Last night was the first time I scrapped in nearly a month, I think. Maybe a little less, but it didn't feel like it. I felt so happy just to get something done, that it really sparked my mojo. (April has been a hella-busy month, with work, kids' school-related stuff, and all of us getting the cold from hell)
So, today I woke up at six, ready to scrap.
I've decided that my next goal is to finish scrapping my DD1 8th grade school photos. She was in everything that year. Plays. Band. Choir. Honor roll. Field trips. Move up ceremony. So many photos! So that's what I'm working on today.
What are your scrappy goals?

I mainly do Project Life/pocket style scrapbooking now and my goal at the moment is to get 2015 done and start 2016. I know there is no such thing as being "caught up" but working on the current year would be awesome!!! LOL

I have so many projects in my head! My goal is to find the time to actually scrap. Lately, I've been wanting to complete my 2015 WITL - have all the photos and journaling, just need to put together. I want to start 2016 WITL project this spring and want to wrap this one before starting the next one.

I would like to have a stash a cards made.
I have been using my stuff lately. Even if its just trying out a technique and practicing colouring, to me it still counts as time spent scrapbooking.
I have an art journal meet up / class every month at my LSS (only LSS). It happens to be this Sunday.
My friend is having a gathering for another scrappy friend who is moving cross country in June. So good bye crop. A space has been rented I'm sure we will go 10-12 hrs. Small group of ladies. Good group over all. I'm trying to decide if I should just take Christmas stuff and make cards, or plan out some other cards to take. Or just art journal.
This weekend I have to make 2 mothers day cards and a birthday card. Plus I have been asked to provide samples for a possible class I would teach. I need to hand them in on Sunday.
I'm also trying to get myself into the habit during week of pulling together some product for a card or something else I want to make. So its ready to go on the weekend. Also during week is when I would spend 15 mins or so in my craft rooms to organize. I do not want to spend my valuable weekend time organizing.
Also I have been trying to mix my usage of old and new products, dies, etc.

I am hoping to finish dgs's album by the end of May. Hoping to use the NSD challenges & activities and the 2 Peas Tell Your Story challenges to give me ideas and motivation. I am also enrolled in LOAD516 over at ScrapHappy, but that is more of a way to play and have fun.

My goal is to find the time to actually scrap. This is always my biggest set back. I finally have a scrap space after 12 years scrapping with no actual space dedicated to it. Now I have to choose between sleep and scrapping. Sleep has been winning lately.

My goal is to just use stuff up! No saving all the new pretty stuff for the perfect layout. I have so much scrap crap I need to just use it!

My goals are as follows:
1. Complete cruise album for 2015 Thanksgiving family cruise. Making a couple of regular scrap pages as intros to places visited and then using pocket scrapping for the rest--Carta Bella Ahoy There paper.
2. Complete albums for a trip to China in 2006. My daughter worked there for 14 months for her company. We are following the above strategy with intro pages and pocket scrapping. Will involve several albums and thousands of photos. Using Jenni Bowlin red and black papers and photo freedom along with intro layouts. Don't want this to be too themey, so only adding touches of the Oriental.
3. Keeping up with yearly chronological album of family events/girlfriend birthdays/short trips, etc.
4. Working on Europe trip albums with friends who went. A group of us teachers took students and a few parents and went to Europe for three weeks! Crazy, for sure. Using old Heidi Swapp World Traveler papers along with Project Life Cinnamon and Vintage Travel and some new Carta Bella Old World Traveler.
5. Combining old product with new in a feeble attempt to use stash.
I probably won't live long enough to get caught-up, but I sure am having fun in the meantime!

I'm a project lifer and stay pretty much current. My goal is to start and complete my 2015 December Daily. I don't usually have separate album for December, but I was sucked to it this year. Besides that, my goal is to continue making progress backwards as I do prior year PL. I'm working on 2010 at the moment.

I have a few short-term goals that I'd like to get done by the end of May: - Complete at least 25 pages during my upcoming weekend crop
(that one is a stretch, because I typically don't get much done at all during weekend crops-- but I have page kits enough made to complete at least 85 pages) - Edit and print the rest of the photos from our 2014 Hawaii vacation (I have 4 days of the trip left)
- Get at least halfway done with the G45 mini album I want to give my sister for her birthday (in July, lol)
- Organize all my scrapbook supplies in my room after the crop so I can scrap at home (also a stretch
goal because I hate putting my stuff away after crafting away from home)
-- My boyfriend thinks I'll only get 4 pages done over the weekend, so my first goal is to at LEAST beat that number!!

