Catching up on a few quick comments. These are for pages 7 and 8. Sorry for missing so many this month. KikiPea I really love both of the pages you've posted. Those clusters! Especially the fall leaves with the snowflakes - along with the title, very clever. I'm a sucker for woodgrain so the first one you posted caught my eye right away. Just lovely. Almost makes me want to play with paper scrapping Any amount of snow in the fall is worth celebrating or at least documenting! teacherlisa it looks like you've done a lot with the AE prompts and you've been keeping up with your OLW too. So sorry for your loss. I love the idea of keeping an album to remember loved ones by though. boymom5 it sounds and looks like you've been busy! Good luck on making progress with your vacation book, even if finishing it doesn't work out. AussieMeg your recipe page looks great, the stitched detail is really neat, but I got distracted by the food itself. That looks SO delicious! Your album will be amazing whichever size you choose, but I think I'd go with letter size. kitbop your pokey Perspective page is great. I love the colors and the triangles and the multimedia look going on in the background. Your little journaling area makes me happy for some reason - maybe your neat writing Linda you've been busy! I like the swans. I especially like that you have both black and white swans (I lived near a lake with lots of black swans when I was a kid). I love all the colors you use on your pages. You must have a great stash of colored cardstock.

Think I caught everyone (either before or just now on Flickr) on Page 7 except for teacherlisa and KikiPea . teacherlisa , I love the different projects you are working on. The Just Write booklet is a wonderful way to describe the everyday experiences and your take on them. Your thoughtful journaling is a great record of where you are right now, and you have included photos that are perfect (and sometimes unexpected--I am talking to YOU mason jar in the Cup prompt page!) for the prompts. The Til We Meet Again album is a phenomenal way to pay tribute to those who have gone before us. This page must have been really difficult to do. I hope it also gave you some peace. Your October TN is coming together nicely. Love the labels around your photo, the card replacing the 3, the quote. Thanks so much for sharing these. KikiPea , that last LO on page 7 is GORGEOUS! I love those huge flower clusters! They look so dimensional; almost real. And I love how you have everything grouped together in the bottom corner leaving so much of that pretty background pp in view. On to this page. Linda, your pages about exploring UCF are well laid out and you chose the perfect colour for a background. The white and grey mats really work with those photos of the different views of campus. Glad your Florida found some use for the fall leaf pp on the Autumn Harvest page. The woodgrain pp and the little shaped labels add even more pop to this LO. BTW what will the weather be like in the UK in early November? Will you get to see coloured leaves? Or will they be all gone by then?

I' hoping for a little though - I miss the changing seasons although I'm very happy my A/C is no longer running around the clock - just in the afternoons when it gets into the 80s still.

I think this catches me up! Sorry if I missed someone's fabulous creative crafting. Everyone is so busy creating wonderful things! linda Wow! You are on fire! Although our styles are different, I really love your pages and how you incorporate so many memories in your pages. Well done! The Halloween cards are fun! I’m not a cardmaker, but using the cut aparts is a great idea of making a quick and easy card that looks so nicely put together! gramma Great cards! The Happy Birthday are so simple, but much more welcoming than just another store bought card. I love that you are making some for soldiers and even more fun that you used scraps! That is so fun that your granddaughter went along with you on a retreat! You used so many fun papers on your Los. I think the Famil is my favorite with the letter backings in different patterns. I always love the outcome of those! grammadee I love how you scrap your grandchildren! The process showed in your granddaughters cake making is so fun! I love showing the step by step process she took. Sometimes I forget about adding those details. nylene I love all your cards. I do think that so far my favorite (pg. 4) is the Have a Great Day. The little characters are just so sweet! They make me smile! Perfect card to brighten someone’s day. christinec68 I love the color and paper choices for your Cupcakes page. The font is so sweet too and goes so well! The little hearts in the e’s! I love the pages on pg. 5. They are so clean looking, but fun! kitbop I love the paper choices in your Sock & Co page. I probably wouldn’t have thought put those papers together while flipping through a stash, but they look so nice together! Your Invasions page is so fun! I like the paper choices. It just all pulls together so nicely. Your Perspectives page is so cute! I want it! What paper line is that from? It would be perfect for our hikes! joblackford I’m really enjoying seeing all your card creations! I’m not sure which is my favorite so far. You have such a great variety and they are so creative and well put together. You make it look easy! Dictionary Fun shirts and the cards are great! My favorite is the snowflake one. I REALLY love the Believe card! It’s so simple, but pretty! AussieMeg Your pages are always so fun and I love that you manage to get so many pictures on there without making them seem overwhelming. I Struggle with that on my own pages! angel97701 Left comments on flickr 😊 Fun pages! KikiPea Love the clusters at the corners of your page. It complements the pictures well. Both pages are great! teacherlisa Do you like the format of those pages? I’m such a traditionalist with my 12 x 12 pages, but I’m itching to try some new things. I don’t know about the Just Write project, but it looks like a fun way to document!

