My 85 year old Mom had her thyroid removed last October, and had the radioactive iodine treatment early January. She's doing great, and so will you!!

Just read your update.
(((hugs)))
Better that the doctor caught it, and has a chance to completely remove it and give you the required treatment.
Hugs and prayers for your wellness.

Thanks for the update, I've been thinking of you! My BFF's daughter did the radioactive iodine a few weeks ago and has been doing really well, so hopefully you'll have the same result. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!

lisa for some reason I was thinking your surgery was today but just realized it was last Tuesday. How are you doing? I hope you are healing and all went well. It has been a week now. I'm home and things are going well. I will have the drainage tubes in for another week. This didn't remove all of my cancer, but will slow things done for me, and for that I am thankful. I will be keeping you in my prayers!

I'm glad to hear you are recouping. Will continue prayers and positive thoughts for the rest of your journey to go well.
