It’s been mentioned on the Christmas in July thread by craftymom101 that there’s a Christmas in July sale on the ae site at the moment. Also the pieces of us items are also for sale as of today - I love the”pieces of” projects soooo much and am so excited for this release! I also just wanted to give a shout out to the ae team who have both spellings of “favourite” on the stamp - really appreciated by those of us who have a little voice in our heads telling us the spelling is wrong every time we use a card with color or favorite on it 🥰🤭 |

OHHHHH I LOVE IT!! I love it that it's the same colors from a few years ago and I hated it then, and didn't buy any of it! YAY!
The bright green floral and more bright red red's of the last 2(?) years sucked me in. I may get another stash busting year!
Definitely too soon to be super stoked, but----------- it's looking hopeful!

I didn't figure these die cut pages were all that popular since they always make it to the big sales- you'd think they'd want them to be versatile for other years. I like those colors so far and I actually like that die cut, although I have not loved them every year. Looking forward to seeing more.
Without Paper Person, a meh 49 & Market + Crate Paper releases, I am just not seeing anything I want to buy for DD until now. I “should” be just using my mountain of stash, but I definitely want add some new inspo so hoping this is it.

I’m just hoping that die cut will fit in a 6x8 otherwise I’d never be able to use it… and chopping off a letter so it reads twent twent four just wouldn’t work! That’s why I didn’t get the cardstock inserts last year as I couldn’t use some so I thought it was a huge waste of money and I’m the person who usually has them in my cart first up!

Sneaks are fine. I was hoping for something a little lighter and brighter, these colors seem very somber to me. Also not thrilled with the focus on the 8x10 album size.

Do we know if the focus will be on the 8X10 size? I can't imagine it's all that popular, but who knows. I prefer 6X8. I like the idea of the die cut, but I always feel like it's too flimsy. I tend to keep most of my pages in page protectors to keep my layouts from being too fragile. I like having something to look forward to, though. I have a lot of Christmas stash, but something new would be nice. |

I like the idea of the die cut, but I always feel like it's too flimsy. Whenever I use something like this (and I usually cut one or two per album with my silhouette), I layer it on top of pattern cardstock. I don't adhere them but I turn them at the same time. And Ali's are always thick and good quality. |

I love the die cut. I'm still working on last year's DD so I wasn't planning to buy anything this year, but I also love the excitement of the DD release...

The papers are 8x10 again this year and the scale of the patterns are quite large, some will not cut down to 6x8 easily. I’m surprised that they keep pushing the 8x10 when the community does seem to prefer 6x8. |

I rarely love the paper pack, this year is no exception. Gingerbread, huge bows, YELLOW in the stripe, huge prints. All nope.

The papers are usually my least favorite part. I just find the giant patterns and text hard to use. The colors look fine to me so far. But if something does have to be a miss to me from the collection I’d prefer it to be the paper as there’s so many options elsewhere (and in my stash). I count on Ali for fun embellishments and look forward to sneaks on those!

Looks like my stash busting year is a “go” as these are a definite no from me. I agree that lighter toned colours are more my vibe with smaller tone on tone patterns and icons. Sometimes I don’t want to have to make a paper with greatly oversized letters or shapes work, I just want to cut it to size and slap a photo on top.
Please note this is coming from a scrapper who finds a 12x12 layout too big now that she’s moved to 6x8, 3x8 and tn (5x8) sized albums and layouts.
The colours remind me of the travel kit and I know a lot of peas loved that so I’m hoping this kit is a hit for them even if it is not for me 🤗

None of the 6x8 are available, but there are a number of 10x8 albums. Maybe they like this size the most as they are the only company that sells it therefore they make a good margin for all the size specific items (page protectors etc)? Is it like trying to make “fetch” happen??? 🤭 |

Warehouse sale is currently on at the ae site - finally was able to pick up the elusive July 2023 stories by the month kit and got some good witl tab stickers too! I also got those tabs stickers- multiple sets as they were only $1.00 and very usable phrases. Tab stickers are one of my favorite embellishments and I use frequently. Yay that you got your kit! Lots of sales/deals today- I also bought stamps from Kerri Bradford and have something in my cart with Heidi- free shipping on stamps and dies. |

Does anyone have any experience with the SBTM waitlist? Like what are the chances of actually getting a kit when you're on the waitlist? Are you on it for several months before you finally get a kit?
I like my PL albums to have a consistent look with products throughout the year. It seems that every kit this year has been waitlisted. I sent a message saying I'd like to begin with January 2025 and asked if more kits would be available in the new calendar year - or just general advice to make sure I get a full calendar year (Jan-Dec) year of products. Jasmine replied saying to add myself to the waitlist now and basically hope for the best. I don't really want a partial year of products if they're even available. I just want to start a new subscription in January. Ugh.
