I am not offended when non Americans quote Americans. If someone posted something I liked, I would use it. If I found the quote itself offensive, I would not. Someone's in depth understanding about every facet of someone is not necessary to like or not like something they say. Yeah you’re right. She, and anyone else, can quote who they want. But as someone who has had to deal with the shit that is British politics, David Cameron isn’t someone I’d quote. But yeah she might be his biggest fan. My post was a flippant remark as a Brit whos shocked to find David Cameron quoted by an American scrapbooker lol. it is totally ok for you to feel how you feel about it Very few people are aware of the way that Nike "Just Do It" came about...but people say/love it anyway ftw.usatoday.com/2015/03/story-behind-nike-just-do-it

Wow, did I walk in with muddy boots or what when I asked about the David Cameron quote... 1. Thank you, paperamy, for finding the Christmas speech this was taken from. It was one of Cameron's more controversial Christmas speeches as the country's PM for which he got called out for by secular British organisations if I'm not mistaken (or was it another year he went on about the Christian values of GB?). #votepandering 2. People can quote who they want. That's fine. However, I don't want that David Cameron in my scrapbook. 3. As a European citizen, Cameron's mess is still being dealt with today. Brexit much? I know there are people in favour of Cameron's controversial conservative views and (failed) political strategies (again, he brought on the Brexit referendum because he genuinely thought people would vote in favour of remaining in the EU #awkward). But I don't need this kind of hawt mess reminder in my December Daily. I'm fine with other people who stand behind Cameron wanting that quote in their album though. You do you, boo. 4. Some people like a quote for the quote. Other folks associate a quote with its context. I'm from the latter bunch with peachiceteas it would seem. That's all. So far, the only 12 Days of Giving freebie I'm likely to add in my album is today's "May your days be merry & bright", I think. Fingers crossed something more original ( and not controversial ) I like pops up during the final days.

On a “non-quote” note, I got my kit today. I loved the shipping envelope too. The shipping label came off easily, and I will even be reusing the shipping envelopes. Nothing from this $10 kit will be wasted. Love it! Oooh. I like the big envelope you got. I just got the generic small yellow puffy mailer envelope. But at least it's here!

I figured everyone had the same shipping envelope. I hope I keep getting these because they are nice and will be great to reuse!

Got mine Tuesday, also in the fun shipping envelope. I like the kit a lot, especially the stamps.

I haven't received mine yet either. But I'm in Washington state so things usually take a little more time to get here when coming from the east. I hope mine comes today!!

I didn’t even have to tear open the perforated part to open the envelope as it wasn’t sealed closed that great so it looks brand new and ready to be reused.

Mine did not even ship until Tuesday It is supposed to be here tomorrow. I am still waiting on mine as well. You'd think if I subscribed to the Story Kit, Story Stamp and now the monthly kit that I'd at least get First Class Mail or real UPS. Instead, I get the UPS Main Innovations thing which easily adds 4-8+ business days to my delivery. When I have complained, I'm told they use a "complicated" shipping formula. Well now I use a "complicated" formula to - it's called buying as little as possible. If I can get my Studio Calico kits 2 days after shipping, why can't I get the Ali kits so quickly as well? I've even purchased add-ons in the past to up the weight and that didn't help so now I just don't bother. I suspect some are getting their items shipped First Class and others are shipped via UPS Mail Innovations. I really shouldn't have to wait almost 2 weeks to get something I paid for. I subscribe to everything as well. I take every class she offers and buy almost everything she puts out. I have sung her praises on this board as well as FB and anyone else who will listen This has a bad taste in my mouth. I shall see how next month goes I guess.

Maybe she wanted a unique OLW that no one had ever used before and that no one else would ever use in the future? Well you’re right about that...no one will ever use it because it’s not even a word. This whole “unique word” for OLW is bullshit. I’ve seen people pick words that they’ve probably never heard in their life, they only found it through google. Like people of non-danish origin picking Hygge. I was going to use better, but I want to be a cool kid, so I’m going to chose a new unique word because I want to be super trendy. OFFTOPIC: I ❤️ her hair! So fetch for reals.

I'm still waiting on mine as well. It shipped on the 15th via UPS with a tracking number. On the 17th I received an "update" that they switched my shipping method to something "even faster." No, no they did not. It's now USPS due Friday. I don't remember for certain when the original arrival date was, but I know it was sooner than Friday.

Mine arrived yesterday. I love everything Hopefully all the shipping problems get straightened out, and hopefully people do not have to wait so long for them to actually ship.

Still waiting on mine too. Shipped Monday and was supposed to arrive Thursday, but now the tracking just says that it’s “delayed”. No updated delivery date. Not a huge deal of course, but kind of annoying.

I just want to say I think it is really shitty of AE to offer the 2016 OLW stamp for $13.99 but then offer a 2016 OLW mini kit with the SAME stamp for $5.99. I feel bad for the people that get screwed on this.

I finally remembered to open my For the Love kit. (it arrived while I was traveling) It was in a bubble mailer which doesn't bother me as it came usps (my first choice shipper) I took apart my review kit so I have a clear pouch to use.
I am a sucker for add-ons and I got those chipboard hearts that looked cute and at $4 seemed like a good deal, but it's a 3x4 sheet of hearts. Yeah, that is a ripoff. The plastic hearts are nice though and I'm sure I'll make good use of those.

SaveSaveIt irritates me that they don’t put any description on the add on listings. I’ve seen people ask questions on Facebook and Ali asks them if they’ve watched the product video. We, the customers, shouldn’t have to watch a video to get information about products. Not to mention, sometimes Ali herself doesn’t know in the video...I’ve seen her say something like “I don’t know how many sheets are in this pad”.

I got the did you watch the video when asking about the size of her new index tabs and the video didn't say what size they were. I think 3 other people also asked before she agreed to put the size on the website.
