jennyap , those earrings are indeed lovely. Very prudent decision. Yes, I have purchased a few pairs of Alegria shoes for the winter on clearance. LOVE all of them!!!!! Alegria's are my favorite. This probably takes me to over 40 pairs now. Eeek! I am SO GLAD you posted this. A few weeks ago, I actually asked a woman who was wearing these exact shoes - the black ones - what brand they were. She even SPELLED it for me, and then I muttered it to myself all the way to my car, and I still forgot. I think I "need" them for work. I don't have to be a slave to Dansko, right? But now that I see the brown ones... What about the sizes? Do they run true to size...run big...run small? Oh yes, I love them more than my Danskos. I have lots of Alegria sandals for the summer and now I am building my winter collection. I wear a 5 in women's so a 35 in Alegria's. I find they fit beautifully and true to size for me. They are more comfortable than Danskos IMO. Watch for them on clearance. I get them as low as $35. The blue ones I got for $49. They usually run over $100 each pair.

My Kaweco fountain pen arrived from Gouletpens today! But since it's a present from the kids, I can't open it until jul.
Oh no, that's so frustrating! But at least you know it is safely in the house Which model is it?
I splurged on a timeshare at the beach to celebrate my 60th birthday. Now it isn't until next May, but my friend let me use her week so I had to pay her fee and a small guest fee. When we checked for next May there was basically only one resort available. I invited my mom down too. This is a milestone birthday so to speak but I dislike parties. My idea of a great birthday is to hang out with my loved ones at the beach and have a wonderful seafood dinner someplace. That sounds like bliss.

Talenti chocolate peanut butter cup gelato. No photo though because I ate the whole pint yesterday and threw out the carton. However....I may just feel the need for another pint. If I do I'll post that photo.

I went on a bit of a shopping spree yesterday to cheer myself up. I bought two pairs of boots from Altered States and 4 long cardigans, one of those big scarfs, some cool leggings and some accessories from H&M.

I feel like this was a splurge...but it may be necessary for my sanity. I just bought heavy duty commercial type washer/dryer set yesterday. I spent a lot of money and i'm so excited for them to be installed today. My washers don't last long around here so hopefully this takes care of the problem

I had an eye exam earlier this week and splurged on a nice pair of frames. I like having one really nice pair, and then I'll buy some cheapies from Zenni to bum around in (Beach, running, etc.) but I hadn't invested in a good pair on several years

More than I care to admit to. I went on a boot buying binge and now 4 more pair reside happily in my closet. Now if the weather would cooperate so that I could wear them.

I have a slight cookie cutter addiction, I just bought 3 more sets on Wednesday. But they are kind of for my business, so that doesn't really count! But today, I'm on the hunt for the Nintendo Classic. Our Walmart has them in stock according to online, so I'm hitting there first. If I can't get it there, I'm off to the game store 20 minutes away to sit in their parking lot to wait for the doors to open! Why oh why did you remind me of the Nintendo Classic? I just bought the Plastation VR and it is sucking up every free moment and now this. Great, will see if I can track one down today. I am telling you, video games are going to be my demise. Well I didn't get one. I stood in line outside in the freezing cold for over an hour. I was 14th in line. the friggin store only got 9!

...and if you have, what was it? Anything at all, big or small, no matter the cost (I know we all have different budgets, not trying to make anyone feel bad about it). Pics or links where possible please!
Me, I splurged on a pair of pretty amazonite and rose gold vermeil stud earrings. Those are really beautiful! Save

I don't have a Sephora near me but I was near one a few weeks ago a got some expensive foundation and powder by Makeup Forever and I HATE it! It was my first Sephora experience and will be my last because the lady who did help me (props for actually asking if I need help since I never get helped at Ulta when I do ask) wasn't helpful. I asked "what do you recommend for applying the foundation?" Her: "I don't know, whatever you want I guess to use" that was just the start... Ugh. I always thought that Sephora would take back anything you don't like, even if it's been used. I would ask them, since you hate it! Save

I have just bought a Korres long lasting eyeliner...just one more in my search for one that stays put for a decent amount of time now that my middle aged lids have become rather oily. Have you tired Liz Earle mascara? It is literally the only mascara that doesn't leave me looking like a panda by the end of the day!

Those earrings are lovely!
I have had a recent splurge too. We've FINALLY got a Bath and Body Works shop in Australia. I have been buying from the USA for years including the killer postage costs. It only opened a couple of weeks ago and I went 3 days ago. I was in heaven and didn't know where to look first. I ended buying 4 body spays, 4 hand soaps, a shower gel and a lip gloss. I'm loving their Limoncello scent.
Then I went to T2 and bought a variety pack of herbal teas: - Apple, Kale & Ginger
- Baxter’s Buns
- Black Forest Bliss
- Carrot, Ginger & Turmeric
- Gingernut Chai
- Hot Date Chai
- Jaffalicious
- Peace, Love & Peppermint
and one of these teamakers I had one of these from about 10 years ago and when I used it recently it leaked so I needed a new one.
Then I want to Nespresso and bought 3 sleeves of their limited edition coffee pods that they only bring out at this time of the year. This year's flavours are based on Austrian desserts and they are: Apfelstrudel, Sachertorte and Linzer Torte.
All in all a good shopping day! Sounds like a great day of shopping! My kind of shopping list Thanks for introducing me to T2, why have I never heard of this shop before!

We treated ourselves to bicycles. They are supposed to be our early December anniversary gift, but were chosen as such because we will be moving to a really tiny little town. We both need the exercise they will provide and the town is a great place to ride them.

These boots . I've been watching them for about a year. They are ALWAYS $89.99. Which is not a bad price for riding boots but I already have a pair of perfectly serviceable riding boots so I just couldn't justify paying that much for these just because I liked the color. So I have stalked them. Then last week I got an email from camelcamelcamel that the price had dropped to $67, and I had just gotten my ebates payment of $25. So I effectively got them for $42 + tax. I'm so happy with them!!

I just bought the whole family new outfits for family photos tomorrow. Normally I just make what's in our closets work, but I found this sweater for my oldest daughter and loved it, so I built all of our outfits around those colors. I also bought myself a Perfect T and a pair of leggings from LulaRoe. this necklace from Kohl'sPretty sure there's more that I'm forgetting. I've been on a bit of a spending binge lately. Lana

I wouldn't wear anything else. When they start feeling worn out, you can replace the insoles for about $25. It's like buying a new pair at a huge discount. I have a pair of black patent leather and a pair of hot pink patent leather. Both are Mary Jane style. At work I am required to wear black scrub pants and a hot pink scrub shirt so the shoes are perfect.

The Peas LOVE the Clarisonic. I have the Olay brand, but it's getting slower and slower, even with new batteries. It really helped clear up my peri-menopause acne and my skin is so smooth. I was going to purchase another Olay brand but the 50% off, plus an additional 10% off for signing up for emails, was too good of deal to pass up. Save

Yes, last night! I purchased the new Vitamix scale & app. Costco had a roadshow & the guy said it was going to be the last time they're in Costco before the holidays. Hubby was interested in it as well because he can weigh his Ebay items for shipping. LOL He will now be making his own smoothies & soups when I'm at work. www.vitamix.com/Shop/Perfect-Blend-Smart-Scale $79.99 not $99 as listed (hope the link works)
