grammadee - love the waves on your set sail page angel97701 - wow great job scrapping those Vegas pictures so quickly! And they look awesome! Love how you used themed paper without it being overwhelming. And the interactive flap is brillant.

Gotta share laptop woes: My laptop died several months ago. So I'm using DH's laptop. His batter is toast, has to be plugged in 100% of the time. The connection is loose. If it gets jiggled - by a hand or a cat - the computer just "poof" shuts off. This has happened to me THREE times while commenting in the past 2 days! Argh!!! Oh, that must be SO frustrating!! Technology is the best until it doesn't work quite right and then it's the WORST.

kitbop - thank you so much! No worries about tagging me wrong - I just feel badly for the other Linda who gets tags that aren't for her

Linda, I think your swan stickers are really cute and well positioned. Beautiful photos on those pages. I love your design. ~ I love your Lake Eola photos. The pink and teal together are so pretty and they match your photos beautifully. Love the banners and the flamingo sticker. ~ Those are such adorable photos of the little ducks. The babies are so precious with their downy feathers. So sweet. ~ I love the simplicity of your flower photo and page. Very classy, letting the flower take center stage. This makes me want to do pages without clutter. Just gorgeous! KikiPea, what a pretty page. I love the photos with the canyon in the background. You do the most wonderful clusters. They make me want to study them and learn your techniques. Beautiful, classy page. Nice to see you scrapping and posting.

Thank you nylene - you always post such thoughtful and sweet comments! These stickers date back to 2005...not 100% happy with my cluster but it'll do.

KikiPea those clusters are GORGEOUS!!! Love the woodgrain background for these photos, too. Looks like a wonderful getaway. Welcome back! I see you have been busy again, Linda. Your two different palettes for the Eola Lake photos are both pretty. The bird stickers are perfect. Love the torn edges on the blue LO and the banners on the pink & teal one. The ducky photos are really sweet. Love the floral background pp and the page that features the large buttercup flower. Great use of greens and yellows on those pages. I think the sticker Thomas the Train cluster is perfect! Love the little scene you created. And using the blocked design for the visit to Legoland is a cute touch.

This is another page for the Wacky Holiday challenge - World Egg Day October 11th. And now I have done one LO for each week of Wacky Holidays, so I get the bonus 25 points. I am working on a recipe photobook of all my favourite receipes. After I uploaded this, I realised that the last page I did for the recipe book was 12x12, so I'm going to have to change this one to 12x12 or change the other to 8.5x11. I'm not sure what size I prefer. Has anyone here done a recipe book? And if so, what size? Points: #6 fall colours, #7 photos, #13 kit, #14 button (2), #22 wood, #24 tie me up (2), #25 digital, #42 stitching, #46 leaf, #65 rectangles, #70 unfinished album, #75 layers, #78 Wacky holidays (5 + bonus 25), #81 favourites TOTAL = 45 points

Linda your Lake Eola album is fabulous, the photos and pages are all so pretty. I've mentioned before that I think you always use the most perfect colours on your pages. I love the torn paper on the swan page, and how the colours of the cardstock match the water and reflections in the photos. The combination of pink and green on the flamingo page is just gorgeous and the banners look great. The duck and hibiscus pages are also very pretty - yellow/orange/green is one of my favourite colour combinations. KikiPea great start to the month! The clusters are amazing, and that quote is perfect. I look forward to seeing more of your vacation pages.

AussieMeg - thank you - you're so sweet! I love your recipe page with the ribbon and the little sprigs of parsley? and the stitching. Will it be a decorative recipe book or one you'll use? For use, I think the smaller size is more practical.

Will it be a decorative recipe book or one you'll use? For use, I think the smaller size is more practical. It will be a recipe book that I can use. I think you're right, that the smaller size will be more practical. Many years ago, when I used to paper scrapbook, I was in a recipe card swap. We used A5 size (is that the one that's half the size of A4?). It was fun to work with but just a bit too small for some longer recipes.

Well the kids have been keeping me quite busy! I need to catch up on commenting when I have some down time. I did get a few LO done over the past week. I started out so strong and slowed down with the onset of sports, practices, kids getting sick, etc. I am still determined to get done our vacation book by the end of the month, but that's not looking likely at this point! Untitled by Boy Mom, on Flickr On this one the N in Walking got flipped over and I am not wanting to deal with taking another picture. It's been one of those days which is why I allowed myself to get some crafting in. Untitled by Boy Mom, on Flickr Untitled by Boy Mom, on Flickr Untitled by Boy Mom, on Flickr
