My first week of PL was 2022 and I put it all in my PL album. I wish I had just done a separate album. It turned out to the be last week of the 6 month album and it was a 6x12 album and it’s crazy too stuffed and awkward. The next year I did a stand alone 6x8 album and I will again this year. I haven’t been able to watch the video (work!) but I’ll comment after I do.

for the WITL release there are a few shop items that I like and may pick up (white week transparencies etc). I am not a fan of cream/off white or gold, so both kits are out for me. too bad there is no liz kit this year.

Also, I'm ending project life Nov. 30 with one picture or card or something about December Daily. I just can't do both. And I LOVE dec daily. I'm going to do that separately. Blemon, in the past when I’ve incorporated WITL into PL, I basically did a full spread for each day of the week, or one whole side for each day, with the last page (the 8th, since m-sun is an odd number) being an overview/summary of the week. I’ve also just added extra inserts. It just depended on how much I wanted to add. When I did weekly PL it often felt redundant to also do an all-out WITL. This sounds good. I was thinking since I'm doing 9X12, I would use 6X12 inserts and only have one side for each day, not the whole thing. So the back of the previous week would be Monday with some intro stuff. Then 6X12 inserts for T-Sun (3 total). Then the "front" side of whatever week comes next would be some stuff about the whole week. Just thinking it through. I want to keep it simple and formulaic. I also want to buy all the things which is a stark contrast. Question - has anyone ever seen a 12 tall page protector with 2" squares? Even if those are mixed in with other sizes?

Well, I did not have WITL on my must do list this year, but the preview today definitely has me interested. One of the things I love about this project is that I like the Ali formula approach and it's only one week so I can usually hang with it most of the week. I still usually have some loose ends that do not get done, but I always am glad I did the project. I love the colors and the creativity/multi functional nature of the collection this year. Some years are definitely easier to use than others. I am thinking I will do 6x8 as I typically do and likely get both kits + several of the shop items, but no stamps. The day of the week stamps are fun, but I don't think they are super versatile so will be skipping those. I have some great WITL stamps from prior years so will reuse those. I also really liked that Ali is going 6x8 this time - will be easier to get inspo from her posts . I think those plastic banner pieces will go quick!

I really appreciate the effort made to keep things the same color for each day. I do like the colors (based on the poor quality IG video) but not necessarily when they are all together. This definitely sold me on the main kit. I’ve tried to do a rainbow approach (as in one color per day) and it bugged me so much when things were off. I appreciate that they went this route this year, though there are probably too many things with the days on the week on them to use them all in the same project. I’ll probably grab the main kit but work in CT TN size like I have been. The 4x6 cards should work cut down to 4x4 if I want to use those.

I appreciate them keeping consistent and having a specific colour per day, but these are not my colours as a whole. I just cannot do the mustard yellow, I know that’s so you can read it but I would prefer a bright yellow outlined in black rather than a brown mustard yellow. I also dislike having two pink days. I dislike the number of cards and embellishments etc that mix pink and red - I just can’t have those colours together!!! Reminds me of the 2020 witl collection. I don’t think I will get either kit. I like the font this year, and love some of the shop items, but will consider purchasing them (not on my “have to have and will stalk the internet to get them” list). I like the chipboards. I love the black and white album but would use it for a different project as I do 3x8 albums for week in the life - I find that this size helps me to finish the project rather than having it half completed. So basically I’m exactly where I was last year on the kit for this project! This year I will use one of my pre set up albums from past kit items that I bought on sale for this project I think… And I miss the paisley press kit as that was usually more my vibe.

Well, I was surprised to find I liked so much as the last two years of WITL weren’t really my style. I love the black and bold colors. I was thinking before seeing it all I might just make do with mostly stash things but now I think I’m going to get a lot. Getting the album. Black and white patterns are my kryptonite. Add words? Must have for me. Even though I bought that last black and white album with the messy circles planning on using it for WITL. Oh well! Lol . Will get the main and mini kit. Do I need it all? Hell no. But I like it and see many usable items I can shift to my PL which is important as I’m growing quite disenchanted with the SBTM kits. Didn’t care for any of the stamps so I’m safe there. I probably would have bought an alphabet of the mixed font so I’m kinda glad there wasn’t one. For extras I think I’m also mostly safe. Depending on savings on shipping I will add the days of the week dividers and that journal. Do I need a journal or plan to use it? No, but remember: B&w= can’t stop myself.
Looking forward to the project! Dd is the most fun to do the pages but WITL is my favorite album to revisit.
* I took some screen shots while watching an already found a typo. Sigh. The reason why card appears to say “…into into” vs “…intro into.”

