April has some sneaks om her insta story but Im too lazy to bother posting them over here. Looks like a chipboard alphabet and more heart puffy-is stickers in pink + red+ light blue + bright green.
Edit: I thought it was a DD kit but its coming out next week so just ignore me.

Webster's Pages is preordering some new photo albums (and planners) I'm thinking I might do this for December Daily this year. 6x12 all 25 pages all the same design. It def costs more than an Ali album. These are $35. It has a 2inch spine. Better than the 3x8 albums Is this a crazy idea? My other idea was either 3x8 album or something with tags. I've been really into the idea of tags, but the idea is as far as I've gotten with that.   |

I'm really bummed that FJ is released so late. Shipped in November means I won't get it until December.
I know that I will love the kit though so I'm sure I'll be grabbing some (if not all) of it. I just wish I were getting it sooner.
The biggest sticking point for me right now though is album choice. After four years of AE albums and majority AE products in my DD albums, I'm ready to make a change and try some different designs and a different aesthetic. But I'm not all that sure about the FJ album and whether or not I'll like it when it's released. So I would need to decide whether or not to order an AE album just in case, in which case I'd need to order more than just the album to make the shipping worthwhile. Sigh. First world international scrapbooker problems...

I went to the Scrapbook expo yesterday in Schaumburg, Il. I got myself those adorable Elizabeth Crafts dies. Can't wait to make my own book.

Just so everyone knows... The quality of the dies seem decent. They cut great. Really glad the dies are good quality! The tree page looks super cute. An entire album of those pages mounted on some loose rings would also look wonderful and very Paige Evans-y. Definitely DD-appropriate. I'm really bummed that FJ is released so late. Shipped in November means I won't get it until December. It's annoying. Felicity Jane and Crate Paper are both way too late to the December documenting scene this year. Disappointing since they are both huge hits with the December scrapbookers. I'm still focusing on the Simple Stories Country Christmas album. I want it for my December-in-volumes project. But it's one of the few things from the Country Christmas line that hasn't been shipped to retailers yet, sigh. I think I'm going back to my hyper minimalist roots this year. White cardstock, a set of ephemera, maybe coordinating chipboard shapes, some stitching, my favourite classy fonts, loads of journaling, mostly 6x8 photos, clean look. |

Elle’s Studio just posted a sneak on Instagram and announced that their kit will go on sale August 28th. Looks very traditional - I like what I see so far!

Like the white numbered puffy stars and the green transparent heart shape. It will be worth checking out for those items but not interested in the entire kit. Wow, they are getting a jump start on all the reveals! |

So far the only new designs I’m seeing from Ali this year are the watercolor/painterly designs (like the holly-ish design). Every single one of the other designs/images have been used previous, multiple years, including some digital kits from when she was at Designer Digitals (that star pattern on the transparency), as papers, die cuts, stamps, cards, or other products. Most of it should match well with previous years’ kits since it’s the same stuff. I am curious to see how the watercolor is integrated in the product offerings. |