boymom5 To answer your quetion, the flap will reside outside of the page. In the past I've had adhesive style flap protectors, but this one is to large. I might try my hand and making one though when it makes it to the album. I am loving all the inspiration here this month. I must apologize that I don't have the time to comment. With my house being torn apart since 10/15 for interior painting, working several different sub jobs, and dealing with Century link I am just too tired. Plus my master and craft room are next, so I need to pack!

Your Perspectives page is so cute! I want it! What paper line is that from? It would be perfect for our hikes! Thank you! The background plaid and many of the embellies are from the newer Bella Blvd "Lets go on an Adventure". I have to say I really like it for outdoors/camping!

boymom5 I do like switching up sizes from time to time. I am a die hard 8.5x11 scrapbooker but have started doing some Travelers notebooks, 6x8 and 6x12 sized pages. The Just Write thing is an Ali Edwards subscription. It is not for everyone, but I am enjoying it!

I finished up another couple of cards I fixed the card I used as a sample in my CARDtober punny challenge (day 23?) I had a scrap of vellum on my desk and dug through my little stash of 12x12 Doodlebug paper to find something green for the background, and used a couple of scraps from the original paper I had tried in the background (a blue watercolor wash pattern, Ella and Viv) and this is what I ended up sticking down. A couple of pink hearts from Doodlebug Christmas Town to finish it off. The encourage-mint die cuts are from So Much Pun. Updated Encourage-mint card by jo.blackford, on Flickr One of the 12x12 Doodlebug papers I chopped up for backgrounds had this Santa on the back, prettily perfectly framed (even though he was from a full 12" design) so I made him into a card. I used this same collection a couple of years ago - the Santas on weird vehicles made me smile. I added some Christmas Town snowflake stickers around the die cut sentiment (also Christmas Town) and called it good. Seasons greetings Santa card by jo.blackford, on Flickr I hadn't used any of the snowflake die cuts in Christmas Town so I put them all on one card with the Let It Snow! die cut. I decided to keep it simple with a swiss dot background. Decided to try adding a little white gel pen accent on the letters and I really liked how it turned out, so I'm going to do that more often. Let it snow card by jo.blackford, on Flickr I made some Jack Skellington/Nightmare Before Christmas cards too, but I haven't taken photos yet. I may have already shared the set I made last month - better check. I found out a fun new design/sketch for making cards so I need to tidy up what I've been working on and get started on something new. I am all over the place right now!

This layout is for a challenge on The Digital Press site. We were given 5 words as photo prompts for September - the words are the ones in pink in the journaling. The Sketchtember 23 sketch was perfect for this layout. I used the 'Effervescent' kit by Kim B Designs.

This is for a challenge on The Digital Press site, where you had to use the same photo twice on a layout. I'm pretty sure I've already scrapped this photo but oh well, it worked well for this challenge. I used the ‘Destination Escape Mask 3’ by Kim B Designs, ‘Smiles and Joy’ kit by Joyce Paul, hearts from the ‘Oh, Happy Day’ kit by Sugarplum Paperie. Points: 21

Love seeing your pages, teacherlisa. Love your "everyday" photos of food and favourite restaurants. And your insightful journaling about what the good things in your life are. Sorry your mojo deserted you, dasmith2, but you finished a couple of wonderful pages. Love the woodgrain with the flowers, especially the stamped ones. The layering, the tearing, the splatters & sequins, all add up to gorgeous scrapbook pages! Hoping to catch the rest on Flickr...