If I had been doing a bigger size album it probably would have been ok. —or at least better. 5. I think if I decide in the future I don’t want to do a whole 6x8 WITL, I’ll do a smaller size so it is its own album rather than in my PL but that’s just me.

I subbed to SBTM the first year it released. I canceled at the end of that year because there was so much repetition between the cards, ephemera and stamps. I bought all the 2022 kits when they were deeply discounted and used them for 2023. I'm am now subbed this year. What I have noticed is how much repetition there is from the first year I subbed and this year. Exact same chipboard sentiments, just different colors. I really notice because I have all my chipboard organized and now I have two sets of yes and no ovals, two "a lovely day" ovals, etc. exact same font and shape.
It doesn't bother me too much, but I notice.

It’s a nice collection. I appreciate the thoughtful designs, I like the font, I like that there are at least 7 of everything, I like that they included a reason why card (this should be a given), and I love the black & white album. I’m just not feeling super excited like in years past.
The colors are fine but I prefer brighter colors for this project. 2021 & 2022 were my fave’s. Also not a fan of the pink & red together. I’m really feeling the need to simplify my scrapbooking this year. I don’t have a lot of extra time or energy right now. I’m not doing OLW at all and I’m having a hard time getting my PL started for the year. This is my favorite project so I don’t want to skip it but I’m thinking I may just do it in the journal this year. I have one from the 2023 collection and I loved how Krystal Idunate and Morgan Beal used the journals in years past.
We’ll see. I’m sure once I see the products in action I may change my mind but right now I’m hoping to stash bust and buy next to nothing from this collection.
ETA: I don’t like any of the stamp sets which is shocking. I usually buy all of the WITL stamps.

I like the kit this year but I don't know if I will purchase it or not. I have told myself if I can get done with DD before it goes on sale, then I will allow myself to buy it if I still want it. I am on Dec 12, so I am going to need to pick up the speed for that to happen (though, I do have a random page or two done for later in Dec, so its not a full 12 days left.

I LOVE it all pretty much ... the kit and the 6x8 album are especially good. I'm glad that the colors are consistent across the project this time. That always annoyed me in the past. I love the font used this time. I'm excited about the project which is one of my favorites each year.

I haven't purchased WITL supplies in years (because I never finish this project... sigh), but I LOVE this release! The bold, bright colors and graphic feel are speaking to me. I might end up getting the main kit and the 6x8 album. The You + Me kit is super cute, too...
Completely off topic, but has anyone else noticed that Ali isn't wearing her diamond engagement ring anymore? It was (is) a beautiful ring and I'm surprised she's not wearing it anymore.

I guess I'm the odd one out, in that I'm not digging this year's WITL offerings. I think it's the font - it's giving me mid2000s vibes.
At least my wallet is happy! 🤣

I haven’t done a WITL but I always hear that it’s everyone’s favorite project to look back at. The bright colors against the black would be inspiring, but I just don’t know how different my M-F looks from day to day since I WFH. Does anyone else run into that issue or have any advice?

I'm not loving the WITL selections. I will probably use my digital Daily Quarterly Kit instead, along with bits and pieces from my stash. I did most of my WITL digitally last year, and that seemed to help with getting it done. My life is pretty quiet, so I was able to fit two years' worth in one 6X8. I'll be having surgery around the time that the community does WITL, and there are pros and cons to doing it at that time. I'll wait and see how I'm feeling.

I've heard some people try to frame each day differently- so maybe focus on a different type of action each day. For example, reading one day - newspapers, websites, meeting agendas, memos, reports, etc to mix in both professional and personal reading. Or talking to - maybe clients or colleagues or neighbors or family members. You could also do something centered around your weekly routine - a Monday morning check in meeting; Friday close out the week meeting; check ins with your boss, subordinates, or peers. I have never actually scrapped a WITL while it happened, but I have taken pictures. I look through those old pictures and it amazes me how much of the same old, same old from years ago is no longer a part of my life.

