I really think he's trolling or it's performance art. Has anyone posted his fiance's website yet? Chanel RionWOW. Go to her main landing page, too, to see her artwork. (I wanted to put “artwork” in quotation marks, but I didn’t.) I should not have taken my old incontinent bladder to see that "artwork". Bannon looking sweet and soft like a babys butt

(I wanted to put “artwork” in quotation marks, but I didn’t.) This has to be a publicity stunt. His rant and her "about" page are too much alike for it to be legit. Also, her cartoons/illustrations lack any sophistication or degree of cleverness. It's straight up party-line hatred displayed with mediocre drawings. Yawn.

Actually, her illustrations look like something out of MAD magazine!! Example Illustration #1"Socialized Medicine NOT Welcome in America Example Illustration #2Legacy: Traitor! This is her bio on his 'Sykes for Senate' website: "Chanel has become widely known as the best political illustrator in the country for constitutional conservative and anti-leftist causes and as President Trump’s most stalwart graphic warrior against leftism. modest, isn't she?? Chanel is also the developer, author, and illustrator of the first three volumes of her traditional girl’s mystery series. remind me NOT to read those!! Chanel’s mission is to promote the spirit of the traditional family, and the self-reliance, ingenuity, independence, and strength of American girls who believe in traditional homes, in conservative values, in having faith, and in having lives and futures that encourage families to succeed at home. They do sound like the perfect match, then- except it sounds like she works plenty outside the home... I'm surprised he doesn't wax rhapsodic here about her cooking skills!!Chanel is engaged to Courtland Sykes, Republican U.S. Senate candidate for Missouri. They met at what was a CIA recruiting event at Harvard.

I mean, that sounds like a yes. It would just comfort me to know that you're one in the same and there aren't actually more people who think this way. I think you should just assume that most conservatives here have multiple personas. It's entertaining. 🙄

This is the part which I started to believe these people may not be on the up and up - baguettes and goat cheese from a monastery every day.
That and the part where they forgot they claimed to be Harvard extension students but who both conveniently happened to be on campus for a CIA recruitment event masquerading as a magazine looking for Trump loving conservatives to feature.

Just read the hugely entertaining linked web page for Miss Rion and I'm sitting here puzzling over this conundrum: Is it stranger that she lived in a communist village in France or that she thinks it's notable that none of her first grade classmates there ever spoke about politics? ETA: Whoops, Sarah*H beat me to it. Great writing, too There is a 101-word sentence in that rambling manifesto. ~AmeliaBloomer Yeah, I counted

Peaple, I did not want to click on the link, so thank you for this extract. I am pretty sure I have read something at least 80% similar a couple of years ago. The goat cheese and baguettes from the monastery in France, the communist village (psst, don't tell Macron!) Either she is plagiarizing something from the net or both of them are trolling groups like the peas/liberal peas/liberals in general to try and make some kind of fake news "gotcha".

Just this past weekend sexist comments made by Ohio legislators Bill Seitz and Matt Hoffman ...including C U Next Tuesday... about female legislators. www.3rdrailpolitics.com/article/906 Clueless Republicans Still Cracking Sex-in-Workplace Jokes-- THEIR Workplace Huffman, Seitz Cross Lines By Connor Brown Surrounded by the usual suspects of lobbyists and campaign contributors, Ohio Republican leaders gathered at the exclusive, newly-renovated Athletic Club of Columbus just down the street from the State Capital building for a closed-door "roast" of outgoing Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger's chief of staff Mike Dittoe, as he departs state service to run a congressional campaign. While flattery and lame humor were the order of the evening, sources report the running theme of the jokes was... what else? Legislator sexual harassment and disrespect of women! With an open bar of whiskey, vodka, gin, beer and wine (thanks OHROC!), the jokes from the podium were at times offensive and especially distasteful toward women. Even with awareness at all-time highs, these out of touch white dudes think sexual harassment in their very own workplace is a punchline. Hey Speaker- may need to do another round of HR training! 3rd Rail was not invited, but was given a sampling. Senator Matt Huffman (R-Lima) played emcee and regaled the group about how a female candidate requesting support "was actually a real Cee U Next Tuesday." Get it?? Hahahaha. Good one Matt! Sexist much? Huffman also took a potshot at Rep. Marlene Anielski, joking that she was "very unpopular." One may have thought we were past the point of judging women based on "popularity." Sorry Marlene, guess Matt is not going to ask you to Homecoming this year! He's going with the cool kids. But the worst was yet to come. Representative William Seitz (R-Cincinnati) called out former Rep. Diana Fessler, calling her a nutjob who "wore a tin foil hat." More demeaning still, he compared her to his current Southwest Ohio colleague Rep. Candice Keller. Saving the best for last, he imagined certain legislators doing their work "set to music." Former Senator Cliff Hite, who as first reported by 3rd Rail was drummed out of office for disturbing allegations of harassing a female statehouse staffer, could have Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It on," Seitz joked. "Or better yet," he added, "The Answer is Blowing in the Wind." Not content to just smack one chamber, he added a similar off-color double entendre to describe the song for former Rep. Wes Goodman. [Not suitable for print]. 3rd Rail is told the crowd seemed a little stunned by the sheer tone deafness of it all-- but women in attendance such as Governor Kasich's Chief of Staff Beth Hansen, State Senator Stephanie Kunze, and Rep. Theresa Gavarone did not seem to react. Surprising no one, Speaker Rosenberger sat in the front row mucking it up, presumably perfectly happy to leave the cleaning up of the House's culture to the next guy. (Or God forbid, woman). Sadly, this towel-snapping fratboy routine serves as a reminder that no matter what they might say publicly, Republican political leadership remains far too comfortable with an immature and damaging culture of sexual double standards, objectification, and hostile work environments. Last night, they let the veil slip and it was not pretty. P.S. in the spirit of karma being a bitch...while at this event, Bill Seitz fell and broke his ankle!!! This reminds me of the tabloid report I read (British) about an event at the Dorchester recently where the old boys' network put on an event Harvey Weinstein would have loved to have attended. Only problem would have been that a lot of home cooked dinners would have been inedible after that nauseating fratboyfest was over! Brit peas- why on earth is TM still indulging 45? Why on earth did she not fire the (junior) minister who enjoyed the fratboyfest? SMH.

“Chanel's "Mystery by Design" series for girls Available January 1 stands apart from the gender-hostile, Hollywood "rip and hate" spirit of radical feminism that has brought so much coldness, pain, failure and disappointment to so many young women whose lives radical feminism has twisted and irreparably ruined with its toxic and confused mental stew of pointless competition, manophobia, hatred, gender-confusion and blame that radical feminism is and has always been about. She rejects it outright and wants as many girls as she can reach to reject it too. “

Lies repeatedly, proof on video? Eh, no big deal. I keep hearing things like "he's just a normal guy" and "he's just like us." When did people stop expecting more from our President? Stop holding him to a higher standard than the general public and people they follow on Twitter?

I don’t like his ideas, but if that’s what he and she want, I’m good with it. I feel sorry for his daughters, growing up with a father who is pigeonholing them into a lifestyle that they very well might not want.
As long as he confines his views to his own family and not legislation, it’s his business.

Wowsers. He sounds like he has some issues. A bit angry when he didn’t need to be.
I have zero problem with him wanting what he does for his family. Kinda funny that “Home” is with a fiancée, not a wife...
I do believe STRONGLY that you can be for women’s rights and still desire traditional roles in a marriage. So I take issue with the wording in the “article.”

But he makes a lot of general comments about women, which makes me wonder if he thinks that his beliefs should be a pattern for other families. Stick to your own family, mister.
