So I finally sat through the live video of the DITL kit. I am glad to see Ali branching out and coming up with something new. Not a fan of the perforated strips. Something I am not sure about - on the cards there is a little space for the stamped number....but it looks like the stamped number is larger? Maybe it will fit but I remember thinking while I watched it that it didnt look like it.
Edited: I found another photo on her Instagram that shows the numbers on the card. I guess they do fit!

New DITL kit is up for sale. I really like the colors on the cards. But I hate perforated word strips . I think I'll pass on this one. I haven't liked those strips either, but on the December Daily page someone posted that they fit perfectly in the Avery index tabs that Ali lives to use. I'm going to try it out, but that could be a whole new world for the tear strips for me.

So I might be in the minority here, but I'm not a fan of the cards in the DITL kit. I applaud Ali for coming up with a new concept and I like the idea, I just am not a fan of the design of the cards. I think the number stamp set seems like a quality basic set, but it's not helpful for someone like me who has a large stash. I would've preferred number stickers (with enough of each number so you could actually complete the project).
I like the perforated word strips in theory--and I love the color of these ones--but I can't figure out an effective way to store them. Once you remove a strip in the middle, you have to tear apart the whole package and you end up with bits and pieces that are torn apart and it's hard to store them or look through them for the one I want. I much prefer the word phrase stickers--although on a side note, I'm not a fan of the new die they've been using for those with the rounded corners and all the gaps between the stickers on the sheet--such a waste of valuable sticker space!
So for the DITL kit, it's a pass for me.

White would have been a better match IMO.

I don't like the kit either (and I have ordered most of the DITL/WITL kits). Why is it "thank you's given"? It's not a possessive. And I really don't want a card for meltdowns (I don't want to remember them) or movies watched (I don't watch them) or money spent (last thing I want to document) or hours slept (either I am boringly sleeping enough, or I am not and don't want to whine about it in my scrapbook for eternity). There just isn't enough there that I would use to make it worthwhile for me.
That said, like others, I am glad to see a different format and change-up; hopefully future kits will appeal to me more.

Ugh the grammar mistakes, I didn't look closely enough at the cards before to see that one.
As far as the specifics of the card, there are 23 different cards with things to count--I don't think Ali expects anyone to do all 23 and I would be surprised if she does. There is no way they all apply to everyone--like the meltdowns card, I don't have kids so I don't expect to have a need for that. I also only do laundry one day per week, so the loads of laundry card probably wouldn't apply either. Although I like the concept of counting these things, I don't think there is any way I could keep up with counting more than a couple of things in a day. If I were going to participate with this kit I would probably choose 8 or so to track and use a 9x12 page protector with 9 3x3 spots, double sided, and alternate these cards with photos/a title card. But then, I don't usually do DITL, I think WITL and regular documenting is enough for me--I only was inspired to do DITL one time and that was when Ali came out with the cards that documented every hour on the hour--that concept really spoke to me.
I'm excited that Ali is still coming up with new concepts and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next.

I really like it (except for those phrase strips... I hate them all, not just these). I hadn't planned on doing another DITL any time soon- my last one was over a year before I actually "completed" the mini album. But this feels doable to me, as an insert in PL, and might capture more tidbits about our normal daily routine with 3 small kids. I could see the stamp set being used again for me. At this point in the year, I am running out of ideas (and number stickers) for title cards in PL. So any "new" numbers would get used for sure.

I'm always turning them this way and that so the light will hit them differently, trying to decide if they're even worth using.

It sounds like AE will make some 3x8 albums too. Ali made a comment on facebook hinting that they might have some coming for a future project.

Anyone know when the DD stuff ships? I haven't heard a definitive date yet. Just "mid or end" of October. I assume SC would be trying to ship the subscriber kits / bundling ATM and then move onto DD, but I can't keep up with all their projects anymore to be sure who ships when.

April posted on IG stories last week that they were getting the DD stuff ready to ship. There was a video showing the main kits in the warehouse. Considering how freakishly quickly they're mailing out the SC October kits, my guess is that the warehouse schedule dictates DD is supposed to start shipping around mid-October.

Kelly Purkey is supposed to have a 3x8 holiday album this year but I haven't seen any peeks for it yet. I think that size would be so fun with Geralyn's goodies! I believe she's going to sell it some time this month, but no definite release date for her holiday stuff yet. I really hope that Ali creates some albums this size. I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I am not sure when her release date is. michellegb Jamaica turned her well-known (and always sold out) 3x8 acrylic covers into a festive snowflake cut-out blue version for KP. Release date ought to come soon. Our guess is that she either aligns on last year's release date (mid-October) or sticks to the usual schedule and the items will then be up for her end-of-the-month shop update.

The promo card that came with my KP kit this month said her December daily offerings would be shipping with next month's kits. I guess that means she'll have them up in the shop by the end of the month.

Does anyone know when the shop updates happen.... seems like I remember it being a monthly thing. I am probably going to order the newest DITL but thought I would wait for the next shop update in case I find anything else I "need".

Nvm. I just saw that registration was back on June 27th for this month's Story Camp 2. I hadn't heard a word about it.

I thought we got them by now last year and tonight is the night to do the add ons for the monthly kits and those are supposed to start shipping on the 15th so I really expected them to ship by now as I wouldn't think they would be shipping both at the same time. I am not a patient person

I think they're starting DD now, I got an email yesterday that said it will be shipped this week.
ETA: I really hope it gets here soon because I have a super busy November with a lot of travel so I really need to prep my pages this month.
