only 1/2 the dog and a bit messy so that he almost looks like a cat or a Batman mask. The ‘dog’ sentiments aren’t things I can imagine myself ever saying to or about my dog. I AM very much a dog person, and very often document my dog, but this is a complete miss - my wallet is happy about that. I agree that Geralyn would probably have at least more useable sentiments. Or an everyday explorers prompts for dogs could be awesome.

Then, after pondering it over for a few seconds, I figured dog-faced slippers made more sense. A duh moment if there ever was one. I *think* the depicted dog is supposed to be a human-eyed (probably not intentional), slim-faced (hopefully not intentional) Boston Terrier or French Bulldog. What may have worked better is a general 4x6 and an add-on 3x4 with faces of the 4-5 most popular dog breeds right now.

I used to sub to Studio Calico many years ago, but now just buy occasional items during their sales. However I just saw the Monthly stamp series designed by Geralyn of IACB and want to start buying those for the year. Jan and Feb are sold out, do the Peas think Studio Calico might restock them??? I have no idea what their stocking practices are anymore.....

If someone buys the stamp set, they can maybe offer peachiceteas a print with black ink on white cardstock and mail the 4x6 stamped cardstock piece?

I have no idea what their stocking practices are anymore..... They have restocked older months in the past BUT it's not a given. And you don't even know when they'll do it if they do it. I believe I saw some from last year (or the year before?) get restocked late in the year. I can't even tell you if it was the full set of all the monthly stamps that had sold out or just a few randos.

peachiceteas Would it be a reasonable cost if I were to buy it and when I'd receive it, mail it to you? I'm just not sure how much the cost of shipping would be from the US to the UK but I'd be willing to do it. We could just work it out through PayPal?

I don’t know why people think all dogs are boys (especially big dogs) and all cats are girls, but that persists in SB products.

The sneak in the emails show a bit of the other (bottom) part of the stamp and I can see one with the similar aesthetic that seems to say "good" something, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does have both on there. You're so right, I see that a ton with cats and dogs, though!!

We lost our girl in October and I’ve been wanting to put an album together with all our memories of her. This will help me do that. I’m still heartbroken and miss her everyday. WFH is not the same without her.

Ladies, I literally appreciate you so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for thinking of me and being so willing to help a girl out. Buddy sends you all kisses.
I reached out to Christine and she confirmed that this stamp will be available digitally (which I should have no problems purchasing or I can ask my MIL to purchase with her USA bank card), so I can print and cut on my Cricut to my hearts content. Winning! I can save myself some dollar and put this machine to good use.
Thank you, thank you. 😘
