Here is my first layout for the month. I used photos that my daughter sent me yesterday - she is in Hawaii at the moment. I used a template that I just bought, because it fit perfectly with a couple of the challenges I had already set. The template is from the 'Whimsical Spring' kit by Jumpstart Designs, and the papers and elements are from the 'Bula! Aquatic' kit by Studio Digilicious. You're off to a flying start AussieMeg ! I guess you did get several hours jump start on most of us. Love the pretty colors and flowers on your Hanauma Bay page. The red white and blue confused me for a second because even though I know your flag is also red white and blue (along with half of the world) I associate you guys so strongly with green and gold. I like the way the embellishments and photos lead the eye around the page. craftymom101 I've already mentioned how much I love the colors of this page on IG. I meant to ask, is that the same Voodoo Doughnut company as the one in Portland OR? The throne looks crazy enough that I'm guessing it is  The star garland is fabulous. Almost makes me want to scrap on paper so I can make one too! This morning I got done with my business stuff (Q2 taxes, new listings, manufactures, yay) and other beginning of the month/week stuff so hopefully tomorrow I can get back to crafting. I think I should probably tidy up a bit first. I got a massive pile of new paper to play with and a request for tween birthday cards from my SIL but I have a lot of half finished projects lying around. |

joblackford yes, it’s the same company! They opened a Voodoo Doughnut at Universal City walk sometime last year and it is soooo good! We were in Orlando in January and the line to order doughnuts was 45-60 minutes(!!) so we skipped it. This time the line was 5 minutes so I treated us to doughnuts.

craftymom101, I love your layout and especially that star garland. If you figure out how to share it, I'd love to have it. I know how long it takes to make a cut file! Love the bright colors and have never heard of VooDoo Doughnut. Now I need to see if there is one around here. Cute page. AussieMeg, your layouts are always so beautiful! I love to study them. After achieving naught last month, I'm tackling the scrap beast straight away for July. Just finished this digi page with two puppies sleeping on me (the laptop mouse clicks gave me some super cute wiggling ear moments ❤️) in the middle of the night. craftymom101 Wow, what a gorgeous LO (yet again)! I love your use of white - soft bright colour contrast. That star garland is gorgeous (and makes me want an electronic die cutter even more). Beautiful job on the mix of of alphas for the title! This is one of those "perfectly balanced" pages. 👍 AussieMeg 'Ocean View' Love the recreation of the waves with the papers and addition of that muted purple to the colour scheme. The circles are such a fun design element for this page: they remind me of shells on the beach. Perfect finishing touch with those splashes of blue! 😊 'Australia Day' You really made this page pop by playing with the rectangular, square and round shapes! I absolutely love the delicate red doily at the top. The flower pattern paper was such a smart choice with the patches of grass in the photos. nylene What a stinking cute LO (and photo)! I love all the pizza toppings scattered all over the page. The white background is reminiscent of pizza boxes so that was a great decision. The pizza place sign is just perfect. And now, I'm craving pizza... 🍕❤️🍕

AussieMeg Your ocean view LO of your daughter is great...that color combo is one of my favs that I rarely get to use. Your daughter is gorgeous! Your Australia Day LO....RWB, hard to not like that! That doily really got my attention! nylene My baby's first job was also PPC...you must be nearby. (Maybe I've talked to you about that already, I know there is at least one other pea near me.) Love that pizza! mmm pizza sleepingbooty PUPPIES!!! I love the LO, how soft the mood/feel is....perfect for puppies. I just can't get past the cute!

Got some time to play last night while the boys played Talisman.
This is about my son feeding the dog a meatball. Of course he didn't think to put it in a bowl and he has issues letting them eat from his hand. I saw it start to happen, yelled out, but too late.

I have a couple of two page LO's with photos and plans and paper selections on my counter, but it seems like my crafty brain is made from "treacle" this past few days. Did some simple die cutting this morning for them. Hoping to get things glued down and completed before I forget what I was doing...

LisaDV, I left love in the gallery. What a funny story! sleepingbooty, that is the cutest little puppy. I love the woodgrain and your layering behind the photos. Clean and so very classy. That tucked in tag is a great touch. 2marbles, your music page is beautiful. I love the embossed photo corners. Great touch. What a beautiful girl and a lovely page to commemorate her music. I made an A5 TN cover last year to hold a folded sheet of 11x8.5" paper. I was going to use it for Bible journaling, but I like my big used books for that. My daughter has been riding since she was 7 and was asked to help out at the ranch where she rides. This horse got very ill and has made a come back! Since she is eating well again and putting weight back on, she needs to be groomed and exercised to get her strength back up. My daughter has a special bond with this horse as she rode her mom and her as well. And they both have medical needs. She is very gentle and loving and this horse is very picky about who she trusts. These two girls love each other a lot! Today my dd got to lunge line this horse and it was good to see her back to her spunky self  |
