I didn't realize there were going to be the black/gold cards or anything that wasn't included in the blog post. So I made my shopping list from the blog post and went through and added stuff to my cart as fast as I could before the images even loaded (just based on the product names) and checked out. Of course, it doesn't look like anything sold out yet so I guess I could've had more time to browse but too late now. This is where I think Ali (and Inked in general) shoots itself in the foot with this FOMO. I was always going to buy these products, I didn't need to have a rush to buy them at 1 PM (I'm in EDT) to convince me that I wanted them. If I had instead been assured that I could've picked them up at my leisure anytime today I would've (1) waited until I was off of work; (2) spent time browsing the products and carefully considering each item and probably would've added in a few more items; and (3) would've browsed the rest of the shop to add in anything else I wanted. But, instead I got the 4 items that were "must haves" for me, frantically put them in my cart, entered my free shipping code and checked out all in under 2 minutes. I won't go back and add more now because I no longer have free shipping, plus it was a stressful experience and I had to do it at work which is technically not permitted (but really not an issue, although I would've preferred to do it on my own computer). Just seems like a huge mistake in the way its organized. But then, it's always like this... not sure they'll ever fix it.
I did the exact same thing - added my must-haves straight from the links in the blog post and checked out. Then I scrolled through to see what sold out and discovered all the sale items!! I even had a few of the cheap gray album in my cart and was considering other purchases to get to $50 for free shipping, since I had reached free shipping with my first order but couldn’t bundle or add to a “box”. The albums fell out of my cart as I was checking out, so I deleted the remaining $45 in my cart and decided not to buy anything else. Shame. Oh well, better for my wallet! I have to say that I’m surprised the 3x8 album and protectors didn’t sell out yet.

Did anyone else get a shipping email? I only ordered new WITL products so I was surprised to see it, but of course when I looked at my order online it's still showing as active--shipping link from email says a label has been created.
I can't imagine that it would actually ship anytime soon, but I also don't know why a label would already be printed and then held onto for several weeks...

Last year, purchasing the WITL kit got you the digital kit as well. However, it’s not included this year, which is a bummer. Last years WITL kit included the album and free digital kit and the price was 45.99. This year’s kit is 29.99 plus album is 24.99 so buying the kit and album this year is $10 more AND we don’t get the free digital kit. Not really happy about that. That's an easy way to raise prices, where fewer people are going to notice the increase....

I wonder when my shop order from today will ship since I added one of the WITL stamp sets to get me to a $ amount to use a coupon I had. Patience isn't my strongest trait 🙄

I got the error message as I hit "submit" but also got the confirmation email 2 seconds later. I liked knowing ahead of time what was available, even though I didn't see the black/gold cards before now. But I don't like dark cards like that so I only glanced at them quickly and decided against them. I didn't realize there were going to be the black/gold cards or anything that wasn't included in the blog post. How would this work? Even if you had seen all that was on offer, once its released its still a rush to buy/ whether its add to your box or add to your cart for checkout. I don't think I have ever been gteed that I am going to get something unless its a sub

I’m okay with the prices being a little higher, because prices increase, so whatever. But the fact that they are not including the digital for free pisses me off. It doesn’t cost them a penny to include this.

Gotta make up for the price of the stories by the month kit being what it is (for the 12 month sub). I'm still shocked they have it marked for such a GREAT price. If it goes up next year or they turn the chipboard into flat stickers, I may not continue. If they keep it AS IT IS with different graphics but the same content, I will sub to that kit until I die or quit scrapbooking.

I miss having 7 rubber pieces or 7 of the plastic shapes. I don’t get why there are 6 this time. ^ This!!! It is why I still haven't hit checkout on my cart. Why are there only 6 ovals and 6 hexagons? Where is the cohesion in that? When I've done WITL I work on a formula that uses the same design every day and I can't do that fully with this kit. Even if there was an addon I had to get to due so. I wouldn't be thrilled, but I'd do it. The other thing bugging me about the kits are sticker bundles are normally a no-brainer for me, but why are the phrase stickers cream? Nothing else in the kit is cream? That drives me nuts. So those stickers don't match or work with the kit IMO Overall I really like the kit and addons this year, and I want them. I'm just struggling to hit the buy button because of minor details that make the kit not feel complete.