The one year I did WITL was 2020 and I was (am) a SAHM - so my days look very similar every day. I did a focus each day (lens? I think Ali calls it) - mostly for my journalling but I did try to bring in photos that fit that as well. I think if I had a daily routine - maybe focus on before work, mornings, lunch, afternoons, after work - one/day for documenting - and then the weekends

I really love the colors of this year's kit. Also happy Ali is doing 6x8 this year. I love to scraplift some of her pages, but it's so hard when she does 10x8.
I am highly considering the buy all option.

The bright colors against the black would be inspiring, but I just don’t know how different my M-F looks from day to day since I WFH. Does anyone else run into that issue or have any advice? I’ve thought this of my week every year - part time work and sahm on the other days for years now - but each year has had something different and unique for that year that I forget about later on and remember when I look back through my albums. In the past if my week is looking a little bland I’ve focussed a day on another family members routine for that week - appointments, tasks, etc. I even focussed a day on the pet fish we had at the time and cleaning out their tank. We no longer have the fish so this “normal” weekly routine has changed. There are four of us in the family, so with pets that made five days worth of content, and then the weekends were easier to find something unique to scrap about. I find looking back through past witl content online helped me find unique things to talk about each year and made the project interesting when I felt it had the potential to be same old same old - weekly routines (this was esp good during covid in 2020 as it was so unique), colours, numbers of things, one year I highlighted all the different places I get coffees in the morning (and had fun trying new places to fill in the album), the generic “picture of my shoes and where I was standing” each day. Made taking the photos more fun. And doing the project 3x8 size means I finish it each year as those albums are quite small so I have to be concise.

The only thing I’m temped to buy are the plastic banner flag things. I also like the vellum pockets, but those are only included in the kit.

This is one of my favorite projects of the year and I’m relieved that it’s finally consistent in color for each day. Personally I would prefer a sunshiny yellow over the mustard, but I hope its better in reality than in the video. For the first time I‘m considering the buy all option, because i always regret later, that I didn’t buy all the the stamps, because they are useful in upcoming projects. Stamps I would totally get if they would do a restock: the one with the many bold ing words from 2019 the work stamp and the weather stamp from 2021, this is us stamp from 2022. and finally last years phrases stamp would match this years font so well, but that I didn’t get also.

After seeing the blog post, still like this collection. I am going to get out last year's WITL album to look through and think about what worked and did not. I have a bin of old WITL stuff, so it's not like I could not just work from that, but I do love a good collection to create continuity in color and design. I also agree with the people who posted in the comments on the blog that an alpha stamp set matching the alpha in this collection would have been great to have. I am going to hunt for a matching font and then I also think Heidi Swapp has some good graphic vibes alphas that would coordinate.
Actually, it would be good to crowd source some ideas on graphic fonts and other lines with graphic stamps, etc to coordinate.
The mini kit is timely for me bc we are about to be empty nesters so feels like one to get.

sonnejo Totally agree about the stamps. They always sellout and I still regret missing the Work stamp and the large phrases. I still search for them on mercari and ebay regularly. Wish they would do a restock of some past WITL sets.

Riddle me this, my two favorite yearly projects are December Daily and WITL. I have a MASSIVE collection of December products, like 2 Art Bins full. My WITL stash is one tiny little zipper pouch. Every year before WITL I get all excited to go through my stash and then I'm sad because there isn't much. I must be better at working those products into my regular stash.
Anyway, super excited about this collection. I'm doing 6x8 and all the kits and bits except pleather circles. No stamps for me, they aren't my thing. I'm getting the mini kit/journal bundle. I always print and bind my own WITL "workbook" for daily note taking. This will just be easier for $5.

My WITL stash is one tiny little zipper pouch. Mine too! I also think I buy less WITL stuff because only Ali sells it. I buy Christmas from anywhere and everyone. My bin holds 32 quarts. I have no idea what that translates to in paper and washi and alphabet stickers but that's what Target says it is. I bought the daily scrapbook kit digitally so I'm going to work from that for my cards and just buy all the extras. I like them all. I will use the vellum sheets for all projects and the half circles for other projects as well. I think they are very versatile. I'm definitely doing WITL in my 9X12 project life. I'm going to come up with a formula and I have some ideas to make it work. I just need to go through my page protectors to see what's going to work but I'll end up with 7 columns (one for each day) and some sort of extra column to start off the project. I like doing it with the rest of the community as it keeps me motivated. That's just also the last week of classes when I'm going to have loads of grading to do.
