If anyone cares, AE has her lifestyle stuff on sale. I guess the shirts weren't a huge hit? This was one of those moves that made me shake my head (and I'm pretty sure I expressed that clearly on here ). It didn't make sense then, it still doesn't make sense now. No wonder they have stock left and are already heading into sale price territory to get some stock moving... I don't think anyone's mentioned this, but yesterday AE posted she was starting a new wellness FB group. I wonder if she'll argue this sale was a way to encourage interest in this new group. I need to cut back on the FB, so I don't think I will be joining it.

I am figuring out I don't like Ali in wellness areas of my life. She's good at storytelling and scrapbooking. But I don't two cents about whether or not she got her 3 mile walk in. I just feel like she has her hand into too many pots. She needs to do what she does best and stick with that. I view her like I view Oprah: she's great at inspiring people (in Ali's case, scrapbook and tell stories) but I don't find her to be very knowledgeable/inspiring about wellness and health. I don't want Oprah telling me about losing weight either. I just think Ali is trying to be all-around guru and thats not something I want in my life. SaveSaveSaveSave

I just feel like she has her hand into too many pots. She needs to do what she does best and stick with that I should've figured Ali wanted to branch out into wellness not to add to her storytelling line but to just expand her brand when she didn't bring out a simple journaling card set about wellness/fitness/mindful living after creating her wellness account. I genuinely thought she'd start putting wellness-themed product on the market and was really excited about that prospect (we've been waiting for so long for someone to jump on this). Months went by, T-shirts were made, still no card set. Hello? You've got a herd of documenters following you, give them something to document their wellness journey along with yours! There is easy money up for grabs. Heck, you could expand to a new project about dedicating a week twice a year to take care of your health and wellness, that's another kit you could drop on the market (with a special binder and add-ons). I know I'd be in. Mental and physical health check-ins a couple of times a year? Yes. Great! With the mental load women are still carrying these days, this would be a welcome project. #droppinghintsleftandright

Yeah her wellness doesn't fit my "wellness" I don't follow that account anymore but doesn't surprise me she's expanding it to a group and I don't know if the merch is selling that well if they're running a sale on it? Or maybe it was a sale for the launch of the Facebook group?
But in the end, if it's making others get into making themselves better then that's great. I use my personal Instagram to track my mileage and share them with my running friends. I've gotten a few people to start doing their own wellness journey. So it can be a good thing, but just not for me.

Funny, I hadn't really noticed that she hadn't released a wellness documenting kit. Now that you say it, it seems SO OBVIOUS that this would sell well for relatively little effort. I mean, she's documenting her own "wellness journey" in her PL isn't she? I imagine there's some overlap between wellness and some of the OLW and Story themes, potentially, but a dedicated wellness card/product would appeal to an even broader market. Maybe something is already in the works... I know there's a long lead time on such things... ?

They had the lead time to produce the t-shirts and mugs. I'm not a fan of the current wellness products. The low quality overpriced shirts completely tainted and cheapened Ali's brand IMO. Having said all of that, I would love to see a wellness line of craft products. She does (most) craft products well. Cheap quality overpriced t-shirts. No thanks. Ever. Like ever ever.

The weird thing about these "lifestyle" side gigs is you don't often see the person wearing it. Maybe I'm wrong because I unfollowed Ali's wellness Instagram but I don't remember seeing her wear the stuff or use the water bottle. The only time I see it is when she's posting for an ad. I also don't see Becky (or her "girls") wearing her dress in random posts.
I fully commit that I may be wrong since I'm not paying attention to those Instagram feeds, but it seems like these "lifestyle" side gigs aren't really where the heart is so it isn't authentic. The only exception is the notebook and wrapping paper- those are obviously a passion Becky has which makes it genuine.

I'm just glad she created separate social media accounts for her wellness so I don't have to follow along if I'm not interested. Not everyone does that and it's annoying.
Yes, a wellness exercise kit is brilliant and long overdue! I can't believe it doesn't exist. I would buy it.

I’m not into wellness period but I can see where a documented type kit could be fun for a lot of people. More so than her over priced tshirts and water bottles.

If anyone is looking to sell their HOME kit or stamp, I am interested! New or used, I don't care. We are building a new house and this is perfect to document our journey to our new state and new home and new life.

Are we talking a one off wellness themed story kit or a new sub? As someone with a chronic illness with no cure (actually does chronic mean no cure? I have to check), my focus is that my illness is part and parcel of my every day life and does not define me. There is no way I want a mth to mth wellness kit.

I think a one off kit would be the best option for AE. Maybe after her Christmas in July sale she could offer it in August and time it with the new school year/new habits.

so I was thinking, lets brainstorm what we would like Ali to do. What would we like to see, specifically from Ali?
Top three for me, in order of importance:
1. blank grid cards - this seems like a obvious choice for her, but since SC isn't doing them anymore there, she should jump in and offer some. No doubt they would sell (I would buy a ton of them). 2. cards with a colored box around them thats blank inside the box. 3. health kit (NOT a workout kit) but one that focus on health.
I feel like for someone who wants you to tell your story, most of her products dont give you an actual place to write your story.

I still would like an exercise/move type kit because I like to do physical activity. I think lots of people do. Especially as I age, I find doing more physical activity makes me feel good. Also, something for our furry family members. A pet-type kit. I REALLY like your generic kits cards idea in #1 and #2 above.

I should add: she did have some generic cards as add-ons in last month's kits. They were really nice, they were plain lined cards. I stamped things at the top for my titles. It was either Ali or Katie that mentioned that they were thinking about making that available all the time in the shop, I believe. I think they put out great products.

I would love to see a kit by Ali without any of her handwriting in it. I know that's her "thing" but I don't like having someone else's handwriting on my pages. I love everything she does, the themes, colors, templates, quotes...I just wish the words were typed with classic typewriter fonts instead of loopy script. I'm sure I'm a minority but that's what I wish for.

Hi! does anyone have some of Ali’s earlier story kits they are willing to sell? I’m looking for Roots, Cheer, Magic, Go, Click and Gatherings. I started subscribing later and am hoping to get the last few I’m missing. Thanks!
