I just want to say a huge "Thank You" because my kit was shipped on time and arrived in 2 days. It wasn't shipped via UPS/Mail Innovations. It was shipped via First-Class Package Service. I love the add-on journals cards too! Mine too all 3 subs + 3 addons. 2 days to CA I was shocked <3 USPS so much.

Ugh, my 1 SBTM isn't scheduled to arrive until next Thursday!! 😭 Ditto. And I live 90 min from Bowling Green. I’m starting to wonder if Story and Stamp subs get priority because they cost more per month to sub than the lowly SBTM subs. This month even though I received the email saying that my sub had shipped on the 15th I noticed it wasn’t until midday on the 16th that it actually entered the system.

I’m a sub to all three and last month mine didn’t ship for a couple of days, and shipped the slow method.

I will try not to just hoard them Yes! This is a result of your requests! We are also planning on releasing blank 3x4 and 4x6 journal cards in the Story Kit card weight for you guys later this year after you brought that up a while back. We loved that idea! I try to gather as much feedback as I can and put things into action when we can! There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that goes on that I can't always comment on, but please know we are always trying to do everything we can to be clear, have honest communication, and produce products you guys love! We may not always hit the nail on the head, but we strive for it as much as possible! We love our customers, and appreciate you so much! Thanks again for your support!

I was watching Jen Schow's April 2018 Story of the Month video this morning and noticed her organizer for her Ali Edwards' products and thought it was really smart. It's at about the 4 minute mark here: youtu.be/cp_rREP02r0So I looked up the organizer inserts for the Iris 12x12 cases and they are $8 each on Amazon Canada ($7.49 each on the Iris website for the U.S.) and was really pleased about the price so I bought 2. I already store my AE products separately from my other stash, in Iris cases, so I think this will be really perfect. That's all, just wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

So... I didn't watch the facebook live because I'm at work, but I did check out the blog post that just recently went up showing all of the new products. I have to say that Ali knocked it out of the park with this release. I love that the album + dividers are sold separately and the prices are fair and I am super excited.
If I needed a criticism I would say I wish there were some add on journaling card sets for people who don't want the main kit but want options, or want more journaling cards than in the main kit. But that's not a big issue and totally understandable because Ali rarely uses many of the cards in her own project.
Logistically I'm a little worried though--I hate that I have to type in a coupon code for free shipping while worrying about stuff selling out--why is there not the add to box over a period of time like with December Daily and One Little Word? I love that format.
Also, what time does it go live tomorrow!?!?
ETA: This is for the week in the life release, in case anyone was lost...

All looks great but I can see why this will be epic for those who want to participate in the project/love Ali supplies.
I’m gonna try and snag a “dimensional adhesive” bundle to use in my pocket pages but I won’t lose sleep if I don’t get one.

For the first time in forever - I am excited about WITL and the products. I am making my list now so I can put it in my budget.
The only thing that worries me is that the blog post says products wont ship til early April at the earliest. And she is documenting in early May. I hope that is enough lead time for everyone to get their stuff. Seems like it is cutting it really close.

My computers have always crashed during WITL or while I was working on it. I have two half-finished albums on my shelves. I'm not tempting fate since I have just got the computer back. More seriously, though, I don't like the kit much. I like the color palette, but I'm not into the items (big cork numbers again. Wood veneers. Same "dies" as what used to come with the Story kit. Recycled chipboards with the days of the week.) But I'm excited for the 3x8 album.

Count me among those excited for the 3x8 album! I think it will be just right for my style of documenting WITL. On the Facebook live she also mentioned that she will have a travel themed product launch coming down the pipeline- trying to budget carefully now!

I love WITL but I’m not loving the main kit. I don’t like the giant cork numbers, there aren’t that many journalling cards, and the chipboard with the Tue-Day, Wed-Day, Thu-Day would drive me batty.
That being said, I do like several of the shop items and I’m happy the albums are separate. I will DIY a kit for myself this year.

So something I don't understand - the 3x8 album is 1.5 inches thick and the 6x8 album is 2.5 inches thick. Why the difference in widths?

I purchased mine from my local Walmart with free pickup. It ran about $5 cheaper for 2.

I thought the same thing about all the Tue-Day things... the stamp and the chipboard. I think I am going to get an album and a few of the add on things and build a kit w/ those and my leftovers from previous kits. I have no doubt I will still spend plenty of money...just not on the main kit lol

I like the main kit a lot (minus the banner chipboards...and I LOVE chipboard usually), but it seems better geared toward a 6x8 size even though the 3x8 is an option.
I love that there is an album with DIFFERENT page protectors for 3x8, but I am not convinced that WITL is the best project for this size. DITL or even her monthly word-based story sub, I could see.
Someone talk me into it?
Also: Kudos to Ali for branching out of her design box a bit. I think a lot of us have said there has been too much repetition in the past, and although we see some repetition, there are a lot cool changes as well.

I wish I could get the rubber ovals separately. They look awesome! I like the rubber ovals, but am surprised there are only six instead of seven so you could have one for each day. Which day gets shorted? Seems like an oversight.