I ended up not buying anything and I actually feel a little sad. I always love the WITL kits but this year I just wasn't feeling it. But it's ok, I have last year's kit and bits from 2016's and I am really happy to be using my stash. I liked two or three things from the main kit, but not enough to pay for the whole kit plus international shipping.

I didn't end up doing WITL last year because I was doing a full PL and it felt redundant, but I missed the project so I ordered the kit this year.
I hated the 6x8 album. Less of Ali's handwriting, please. I've very tired of it being all over my scrapbooks and will not use any product with it anymore.

I didn't buy a thing and I am perfectly fine with it. I bought it all, but I really can't do the "buy as soon as you can or it will be gone" deal again. That is too stressful. And freaking out when the server crashes. When it happens, you don't know that your cart will end up safe or that it will be a quick "hiccup." That was the most stressful 15 minutes I'd had for a while, yesterday. And yes, I realize it was just 15 minutes, #firstworldproblems, and that I don't have to do it...but there has got to be a better way to buy products. That having been said, I think I'm OK with the 6 hexagons and 6 rubber products because Ali will demonstrate a cool way to use them. Overall, I'm very happy with Ali and her team.

I bought some page protectors because I had already planned to do my own WITL using my stash. I'm not into the gingham she used, but some of the other pieces were nice, just not enough for me to purchase them this time. The 3x8 was a nice addition, but it's definitely too small for me.

I don't think I have ever been gteed that I am going to get something unless its a sub For December daily and OLW and maybe other releases Ali has allowed you to "add to your box" for a period of time, usually a few days-weeks. You have to quickly check out to "lock in" any purchases, but you can go back and add as many purchases as you want during the order period and have it all be combined for shipping. If it had been set up like that I would've done exactly like I had, but then gone back and probably added in some of the discount items and mulled over a couple of the other items a bit.
The only way to make it truly not a mad dash would be to do a true preorder which I would love but I don't see Ali's team getting stuff prepped that far in advance. Basically they would need to get samples produced and post images PRIOR to production and let people buy for a period of time. During that time nothing can "sell out" because it's a true preorder... THEN they put their order into the manufacturer for whatever was preordered (plus extra to sell regularly for people who missed preorder, replace lost packages, etc.). This would mean that we would have to preorder probably 6 months in advance of shipping. They mentioned considering it for December daily but I don't think it's realistically going to happen. We'll see.

I didn't purchase the kit because the digital isn't included. That's THE selling point for me.
I also don't like having to zoom over images. Just let me click the image, see it and decide if it's what I think it is. The zoom makes the image blurry and I don't have all day to zoom around section after section to try to figure out what I'm trying to buy. katiejaeger what was the reasoning behind not including the digital kit? It was such a bonus knowing that we could print a new card if we messed up one. SaveSave

Can someone explain why the cork 1-10 was included? I don't get why they would be in a WITL kit? It almost fills like a filler to me...something that was leftover from another kit (and yes, these were in another kit before). What am I not understanding?

I didn’t order anything either, I would have ordered some of the sale stuff and a few extras to go with it, but the sale stuff sold out before I could log on. Darn job keeping me from shopping. I don’t get a lot of the changes this time, pretty much the things mentioned. The 6 items instead of 7, the numbers 1-10, the digital disappearing, and I just am not digging the gingham.

I have 3 witl kits and you gals inspired me to pull extras from my vacation pix last month and turn that into a witl album. We were gone for one week exactly!
I’ll never put together a true witl I’m afraid. My life is so boring. Lol

It almost fills like a filler to me...something that was leftover from another kit (and yes, these were in another kit before). What am I not understanding? She always includes large numbers in the WITL kit, although I think they are usually just 1-7. Some people use them to number the days I guess. Ali has used them to number other things though, which is probably why she expanded it to 1-10, to provide more options.
Since she is documentation May 7-13, I wish the numbers were available to do those dates (rather than numbering Monday:1, Tuesday:2, etc.). But then, I get why they wouldn't do that (both because they don't pick the dates before production + a lot of people use the kit for other dates).
