I really like the albums and will probably try to get both. I’m still debating the main kit. I like some items and am indifferent to others (not really a fan of all the gingham cards). I really do like the variety of embellishments in the main kit.

I like the main kit a lot (minus the banner chipboards...and I LOVE chipboard usually), but it seems better geared toward a 6x8 size even though the 3x8 is an option. I love that there is an album with DIFFERENT page protectors for 3x8, but I am not convinced that WITL is the best project for this size. DITL or even her monthly word-based story sub, I could see.
Someone talk me into it? Also: Kudos to Ali for branching out of her design box a bit. I think a lot of us have said there has been too much repetition in the past, and although we see some repetition, there are a lot cool changes as well. I agree. My thought is that is was probably intended for DITL but didn't get here in time. I just don't think the album is thick enough to hold WITL.

Love the colors in the kit. It is happy and fun. Reminds me why I used to love Ali products. But why for the love of scrapbooking did she do bundles again?! I hate hate hate bundles. I hate them so much. I buy less as a result because I'm not settling on items anymore that I can't use or don't care for. For example I cannot use cork. It crumbles in my albums. I know I could swap bundle items with someone else but really don't want the hassle anymore.
Katie J if you are listening, not all of us like bundling! Please consider offering items on their own. This will also give you a better idea of which products are more popular than others. Make more of those products please.

I plan on buying it and holding onto it for another project.

I could be talked into splitting the WITL main kit if anyone is interested. Not interested at all in: the wood veneer, cork, about 1/2 the rubber icons, 1/2 the hexagon shapes , the paper pad and the chipboard banners).

Hmmm. Just got my first look at it. There's a lot I like about the kit and some I don't care for. I'm going to have to fine-tooth comb it. Not sure. Really loving all the black though!
Aaaaannnnd...this time there's a HALF-million dollar chipboard bundle just for me!!! 😂 🤣 (Seriously though, I'll buy it like always because I'm a sucker for chipboard!)

I'm not wild about the large cork numbers in the main kit--I am debating picking a different week because I don't want to do the same week as 2 years ago, mostly because my son's birthday is that week again (and I'll pretty much spend one whole day, if not more, delivering Mother's Day flowers.) I looked and if I push it back to June, I could use the numbers for the actual date (but I also don't know that I want to do it when my boys are out of school). It also feels like there's just one too many things that mention the day of the week.
I'm not wild about there being only 1 6x8 album choice because I really don't like the black. I love the 3x8 album, but not for WITL.
Otherwise I like the die cut & story card packs, but really don't need the sticker bundle or the chipboard bundle.

Just FYI reading some of the comments on Ali's blog and its looking like some of the rubber pieces she showed vs the pieces photographed are different. She says she is looking into it though.

So correct me if I’m wrong, because I haven’t watched any of the product videos. The protectors and dividers for the 3x8 will fit in the 6x8, right?
I’m seriously considering getting the 3x8 dividers for the 6x8 album, instead of the 6x8 dividers.
I’m more into this release than last years WITL release.

There’s one in the video that’s green and says “stories matter” that isn’t in the photo and the green one in the photo has the same saying as the gray/brown one (I can’t really tell what color that is - dark greige?). My guess is the viedo is correct.

I'm not loving the main kit and have decided not to buy it this year. I really like the cork, the wood veneer and the plastic day words but that's it. I like both the albums but I will probably stick to 6x8. I also wish items weren't bundled. I love the cork speech bubbles from one bundle, the puffy stickers from another bundle, and the heart chipboard from another. I won't be buying any of the bundles because I just don't like the other items that much. I do have plenty of left-overs from previous kits and am happy that I won't be spending a lot of money this time.

I'm debating about getting the 3x8 album for my summer trip this year, but I am not sure with the spine being only 1.5 inches but it feels pricey for what it is, depends on how much shipping is as I won't qualify for the shipping deal. The rest I am passing on.

Correct me if I am wrong... but have we ever seen AE puffy stickers before? I need more of those in my life . So far I am resisting the temptation to hop on board with a project that just isn't my jam because I like some of the product. But I am a number hoarder- so if anyone gets the main kit and wants to offload the numbers let me know

So, has anyone here decided on 3x8 this year?
Also: I wish Ali’s digitals weren’t so expensive. For $10-11 more, I could get the real product. Granted, with less flexibility.

After looking it over and trying to think about how I'd use the products I'm pretty annoyed the rubber ovals + the hexagon pieces only have 6 options... for a 7 day project?!? Which day can't match? It's soooo annoying.
I'll still use the products, but I'm super frustrated by this. Especially because Ali typically follows a formula for each day (and encourages others to do so as well) it seems like she would've wanted 7 herself and wouldn't have had this oversight.
Either way, I'm still excited and hope that nothing sells out before I can get it... I have already made my list!

Last year, purchasing the WITL kit got you the digital kit as well. However, it’s not included this year, which is a bummer.
Last years WITL kit included the album and free digital kit and the price was 45.99.
This year’s kit is 29.99 plus album is 24.99 so buying the kit and album this year is $10 more AND we don’t get the free digital kit.
Not really happy about that.

No answer still on the green rubber piece that I have seen either. She hasn't answered but I think for sure that the video one is correct (the script). It also shows that one in the header photo (the collection of supplies piled together with the "week in the life" text banner) that is shown at the top of the blog post. The other version is only shown on the full kit image and if you look closely the green one is identical (except for the color) to the dark grey one on the far left. So my guess was the initial samples or whatever they used to create that full kit photo accidentally used the grey die when making the green one. I highly doubt they would have two with identical sentiments... but then who knows? Seems like an odd mistake to make.

It has been corrected and the actual product is the green "Stories Matter" design that is shown in the video.

But it “works on their end” or at least that is the response to people on Facebook who said the website was having issues. 🙄 I got the bad gateway shit a few times and then it cleared up. I was able to browse all the products without getting it again. So it might be working NOW, but there were definitely problems the first few minutes.
