The colors are the only thing I DO like!! Lolol These dresses look matronly to me (the length).

Not interested. The sleeves remind me of my one of my DD's skating outfits.

O.M.G. The Becky dress. More like The Clown costume for non-fashionable sheeple everywhere. Those 3/4 double bell sleeves. This is hideous and cheap looking. What is the fabric? A polyester rayon blend?

Fuglier than LuLaRoe.

Really, I thought this was a joke when I saw the subject line. I think they are trying to tap into the LuLaRoe craze, but I would never ever ever wear this.

And the cost is $16-$19. She is charging $45. But the sleeves are different! They aren't solid. She probably would like to be the Mormon Oprah. A lot of Mormon women are going to refuse to buy that dress. She is not a household name with Mormons. If I were to ask active members if they heard of her, I'd probably get a --->> or Scrapping is not a popular hobby. Most have moved onto photo books or keeping pictures on their camera like most people do now. Now, if she finds a way to publish a book and have it sold at Deseret Book and have a speaking deal at Time Out for Women, she'd probably get a big following. I personally care more about comfort than style, so I'm not going to judge the dresses too harshly. I just know they are not for me. Especially those sleeves. I do like the 3\4 length though. Really? I kinda thought she was. I travel to SLC every summer for work and I know I've seen advertising for in store appearances by her at the Deseret bookstore in City Creek, which I would think is like a famous musician playing at Carnegie Hall or Madison Square Garden. Or something. I'm on cold meds and metaphors aren't coming to me tonight! Anyway, that's interesting to know. I would have considered her a Mormon celebrity up there with Lisa Bearnson and Dina Wakely.

I don't think she's a big deal anymore, but then again I stopped attending church probably at the height of scrapbooking. City Creek is a mall (but it is owned by the Mormon church), but Deseret Book is not unique. There's a bunch of them in the state.

I'm so sad that I will be working until 5 pm and will be unable to attend Becky's first ever "Becky's Favorite Things Boutique Sale" in Peoria, AZ!! "...We don’t have a store front, so this is extra exciting that we will selling our Stone Wrap + Simple Notebooks + a few gift-able Project Life® items too! It’s all happening at our global headquarters (i.e. our office). Oh, and rumor has it Wendy will even be selling her famous “Love Fudge.” For real, it’s to-die-for and she does NOT share that recipe that she learned from her grandma. Most of us on the team will be there and we’re excited to meet you!" --I'm so sad that I'll miss out on the opportunity to see/buy Stone Wrap (even though I'm pretty sure I've seen it in my local Tuesday Morning stores, lol) and that I'll miss out on the chance to buy Wendy's famous fudge... "There are virtually no boutiques in our area (that we’re aware of)... --and hello- Phoenix is the something like the 5th largest metro area in the country; there is shopping ALL OVER THE PLACE HERE! Why doesn't she just say "we want an opportunity to hawk our stuff" rather than trying to make it sound like Peoria is such a backwater / small town place with no stores?!? seriously, come on- Oprah doesn't even do that!

Hahaha crimsoncat05 . I used the link in your post from Santiago, Chile. Do you think they will think I am booking a flight to attend? To be fair, I am headed to NYC the day before this fantastic opportunity and I do love fudge. I am sure there are no boutiques in NYC and I better not miss out...

Really 🤔 I actually have those nail clippers. They were recommended by another blogger. They are the best clippers I have ever owned and I highly recommend them if you are in the market for good clippers.

I am not surprised they are good clippers...but there’s just something that makes me a bit squeamish about them being promoted on her blog..... my problem I guess.....

Woof.
I hate those sleeves. I hate the length. I don’t mind me a shapeless dress, but it better be short.

How am I just now seeing that? Oh, ew. And how is a small, e.g., a 0-6? That is your first tip that it is going to fit like a sack--I'm used to the size range for each s-m-l-xl etc. as about two dress sizes, not four.

Haters are going to hate, but Becky is obviously doing something right. From the looks of social media she appears to have a lot going on. Like everything else....I buy the product I like and I follow the advice that makes sense. I'm just not that emotionally invested in what she does or doesn't do.
PS - I would never buy that dress!

PS - I would never buy that dress! You're intentionally trying to cause discord here by your responses and you're trying to tell us we're emotionally invested? We're not emotionally invested. We're sharing opinions about what products a supposed scrapbook businessperson is trying to sell. I'm sure a great deal of us are quite disappointed that she managed to sink what had so much potential and that is why we're sitting here talking about it. Her business could have been something great for a struggling industry, it's such a shame.

PS - I would never buy that dress! I would have agreed w/everything in this post except the "haters are going to hate" starter. Sometime in the not to distant future (I hope), more people will get that not everyone who is critical of a public figure's offerings is a "hater".
