I'm prepping for WITL today. I never did before, but seeing as I lost twice (three times?) all my material for WITL, I might as well do that. I bought Ali's 3x8 templates (I debated it, mostly because they're nothing new) and changed the words on them to fit. I also translated last year's digital cards . Since I barely touched last year's kit, everything should match. Finger crossed. ETA: If you're interested in less, let's say conventional templates, I find Geralyn Sy's more fun (and cheaper). inacreativebubble.blogspot.fr/2017/02/prone-to-wander-3x8-travel-mini.html

I still can't decide if I want to do WITL or not, and if so, in a new album or in my current album. I'm doing a 6x8 right now and documenting month by month, but my album is totally gonna run out of space. So I'm tempted to switch to 9x12 and do that, and maybe WITL in that 6x8 album. I already have a 9x12 and the 6x8 so that's not a big issue. Mainly I prefer 6x8 cause it's so much easier to make 6x8 spreads!

Thanks for sharing.

The 3x8 albums have never interested me since there are so many things you can make your own covers from without spending a small fortune. I love the size but you can buy sheets of acrylic at Lowe's or Home Depot. I want one with wooden covers so my dad is in the process of making me a pair. Colorcast Designs has 4 wood veneer 3x8 albums coming to their shop soon http://instagram.com/p/BhrVNLxnqmU

I love the shape of the 3x8 but I wonder how practical it is for me given I take so many pictures and usually have lots of people and things to include. I could see using it for a weekend trip or DITL. What else are others planning to do with them?

karenbh I'm not sure how practical it is going to be for WITL either. I'm taking a chance! If it's not a good fit, I'll use a 6x8 album. My previous, unfinished WITL album had a lot of 3x8s pages and I like the results.

practicecroissant You don't have to decide yet. You could document your week at the last moment. There's no hurry to choose your size and album before that either.

I tend to want everything sorted NOW, which is a bit of a problem I may consider switching back to 9x12 for the year as there's no way I can do all of 2018 in one album, cute as I find 6x8! Though I could always have multiple 2018 albums. We'll see.

My kits arrived today. 2 days usps first class! Woot! It was in a bubble mailer.
Type Kit: The kit is so tiny if you take out the 3 alphabets. The chipboard letters are glossy so they're going to be a PITA to paint. Glad I didn't pick up a 2nd set. The colors in the kit are nice and spring, but I'm thinking of breaking everything up already as I feel the kit will be hard to use on its own.
Type Stamp: Seeing the mixed font words in person doesn't make me like it more. I can't even find a small stamp I'll really reach for. I have plenty of other small numbers in other story stamps.
SOTM: I have slight regret signing up for this kit. While the kit is a good value with the chipboard and stamp set. The cards haven't been as easy to use as I thought. At least they're single sided cards and a good weight that I can use the back for other projects. I prob will cancel at the end of the year.
Addon: I ordered a sheet of the white alpha and whoever packed my kit didn't place the alpha in well and it bent taking almost 2 rows of letters/numbers with it. CS already sending me out a new sheet.

I have the Story Kit, Story Stamp and the SBTM subs. I got my Story Stamp and my SBTM kit today in a big box. (along with the sheet of white alphas.) ONE DAY as always since I'm in Ohio.
But...my SBTM kit was shipped separately and sent through USPS Mail Innovations...grrr. I won't get it until next Tuesday and I'm a one day ship away. Dumb.

Did anyone who ordered those white letter stickers actually get charged for them? I didn’t. For things on sale, Usually doesn’t AE list the regular price in the invoice and then discounts after the total? My invoice has the discounted price on the stickers and ALSO subtracted the discounted price from the total. So I didn’t pay anything for the 6 sets of alpha stickers I got.

Weird. Mine went UPS and will take over a week to get to Texas. Mine also went UPS innovations and won't be here in Louisiana until Tuesday. My first sub, the fabric stamp, went regular mail and was here in 2-3 days, but the last two kits have been sent via that stupid UPS innovations and have taken at least a week. ughhhh

Reminds me of travelers notebook size so I’m sure you could pull inspiration from those designs too. I may have to buy one myself 🤪

Mine are actually crossed out and say $0.00. Interesting. I started a convo asking if it was a promo...

The one i screenshot is my emailed invoice. I don’t think it was a promo. I think they changed the regular price to the sale price but didn’t remove the markdown from the system, so it took the discount off again.

Here is the response I received. I didn’t see this response before I commented. Yeah, sounds like a website screwup.

Can we do a delivery date update for SbtM and Story Kit once they actually arrive this month? It'd be interesting to see how long the kits take to reach us depending on where we live (and which delivery method Inked selected)!
Tagging @millefeuilles to see if ours arrive at the same time since we live in the same region of France.

It used to take a week to get them, so I am super happy with this. And I love this kit. It is really versatile.

Story stamp and SBTM with a few add on's- shipped USPS first class in the envelope mailer "Shipped" 4/17 Actually in usps hands 4/18 Delivered 4/20
So 3 days to Indiana... don't get me wrong, it is better than surepost, but seems like an eternity when I can be at their warehouse in about 3.5 hours from my house.
In comparison, ordered some shoes from Zappos yesterday afternoon and they were on my doorstep by 10:00 this morning (also from Kentucky). Hence the 3 days feeling like a long time 😉
