And amazingly, FOX News is not covering this. Completely shocking! 🙄 Can you imagine if President Obama ever said anything like this? The guy was criricized for wearing a tan suit! But “shithole countries” doesn’t even get a mention. Business as usual!

President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to two people briefed on the meeting.

It makes me cry for the kids who I was a sub for today. Third grade. In that one class we happened to have quite a few from shithole countries -- several Central Americans, one from Tunisia (dark-skinned, not light skinned like trump would prefer -- Tunisia does have both), one from Ethiopia, and one from Mongolia, along with various shades of Americans. (and actually, some of the "shithole" country kids might be Americans, but their parents are all immigrants). Hard-working parents....often working three jobs between the two of them. Kids are sweet, mostly work hard (there are always kids in any group who would rather not...lol).  |

I am heartbroken for the people from those countries that came for their American dream and now, because of this horrible excuse of a human being will be subject to even worse racism than they would have been.

Sadly, this is exactly what his base wants to hear. The Trump supporters I know are extremely racist. They only want people who look and pray like us (white Scandinavians/Dutch/Germans in my neck of the woods) in this country. Nothing else matters.
Our forefathers would weep at the lack of tolerance this country has shown.
