I have had the tv off all day and my daughter just told me that there are multiple fatalities in a Walmart in El Paso. WHY?... If you are so unhappy, off yourself but why must you take innocent people with you? I sure don’t know the answer to end 5is but we sure do need something to change😞

3 in custody 1 in custody (unknown if all suspects, open carry), multiple fatalities, 11 taken to hospitals by ambulance, 22 total injured.......... Too many guns on civilians.......

My oldest son's fraternity brother works at that Walmart for the summer. He is unaccounted for at the moment. I cannot imagine how scared his parents must feel. We are really hoping he just lost his phone and cannot contact his parents. Edited: Issacs mom just posted on FB that they found him, and he is shaken up, but ok otherwise. Merge busy |

I've been watching on CNN. I feel so heartsick for all those shoppers. Just going shopping in a mall on a summer Saturday. Gunman opens up, destroys multiple lives. Ends multiple lives.
I'm angry and I'm sad and defeated. The government won't ban guns. I'm sure they politicians will tweet their meaningless thoughts and prayers. But what the hell, man?! Is there anywhere we can be safe? Where our kids can be safe?!
Don't go to shopping malls. Or concerts. Or outdoor festivals. Or school, ffs.

DH’s company are moving us back to the US next week. I’m so bummed to come back to Trump and weekly shootings. I’d much rather stay in the UK where my family is relatively safe.
It doesn’t matter how many Americans are shot. The gun advocates just double down and the NRA throws more money at the government so things just stay the same.

Gun control aside (because I'm never gonna fix that), I'd like to see play brought back into kindergarten and recess to the rest of elementary school. I want to see creative projects instead of only rigorous curriculum delivered with fidelity. Allow students to grow emotionally and socially as well as academically. |

You are probably right but I still don't fully understand being so angry that killing/hurting others seems a solution or rational reaction. How did people react to anger in the 1900's, the 1950's, etc.... It seems that with the internet, the phones, all the social media that some, too many, can't control themselves. |
