Challenge 5 I love the ornaments on the string. Its so simple, but so festive. I like the ribbon/thread keeps the page from being flat but doesn't make it bulky. http://instagr.am/p/BrCcsRaDZU- Challenge 6: I love this album. Like, really love the cover. The style really isn't me, but I love that you can hang the 'album' as a banner or keep it in the album. LINKThis would be cute using some of the tags from the Snowflake collection. Wheels spinning...I may have come up with my reason why page.

cristelina - I love your album! The vintage touches are perfect! And finding a GB Christmas kit? Not gonna lie. I am jealous. I didn't stock up on GB when they were clearancing things out and I now regret it. They were a great club.

One lady pulled out no less than 7 Christmas collections with paper and embellishments (most were from this year), and Ali kit and a CD kit. I get piecing a kit together you love but there was enough stuff for 5 years worth of DD albums. It almost made me sad. Maybe because I have really curbed my spending and only purchase things that I want to use? I felt sad for some of the paper pads she pulled out - they were literally just tossed to the side when she moved on to another pad. If she isn't making 5 stuffed albums this year, the vast majority of the stuff will be left after this Christmas season. Which is ok. To each their own. It doesn't change the fact that it's very likely way too much and that the buying cycle will start again come late summer next year, multiplying the pile of leftovers with each December. Hopefully, she'll figure it out at some point and isn't giving up on any other things she loves/would like to do in life to buy that amount of paper goodies. It is sad to witness, I agree, be it scrap stuff, makeup, home décor, clothes or whichever other kind of haul. I love these. What would you do with these? I considered downloading but wasn't sure what I would use them for. I was thinking of printing some on vellum for a semi-opaque insert. If you have a Minc and access to a toner printer, these would look stunning with a foil finish as well. Santa Claus myth? What is this myth you talk about? Santa Claus is very much real, thankyouverymuch.

I can't find any (just lots of weird things not entirely related to books or plates!) Try search terms like: book label, archive label, label holder, label card holder, metal label pull (a lot of people use these on small drawers of organisational furniture), label handle, label frame, etc. Add in "metal" if necessary.

Did you get inspired by Heidi's spiral album cover video that was posted by scrapbook.com? Yes I did. This is the second book I have made with the shaker box in the front. We'll see how it looks once it's finished.

I’m done!! I’m missing 3 3*8 photos for Christmas Day but otherwise I am all done with 2018! My album is thick but not too thick. I stopped at 12/25. I have my Vegas trip in PL and it doesn’t need documenting twice (though it was a great trip). congrats! That must feel great to accomplish.

Yall. I am watching 2019 DD prep videos as I keep working on last years album....I cannot believe some of the piles of stuff people have pulled out. Don't get me wrong. I pulled a bunch too. But literally stacks and stacks and stacks of stuff. I would be so overwhelmed (hell, I want to hyperventilate just seeing it all and its not mine!). They literally have pulled out more product than I own. I know, I know...as long as they are using the stuff then good for them. And that is what makes them happy, then yay. But I seriously have to click out of the video because of all the stuff. Now that that is out of my system....I am on day 20 of last year. YAY. I have come to realize that I am literally just telling the story + adding photos. Very little embellishment at all (which is fine). I hope I don't regret not spending more time on getting this album done. Surely I won't, right? Just get it done and move on. My goal is to be done, completely, by Wednesday. Totally doable. Then I will go through my stuff and get it organzied again and get ready for December 1. You'll never regret getting the core story & photos down in the book. You can add embellishments later if you desire. Embellishments are like sprinkles on a cupcake. Cupcake is great with just the caken& frosting. But also enjoyable if you want a few sprinkles on top.

Sahlin Studio's offering this new set of 31 cards to document December on the Lilypad at 30% off until tonight. Perfect for those with a photo-heavy style and the horizontal 4x6 album folks like mom this year. I'm really hoping another sale happens as I love so much about this kit--not everything, but enough! I think I will grab the Paislee Press kit while it's 44% off as that ends today. So much to use there. Digital is beginning to become very appealing and sending it to be printed. However, the kits are just as expensive as buying a physical kit, albeit there are a lot of elements.

I would like some inspiration.
I've gotten over my dislike of youtube videos once I figured out how to watch them fast.
Can you please share some links of your favorite DD walkthroughs?
I really liked Sheree Forcier. I love Marie Lottermoser. Anything with a lot of Crate Paper or old October Afternoon would be great.
Simple, clean, with a touch of vintage.
Thanks!!!

I've been thinking about the 4x6 templates sleepingbooty shared from Sahlin Studio. I think I might own some from AE that are similar....I think they were from her Designer Digital days. Anyone recall these? I am going to see if I can find them in my files. edited: here they are. They were in her store. And here is another set. Apparently I already owned this combo pack that has 4x6 in them, so I am just going to use those.

Simple, clean, with a touch of vintage. Thanks!!! Caylee Grey. I know I'm a broken record but I love her most recent DD albums. 2018 is on her IG but 2017 has a walk-through video:
