I would love to see a kit by Ali without any of her handwriting in it. I know that's her "thing" but I don't like having someone else's handwriting on my pages. I love everything she does, the themes, colors, templates, quotes...I just wish the words were typed with classic typewriter fonts instead of loopy script. I'm sure I'm a minority but that's what I wish for. I agree with you as well. I wouldn't mind if it was ocassionally on the cards, but I certainly wish it were less prevalent in the kits.

I just really want more wrmk albums 8.5 by 11 in different colours. It's getting so hard to find albums. I have one of the mustard colored ones that Ali used to stock and I wish I'd bought 5!!!

I think I'd be okay with an occasional non-handwriting set as long as all the stamps were useful and not weird quotes I'd never use, like that walking away one a few months ago. I know they're different kits, but less overlap between the cards and the stamps would be my request. I get both kits so I'm sure those that just get one or the other like the overlap?

I got my WITL kit this week. I realized it's my first large project kit from AE. I got a couple DITL kits last year, but never a WITL or a DD. Last time I did WITL (7ish years ago) I put together my own kit with the same repeated layout. I really like how that went and I'm planning to do the same this time.
I got the main kit, die cut bundle, sticker bundle, dimensional adhesive kit
Overall I'm pretty happy with everything except the daily pad from the main kit. The paper is really thin and the holes are askew if I was going to put them directly into my album, but seeing how thin they are they'd never survive if I did. the hexagons and ovals are going into my regular use box since there aren't 7 of them.
I'm "replacing" the hexagons in the kit with the circles from the die cut and might use the speech bubbles, but the basic die cuts have gone in my AE box.
I would have preferred if the word stickers in the kit and the bundle matched each other and the same with the puffy stickers. For me, I don't think they'll mix well together in my album, but I had to get the bundles for the cork flag pieces and the other 4 designs on the stickers.
I'm getting excited to do this project again and my husband agreeing to contribute again. Going to give him 1 of the daily sheets and ask him to take 1-2 pictures from work.

For those with paper pad complaints (I feel ya): a quick fix is to adhere the back to some quality white cardstock and punch through the original holes. I know it's annoying but at least you can use those sheets if you like them without worrying about the paper tearing. As for mom's idea about things we'd like to see from AE: 1. new card set(s) focused on wellness, health and fitness (heck, throw self-care into the mix!) 2. a kit in the same vein as I proposed earlier in this thread, something about actively practicing self-care under all its main forms during a given period of time like WITL/DD (no primary colours, kthanksbye) I'm digging the colours from WITL (although I did not purchase nor will participate this spring). Fresh, clean, easy to mix with other products and to coordinate with everyday photos. It's fresh meets current minimalist colour trends (greys, semi-bright pastels). I'd love to see this used for wellness products. Anybody got the 3x8 album from WITL? What's the quality like? Worth the $20? Is the cover paper matte? They've just been restocked and I've been wondering whether it might be worth the purchase.

So Ali posted a WITL Q&A blog post. She addressed this question: It might just be me, but I feel that is a condescending answer to cover the poor decision to only include 6 instead of 7 pieces of those items. Yes, Ali, YOU may have a plan to alternate hexagons and rubber pieces, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that you designed a kit where the entire focus of the project is to document SEVEN days, and you included only 6 pieces of each item. It’s a little insulting. If there were only 4 rubber pieces included, I would have less of a problem. I don’t know why this leaves me with such a sour taste...but it does.

And it's not the first time the answer to a Captain Obvious question gets a bit of a snotty answer from AE, unfortunately. I agree that if there was a larger variety of embellishments but only 3-4 of each, it wouldn't be a problem. But there isn't much to choose from (if you don't buy expensive add-ons) and just 1 lacking to make it a whole week. Can't figure out if it's Inked being stingy, Ali not having thought things through, a combination of both. Just a shame that issues like these keep repeating. I like Ali, we all do, but these are such easy fixes. The kits are not cheap. There really shouldn't be oh-poo-how-will-I-complete-this-project-now moments...

I’m not a fan of this answer. If it was an either hexagon or oval situation, there should’ve been 4 of each. I guess Ali knows that a large % people CASE, so if she only uses 6, they will also use 6. I still want my 7th of each.

They aren’t in my kit :-( I believe they were part of the main kit. If you ordered the main kit, you should contact customer service. I did not order the main kit this year, and plan to replicate the hexagons just cuz I think they are really cool.

I would like to see DT members who are more prolific stampers. I feel like Ali and the DT members rarely use the stamps. As someone who loves stamping I’m always looking for more inspiration to use them, especially as they are non consumables. I also wish the DT inspiration was shared at the beginning of the cycle not the end......this makes no sense to me.
A wellness kit would be great.

She generally uses a stamp in her layouts either to create a filler card or to make a journaling card.

Well this is my own fault I bought the WITL kit(received it last week) and I opened my box just to make sure I got everything I ordered but didn't open the kit to inspect it and after reading about some of the comments about the rubber pieces I needed to check mine and they are not in good shape. Mine have indentions and they all have a hole in them, it is like someone poked a pin or needle through them actually like someone poked them while in the package because they all have the hole in almost the exact same spot. So fair warning if you buy a kit check your rubber pieces.

Yikes! Missing items and sh*tty rubber pieces? I see Inked's quality control is still up there. Bigly, the greatest, you haven't seen a better one anywhere else! MAGA! Make AliEdwards Great Again.I hope everyone manages to find an acceptable solution to their kit problems!

I feel that at this point, they’re just making stupid mistakes. Ignoring customer feedback, not using their brains. They are not being smart at all. How much backlash will Inked get before they finally put their big boy business pants on and start making smart decisions? Six pieces in a seven day documenting kit is bullsh*t. It says to me - we can’t be bothered to think about our customers and how they might feel about this but we need to keep the kit as cheap as possible and charge as much. And because of that, it puts Ali in an awkward position where she has to give responses like that to save face. I wouldn’t believe it if Ali told me herself they chose to have six pieces in the kit. There’s no way. They’re just putting customer experience to one side and focusing on $$$$.

I agree. It does seem like an obvious mistake to only have six embellishments instead of seven for a week long project. It’s all about the bottom $. I’m also wondering why the specialty 3x8 dividers couldn’t be packaged with 7 of each design. Didn’t pay attention to that and now I’ll have to buy more to include them in my album.

I don't think AE really cares at this point. She's sold out to Inked, and she will ride that train until it goes belly up.
Glad I skipped out on the kit. Other than my stories by the month kit, I am sticking to buying only during her sales.

Hi all, I am coming on here to let you know I will no longer be reading this thread actively or responding to tagged messages. It has gotten beyond my comfortability level as an employee to read some of the things shared here, so I hope you understand why I am respectfully saying my goodbyes.
I really do want to continue to be a customer service advocate for you and listen to your thoughts because I highly value your constructive feedback!
So please feel free to email me at katiejaeger@icloud.com if you feel there is a matter that should be brought to my attention or have a question that you would like me to answer.
Thank you!

Well, I just got off of the waitlist for the Stories by the Month kit and look forward to it. I had subbed to the stamp and story kits for some time, but stopped after I had accumulated a lot and the themes stopped resonating with me; I like her style, so I'm hoping the seasonal nature of these kids will work for me.

I get the SOTM -I have to say, they are the best $10 I spend. Yes, there are things I would change (hello, no ovals!) but overall its a good deal.
