Still working on brain hats. I'm knitting the hats while dh is almost done with the cords. I'll spend a day or three sewing the cords on soon.
I'm knitting baby socks for my craft booth.
Still working on my temperature scarf every Monday. I'll post my progress on Monday.

Love what everyone has been doing! I've been waylaid by all this purging and decluttering, as well as a master suite remodel so haven't been creating anything. My goal is to get back into the sewing room this week and actually start sewing! I'm starting to really miss it! A couple of friends talked me into doing this Block of the Month Christmas quilt. The first block has arrived and I need to get started. It's my first time to do work with wool fabrics in a quilt so I'm a bit apprehensive about it. I decided to machine applique rather than by hand so that it has an actual chance of being finished by Christmas!

Thanks for the link suzastampin - I like that and may use that pattern instead. The band is much nicer. That's what I thought, also. I gave 6 for Christmas gifts and everybody loved them. It works up quickly, also.

I found something to do while on bedrest. Putting the fringe on baby skunk afghans! I had crocheted them a few years ago but never put the fringe on. Had to have DH search out where I'd stashed them but now I have a great task to work on. Not that there's a baby in this year's plan. That wil have to wait till we are full time Florida residents.

Just finished a set of 1/12th bedding made from scraps of machine embroidered bridal silk. Hand quilted and silk lined with bows and more trims than I usually use. The other pic is of a few new minis including a bath rack and dolly pegs my OH made for me. I did the other things and re-painted a poor cat figure that I bought for 50p, made him a bed and litter tray. Still to finish are 3 more bedding sets and blankets.

Really eye-catching. I love working with rainbow batiks. I did this one a few years back and still haven't decided on the borders to finish it. It is very, very heavy because of all the seams so I'm waiting to finish it until I move into my DD's room so I'll have space for a table next to my machine.Attachments:

Those are great. I especially like the mosaic style ones. Do you sell your candles? No, but I'm thinking about it. These are recycled from candle ends from the church, and brought by the parishioners. Last month I set them out on a table with an honesty box. The cream-colured wax gets melted down into candles that the church uses, and these are made from the coloured and white wax. Your rainbow quilt is stunning!

SweetieBugs that quilt is stunning! I just now put in the last stitches of the baby blanket I've been working on. Just a few stray ends to work in and blocking needed now - dead on target, baby is officially due 21st March, but expected to be delivered early as he's looking very big! I added a scalloped border as I felt it looked unfinished without it. Really pleased with how this has turned out. In preparation for Nuts About Squares CAL, I decided to try a square from some yarn leftovers by following Esther's videos. Up until now I've pretty much only learnt the most basic stitches, so a bit of practice before I start on the good yarn seemed like a good idea! I eventually want to make the Charlotte's Dream blanket, so as she has videos for the Charlotte square that's what I went with. This is the last pic I've got - since then I've added the opposite triangle. Not sure if I will have enough yarn of the same colour to do the others. (Note that I haven't bothered weaving in any ends as this is just a practice piece, I'd never leave them to the end for real!) In amongst all that, I'm still working away steadily at the Coast Ripple blanket - currently somewhere between a third and half done. It's good to do in front of the TV and if I haven't finished it by the time the CAL starts, will be useful as a bit of relief I think. No pics of that just yet.

I love everyone's work!!! I love these threads! One day I'm going to figure out what is wrong with my sewing machine and make a quilt! I love handmade quilts. My grandmother used to make them and sell them for $50 a quilt. Back then, it was a tidy sum of money! I finally finished the afghan I was making for my mom. Blue is her favorite color. I started it in November and so it has taken me 4 months to finish! I'm very slow. I had to take frequent breaks to rest my hands. Anyway, here it is:

Happy to see and read about what everyone is accomplishing. For me - nothing. One really can not cut sheets of glass in bed - which is where I've been the past 2 months. First month from a bad fall - second month from a DVT clot from the first problem. Hope you are feeling better real soon. off topic...is that a pet possum? It's so cute.
