So DH called today and spoke with the manager/owner. He explained what happened and he was told "Sorry". That's it. THAT'S IT. Just a lame "sorry". I'm so super PEA LIVID. So, I went on their FB page and posted a review. It's since been deleted. I also went onto the FB group for our county (over 7,000 members) and posted my experience there. Almost 50 people have "liked" or commented on it and one person tagged the restaurant so I'm sure they will see that too. I also sent their FB page a message saying that I was disappointed that they did not seem to care and that I would be sure to share my experience. The FB message is showing as "read". I went on TripAdvisor and Yelp and posted there as well. The restaurant hasn't said one word to me at all. Further proves that "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". LOL

Slight Update (and more info) - My husband called today and they are closed on Mondays. That's typical of most of the non-chain seafood places around here. Most of the non-chain places do close early on Sunday's around here so I was a bit surprised at 7pm but I looked online at two other places nearby and they both closed at 7pm on Sunday as well.
DH didn't want to talk to the manager at that moment and honestly, I don't blame him because he was fired up and the waitress kept saying "What?" and "Did I offend you?" and he honestly was about to lose it. I wanted to go back in right then and there but I didn't want to make our friends wait. There were a few other people in the restaurant who witnessed the scene and she was the only waitress working, although we did not get her name. So, he's planning on calling tomorrow. He was going to put something up on their FB account but I told him not to until he talked to the manager/owner. I just think that a restaurant should be given a chance to fix an issue before it's blasted on social media for all to see. Now if the manager is like "screw you", then by all means...blast away.

Went out tonight with some friends for seafood and to pick crabs. We got to the restaurant at 5:15 (they close at 7pm) and went in and ordered soft drinks and put in an order of steamed shrimp and a dozen oysters. Our friends were a few mins away and we told the waitress they would be there shortly. She asks if we are going to order crabs and we say yes. At 5:30 she comes back over and asks where our friends are as they come walking in the door.
She looks at me and says "do you have a 9-5 job?" I say yes, not quite catching on and she says, "how would you feel if someone came in at 4:45?". As I catch on, my husband freaks out and tells her you've got to be joking and demands our check for the drinks, (our apps hadn't come yet) and she says no and asks if she offended us. He tells her there's no way he's eating here and demands the manager. She's says no and that would get her terminated. He told her that wasn't his problem and she told us to leave and not to worry about paying for drinks.
I'm still floored. Between the 4 of us, we would've easily dropped $300. It takes 20 mins to steam crabs. Giving us a whole hour to eat them. DH is going to call the place tomorrow..I've just never met a waitress so brazen! And I waited tables for 6 years!
