OMG seriously.
It's been an hour into Winter, and I'm already weepy!

I can't seems to pull it up on Netflix! I'm up early to start watching and do some online shopping and I can see the two trailers and nothing else!

Oh bummer!! Mine has been working fine since 6:30 - but I'm on Canadian Netflix so maybe the US one is overloaded?

No spoilers, but my dd has watched the first three episodes and she is not happy. I feel bad for her because she's been a big fan and has been waiting so long for this.

Yeah, getting ready to start the 4th episode. I'm seeing it through but I'm not happy either. There were some funny parts but really not a whole lot. I had higher hopes for it. Maybe it'll all tie in nice and neat in this one.

I cried in all 4 episodes I think. I already don't remember. I do know that Summer & Fall were my favorites and that I loved the surprises that they didn't let out of the bag ahead of time. (Oh, and due to a change in plans, I wound up watching while my entire family was home, so it took me 8 hours to watch the 4 episodes, LOL!)

Maybe it'll all tie in nice and neat in this one. My expectations for it have always been pretty low, so I got to be relieved that it went better than expected. My issues with the trailer were primarily centered around Rory, and that's how the show went for me as well. And that's not a big shock to me, because Rory was never my favorite character in the show. All in all, through all 4 eps, my favorite in this revival was hands down Emily. All in all I was still happy with it. I really laughed when I came across a guest star I wasn't expecting, even though it wasn't humorous. I just liked that they stuck those in there without us all knowing ahead of time and that made me laugh. SaveSave

Definitely, Fall was much better. Happy to see many of the original cast members and special guest stars...namely PK! I miss him! Small spoiler so don't look further:
I finally cried, when Lorelai called her mom and told her a happy memory of her dad.

I watched all four. I will withhold comments, but yes winter was quite the weepy episode.

The summer episode got me. But there were parts, I forget what season, had me in tears from laughing so hard. It was during the play.

My younger son was playing in the room, ignoring the show, until the play started, then he was laughing even though he really had no idea at all what they were talking about.
I thought they did a good job with the reasons why most people were brought back. There were just a very few exceptions where I think they could have done better.
I knew ahead of time about a few folks that wouldn't be back, and they talked about them over & over, which was nice, but I still wished they would have been there.

So far I just started I have finished Winter and just started the next one and not loving it at all. I like some of the characters but some just don't seem right and I am confused about a few things in the story as they just don't make sense. I assume by the end it will but am bummed. Still love Kirk. Its bad when you really don't like the main characters right now.

Hoping there will be another year. I noticed that Netflix has it labeled "Season 1". I was hoping that meant they were considering continuing it. But if the overwhelming response is negative, then I don't know if they will.

Finished watching it this evening with my sister and daughter. On the whole we were not impressed. There were good parts but mostly it seemed to be filled with things that didn't really enhance the story line. We did like Winter and Fall the best. I hated how it ended. HATED.

I actually didn't hate the ending. I figured it's a chance for a change in that character that I might actually like.

Gilmore Girls has always had weird, quirky parts that didn't have a thing to do with anything, so I didn't mind that those types of things existed, but I wish they had spent less time on some of them.
I personally didn't feel that we needed a short film and a play, and while I liked parts of the play, I felt it took too much time up overall. It gave Carole King a chance to be on camera and I liked that, and I liked the last song that spoke to Lorelai, but I didn't think we needed as much of it as we saw.
And in the summer I got tired of the pool scenes almost immediately.
Oh, and I really didn't even get the April scenes. They were short and choppy and I felt like I didn't even know why she was there. On the flip side, I had been concerned about what they had cooked up in regards to Christopher, but was glad to see how they handled his scene and even felt a bit bad for him. And that's pretty rare for me.

Annoyed as summer stopped a couple of times and now is going again but the quality is bad really bad it looks like something I recorded on a vhs machine back in the 90s - so blocky.

Did I miss the part about the letter? Emily said Lorelei wrote an awful letter to her but Lorelei said it never happened. Was that cleared up?

I cried when Rory decided on her perfect place to work, too. Even as she was just meandering around I was feeling weepy, but once she opened the door, forget it. I was a goner.
