Thanks, my pea friends! I woke up at 5 am because I am so excited I can’t sleep. Can you imagine what a mess I will be the weeks leading up to this trip?
We are changing our travel dates and now we have two options for the party, so I am not as worried. I am just trying to decide if we want to go our last night or the middle of our trip. I kind of want to go our last night, but traditionally I want my last ride to be the HM in DL and the party is in the DCA. I don’t think I will be able to hop over to DL to do that with the restricted park hopping. What to do, what to do….

That was me leading up to booking FP & Dining reservations. Part of what makes a Disney trip is so fun is the pre-planning, planning, trip, and then scrapbooking it after. I can't wait to hear what you got!

Skellinton Oh no, I missed the cheer squad! Do you take belated shaking of les pom-poms? *shakes 'em like polaroid pictures* So very glad you got your party entries! We will need a full report. Also, YOU ARE FINALLY GOING BACK! It has been just about forever in the making. Bestest news and I'm mostest happy for you! Confetti all over you and your wonderful travel plans!

I got my tickets super easily, like eerily easily! I entered the queue on my phone and iPad and both said over an hour, which is what I knew to expect. Almost immediately my phone jumped to 13 minutes, and I mean, what a perfect number, right? I was able to get tickets for our final night and got my confirmation and everything. Looking on the disboards people are having a hell of a time. They can’t complete the transactions at the final stage. Or they have several cc charges without any confirmation page. Wait times are dumping up and down, it sounds like a nightmare.
I think I should buy a lottery ticket, I feel so lucky!
Thanks for all the support, I bet it is your well wishers that made it so easy for me!!!

That’s how I felt when I got tickets & reservations in May. I had such a breezey time with the process I thought I had surely missed something and messed it all up somehow. 🤣
Yay, you!!! Let the planning commence!
I’m returning in January with *just* my two youngest and I am giddy with the planning and dreaming!

Disneyland Paris is subject to Covid-19 health pass entry in France starting next week and they just announced they have a test booth (for the unvaxxed or vaxxed with vaccines not approved by the European Union) ready to be used in Disney Village by the park entrance. They are not going to miss a beat after having been closed for so many months and good for them! Also, my mother called me today to ask if I was going back to Disneyland this summer. I had to laugh because she raised me Disney-free (besides Fantasia because *classical music*) and never cared about my DLP trips besides me bringing her back the occasional Peter Pan or Tinkerbell mug. I thought it was so cute she was thinking about the little things that used to make me happy and seeing a silver lining in this pandemic. If the health pass requirement stays for bullet train trips and park entrance, we are looking at going back at the start of Halloween season this year, yay! Fingers crossed now...

I am now starting to think our trip will end up being cancelled, the rises in LA are super concerning and I fear DL may end up shutting down again. I don’t mind going masked at all, I just think they might end up closing if CA can’t get their act together. I would love for both of us to be in DL in October though, even if it is miles and miles and miles and miles apart!

But I agree, it's touch and go right now. The predictions for the rise of case numbers in Western Europe over the next few weeks is terrifying. EU officials are asking the UK to reconsider lifting all pandemic measures next week but I don't see that happening. Johnson is hellbent on moving ahead and showing the world the UK is "free" again, from the pandemic and the EU. *deep sigh* My DL park might no longer be open by then either. We're stuck in pandemic purgatory, Skellinton, and it's getting boring... At this stage, I'm in favour of mandatory vaccination for all. The human world, it's a mess...

This will be for airport pictures. The Salt Lake Airport has a big new addition. Supposed to be cool?? Not sure on the FL airports. They might enter and leave from two different ones. It's the Carta Bella passport line. I found a let's go fly a kite sticker! I told my daughter she better find Mary Poppins.

This is Echo Park Summer Dreams line. The geometric side has a Disney feel to me. It's not as bright IRL. I have 2 of these.

Dude.
I've been planning our return to DW for Jan/Feb 2023.
DH asked why we aren't planning for Nov 2022 so I can see all the Christmas decor. It might be happening and I'm ECSTATIC!!! Really, it's about 80-90 days difference, but in planning terms that's huge!

Really, it's about 80-90 days difference, but in planning terms that's huge! Planning a Christmas or Holiday trip is a whole different world! We are going in December 2022 because I want to see all the Christmas stuff, and hopefully a Candlelight Processional. I hope you get to go then, do you know where you are going to stay? I am having the hardest time deciding this time. My mom is helping finance my hotel since it will be my 50th birthday present, so I will get to stay at one of the moderate or deluxe instead of a budget, but I can’t figure out where I want to stay. Such a delightful problem to have!

Such a delightful problem to have! I was looking into December, but there was NOTHING available for hotels. We're a family of 5, so that limits us, too. It's looking like we'll go back to CBR, which we really enjoyed. The Skyliner was right outside our door which was fantastic (except when it was so windy it closed down). Just waiting to hear about some final confirmations and then it looks like I could be booking... AH!! I'm so happy to hear you're planning a big holiday trip, too! Christmas is my very fav. Disney AND Christmas? Oh my garland.

They have several special holiday cookies in Epcot and each one you get you earn a stamp and when you collect them all you get a bonus cookie!

I was on their website and since it went out to December 2022, I assumed the reservations were all gone. Thanks! Cookie hopping?! That's fantastic! We did the Find Figment during the Art Festival in 2020, but your prize at the end was a puzzle. I'm not knocking puzzles, because my girls totally put it together and we glued it at home and it's in the album, but cookies?! That'll be a lot of fun! I should know today if November is going to work or not.

We did Christmas in Disney 2 years ago and it was so much fun. Snowing on main street !
I just came back from Disney World the first week of July. Things were very organized and mostly "normal" except the food ordering all has to be done via mobile phone or reservations. You can no longer just walk in and add your name to the list. I was bummed about the gift shops, I didn't find much to bring home which is very unusual but I think they are still getting things in from being closed.
Hoping to go back in November when I turn 40. This last trip was my 28th time there and I love it!

This last trip was my 28th time there and I love it! I couldn’t find anything in any shops when we went to DL/CA in January, either. And goodness I really tried! 😆 I did end up buying a hat, but that’s only because mine flew off my head on a ride and I couldn’t get it back until the park closed, but needed the sun protection for the day. I gave it to my son as soon as I reclaimed my own. It felt like there was so little variety in the shops. Everything was so repetitive.

I don’t know what they are planning for this year. I would have already had to book it if I were going, and I wasn’t confident enough that things would be normal in time to travel. I typically stay in the Pop which is similar to All Star Music, I believe. Very cute, very Disney themed! The Cookie Crawl looks amazing! You must make sure you get ice cream in France, I had the most delicious float made with ice cream and whipped cream vodka there!

My daughter isn't quite twenty one. I'll tell my husband though. I don't know if there is a lot of murals at Disney World, but I saw this new set from Social Paper Plan. I can definitely use it for other photos.