I bought a BoBunny calendar kit from my LSS, but I am using it to do a two page spread for each month this year. My scrapbooky version of monthly Project Life I guess. I need to do March and April, and then keep on track for the rest of the year. I'm debating whether to repeat pictures that got their own separate layout.
I want to get my photos organized. I do not have a set routine for printing and often lose pics and end up reprinting.
I just want to be creative and have fun.

LavenderLayoutLady you are wonderful for posting all kinds of goals! Here's mine:
I want to stay caught up with any current pics. I am caught up through mid April. I print as I get pics so it's easier to manage 10 or so current pics. when I go to a Fri night/Sat crop I usually spend Fri doing my catch up layouts.
I want to finish the albums of my year in England and my short trips to France, Belgium and Scotland by the end of the summer. I have many opportunities to scrap so my goal is to finish this project by Sept 1st.
Long term I have so many projects, but I may work on updating my heritage albums adding all the new photos I've collected. That may be what I take on after my England books.

I want to get my photos organized. I do not have a set routine for printing and often lose pics and end up reprinting. I print a month's worth of photos at a time. I try to order them on the last day of the month. Then when they arrive, about a week after ordering, I write the month/year on the outside of the envelope, and any events that stick out in my mind from that month. Makes it easier when I go back to scrap them eventually.

A couple long-term scrappy goals:
-- Do some practicing with Photoshop (I have it, I'm just scared of it)
-- Edit / order / print photos on a regular basis. I don't print photos until I want to scrap, which hasn't been working out for me because I don't like the tediousness of editing / printing. If I edit / order / print in batches I may be more inclined to actually create scrapbook pages.
-- work on getting better at deleting the truly crappy photos! (I don't like to delete ANY photos, even if there are 10 that are all almost the same, if they're blurry, or if they have horrible composition)

I have three travel albums that I would like to be completed by the end of May(ish). In total, there are 158 pages. I have finished 58 of the pages. When I write my goals on the fridge calendar, I am much more motivated. I also need to give one of the albums a s a gift, so that helps too.

I always have the same basic goal: to catch up! I'm currently scrapping May 2004. I need to move along.
In addition, I'd love to make some more enamel dots. I bought a ton of beads a while ago and took my old toaster oven when we bought a new one, so there's no excuse not to plug it in & throw some in there every time I sit down to scrap. But do I? Noooooo . . .
I also still have a ton of rubber stamps that I'd like to unmount.
And I'd like to get more comfortable w/my Cameo.
That should keep me busy til the end of the decade . . .

Short term goals:
1. finish matching pictures to SG SS kits I've got for my first ever SB Expo coming up in June. 2. Put up the pictures that didn't get matched up to kit (currently stacked on my desk) so I can get them scrapped. (2009 & 2011, with some from this year) 3. Finish an Easter layout that's kicking my butt! 4. Continue working on my youngest's baby album. 5. Continue scrapping 2009 (got all the pictures printed) and 2011 (I've got up to June printed -when my youngest was born- and print the rest of that year)
With me finally getting scrapping again, it feels good, but a bit overwhelming!, with all that I want to get done! One step/page/project at a time!
Long term:
So much to list, but a few big ones. 1. Get back into a groove of scrapping. 2. Find a system to get pictures printed & backed up. 3. And finish organizing negatives and printed but not picked for scrapping pictures. (Mostly from film days)

You ladies got me thinking about my scrapbooking to do list! I'd like to -get more caught up in my DD album, I'm currently at the end of 2013 - do a childhood album of my husband's photos - make a meditation journal for myself - stay current on printing my photos (I've gotten much better at this) - make an album of last year's trip to Florida -start an album of nature pictures I've taken
Wow! I guess I'll be busy!!!

I guess this is kind of a scrapbook goal... I want to take the photos I scrapped before digital cameras off of layouts, and scan them somehow (and then put them back). We have been evacuated due to wildfires a couple of times, and I am so afraid something will happen and I won't be able to grab all my albums. I just want to have those photos, especially my son's baby photos backed up somewhere.

I am lucky that I have time to scrap! But my goal is to start making pocket page layouts that I actually *like*! I find myself using products that I get in kits that I don't really like because I have them and I paid for them, so I should use them! But in reality, I have enough of a stash built up by now that I don't need to use every little thing and I am not in danger of running out of products (Really, has that ever happened to anyone? Hahaha!) So that's it- be more intentional about what I use and keep doing what I'm doing, just do it "better."

