Anybody going to do DITL with her? I've been considering another WITL instead, but haven't picked a date to start... I’ve got several kits I grabbed on sale and really want to do a project with them I just haven’t really made the time.

@skellinton I did the same thing! This striped foiled mini binder, cream lined paper and pockets at Target. I looked at the AE Digitals and the structure just doesn't fit my way of organizing stories and projects. But I love finally having all those notes and things in one place. The pocket dividers come in hand for storing bits and pieces. I might pick up some graph paper for making card sketches too. which pockets did you use? Can you link them? I can't find a link on the Target website. They were in the school supply section with the mini binders. 5 pockets for $3.99 They have 6 holes and fit a 3 hole binder. They look like this.

Son of a gun. I was looking at my calendar to choose a day and realized I don't have a 6x8 album lying around. LOL! I somehow stocked up on 9x12 and skipped 6x8, which is my usual for WITL. I know I could use a 9x12, but I'd rather keep it consistent... Good gravy. Maybe I'll start it without the album.

I thought "holy crap" this is one heck of an album for DITL I was feeling like a real slacker for a quick minute before I realized where you were going with that post.

So, I'm not a subber right now but I am logging on to get at least the Story Kit and possible the Stamp Kit for this month's 'Home' theme. I'm hoping I like it because I have intentions on making a sentimental album about our current home as we are getting ready to put our house on the market.

Um...how in the heck is already sold out?! I don't think it's available to purchase to nonsubscribers until the 15th. Today is just reveal day for extras I think. Can you just start a month-to-month sub today to get that kit? SaveSave

Good grief...I was totally thinking it was the 15th. DUH! Thank you. I signed up MTM for the stamp and the story kit. I don't think next month's theme 'type' will interest me so I should be good this way. Thank you peas!

You're right, but I was thinking that you can't just "buy" the kit until the 15th. I thought the 13th - 14th shopping was for current subscribers only to add to their box. I'm sorry I didn't word that response correctly. SaveSave

So I am really excited for the theme of "home" because I am a total homebody and we've owned our house for about a year so I have a lot of stories about it (although I already told quite a few for previous story kits). I really like the transparency house shapes and Ali's layout with the timeline of where she has lived (at least that's what it seems like from the sneaks). I can't watch the videos yet because I'm at work and it won't let me click on the picture to make it bigger so I can't read the little banners or chipboard, or most of the cards, but I like the colors. The only thing I don't like are the cork numbers, I am pretty sure I still have some from a previous kit--although those were stickers and these look loose like the December Daily ones (which I also still have a ton of).
On the stamp, I'm so happy for the "let's stay home" stamp, I will get a lot of use out of that one! Some of the phrases are a little weird though... "numbers in this home"? I just don't get that for a stamp, if you like the phrase as a story prompt isn't it something you would only do once? Overall I like the stamp set though.
The SBTM isn't my favorite this month, but I still like it. I wish it wasn't quite so Easter focused and had more spring references instead. Not everyone is religious and even though I've participated in it nonreligiously as a child, I don't have kids so the only time we do anything for it is when we visit our niece & nephew for the holiday but we're not doing that this year. Even if we did participate in a full day of Easter activities... brunch, dying eggs, egg hunt, easter bunny visit (like we did last year) I feel like there are more embellishments/cards focused on that one day than I could use!

Can I just add that I really dislike that you can't expand the pictures anymore and that you have to use (when it works) the stupid magnifying glass? They did this to SC too and it just annoys me to no end. Is there a good reason for it?

also, some of the kits have been sold out going in... I am not sure what the numbers are like these days, but there has previously been a wait list for story kits. You may want to check that they do not start your sub with this months kit (fabric) if you really want home.

SO for the first time since I started SBTM I think the chipboard is wasted. 12 Easter egg chipboards? Really? Atleast make a few circles so they can be in another month other than April.

Like you I am not super thrilled with the SBTM kit, and for the same reason, but I think I will use a lot of it.

SO for the first time since I started SBTM I think the chipboard is wasted. 12 Easter egg chipboards? Really? Atleast make a few circles so they can be in another month other than April. They're more ovally than eggy...from what I can tell they are symmetrical top to bottom, not just side to side. I think that makes them a little less pigeonholed. I like the soft colors (the bold hot pink seems a little strange mixed in, though). Actually, yes, they are definitely ovals. The January digital 2018 kit uses the same shape. www.aliedwards.com/shop/january-2018-digital-kit

Yeah I think this is my least favorite one so far. Hopefully I'll like it more when I get it in my hands. So if the chipboard I think you can pass off as just an oval if it doesn't actually reference Easter on it (like the patterned ones) but maybe not. I get that this kit is supposed to be seasonal/holiday oriented which I like, but it should be geared to help you document the entire month, not just one day... even if I had enough to document about Easter to use all the Easter stuff what would I use for the rest of the month?

So sad I’m still on the waitlist and will likely miss the March kit. The stamp is awesome. Hoping I can find a kit for sale. Citygirl I should receive my kit in a few days. If you miss on the stamp, I'll send you mine. Citygirl I quoted myself to make sure you remembered who I was! Did you get the stamp? My offer still stands.

I don't understand how they can introduce a new kit that is technically not for sale. I don't like being on a waitlist there. I don't want next month's kit, otherwise I'd have agreed for a yearly subscription. KWIM? (It did happen to me.)

Another thought... I wonder what Ali's going to do for the SBTM kit for next month because it has a LOT of references for mother's day so the digital kit came with both Mom/Mum spellings.

She’ll probably not include any reference to Mom, so she doesn’t have to include Mum as well. Probably just stick to the ones with Mother, if I had to guess.