I just scan the layout and use the scanning software to crop the photos into individual scans - I scrap 8.5x11 but I think with creative placement of a 12x12 layout in a flatbed scanner, you could still do it - just might take a couple of goes. If you have a flip-pal, it would be even easier - I'm dreaming of one myself

I'm working on my 90s travel album. Short term goal is to make a number of layouts for a big trip to Italy. And my Cameo just arrived. So my next goal is to get to grips with the software at least for basic projects.

After coming back from my 3-day crop (it was fun and tiring; I'll talk more about it later), my NEW goal is to put my craft room back in order and actually make it workable, possibly so I can leave the door open, even!! I go for long stretches of time where I basically just 'toss' something in there and shut the door again (we have cats who get into things so right now the door is always closed). I have a LOT of knick-knacks and just STUFF that now, when I look at it with fresh eyes, I see that it's all just CLUTTER, decorative and craft supplies alike.
For example: In my closet I have a three-drawer plastic cart that has a broken caster. I've had that cart for at least 15 years. And what's worse, most of the stuff IN that cart is stuff I don't even USE for anything any more, and haven't for YEARS (erasers for carving stamps, a set of cheap colored pencils, a set of cheap oil pastels, etc.). That sort of thing is literally (and I do NOT use that particular word lightly) ALL. OVER. THE. ROOM. Strings of beads, jewelry findings, flat-backed glass marbles for making thumbtacks / pendants, pin backs, a set of 20+ Sharpie markers that I haven't used in years, glass plates from the thrift store that I thought maybe I'd decoupage someday, random vintage decorative stuff I 'rescued' from estate sales or thrift stores... etc. etc.
All of the sudden I feel like doing what stores do at the end/beginning of a season: doing a MAJOR RESET of the entire room to get rid of all superfluous items and make room for the fresh/new ones (or at least make room for the stuff I DO like, lol). I started the process out of the blue last night when I got home from the crop and I have already amassed: one large-size garbage bag of papers for the recycle bin, a large bag of straight-up garbage, two boxes for donating to Goodwill and a box of stuff to take to the used book store (hopefully for some cash or trade-in value). And that was only from four hours of work!!
If I can keep the momentum going, I want to be pretty ruthless about the entire process, too: Over the years I bought a lot of 'I-might-use-this-someday' stuff and I also have a lot of 'I-paid-good money-for-that-so-I shouldn't get-rid of-it-even-IF-I no-longer-like-it' stuff. Last night, I was really struck by the fact that all of that stuff is just stifling my effective use of the room.
So my NEW goal is to complete my major room re-set, get rid of the superfluous stuff I no longer like/want, and make more effective use of the space I have. (oh, and get it all done by the end of the month!!) Whew!! Wish me luck!!

I don't know what a flip-pal is, but I'm off to Google it now.

Love reading about scrapbooking goals! Here are mine: I've been good about staying current with 2016 project life since I'm doing 6x12 weekly spreads this year (before this I was just doing spreads by event using however many photos I wanted), but my priority is that album. -Finish 2015 project life by the end of this month (I'm about 3/4 of the way there) -Finish my senior year of college album by the end of June (really I just need to journal...I left the part that I generally like the least until last, of course! sigh) -Get to work on several mini-books: one each for short trips from 2013, 2014, 2015 (2 trips), and earlier this year - I have basic plans for these, but I haven't printed photos -High school senior year project life: need to print photos and put together -Sort photos for two trips to Europe in 2011 and 2012, and earlier this year to Asia for separate travel albums -Continue to use my supplies up and have fun! AKA not get to worked up about all of the things I still want to scrap - this is supposed to be a fun hobby, after all

Still to do: -order photos through the end of April (one more batch should do it) -update the spreadsheet for 2016 -finish scrapping Jan-Apr -photos are ordered through the end of May for 2016 -2016 photos are scrapped through May 28th (the rest are on on order still) -2016 spreadsheet is up-to-date So I did well on these goals After that? -Navy album for DS -update high school album for DD1 -update Brownie album for DD2 -play catch-up with 2015 -finish the Disney album -and so much more... Didn't make much progress here. -I did print all the remaining photos from 2014 that needed printing and updated the spreadsheet and sorted the prints into albums in page protectors chronologically -I've ordered some of the 2015 photos - hopefully I can order the rest next week (I need to update the spreadsheet first to make sure I'm not double-ordering any) -that's it... Next on the list is updating the spreadsheet for 2015 and then working on scrapping 2014 (it's in progress)
