I got off so easy! Any number of photos, glitter, chipboard and cardstock plus patterned paper - it's any layout I ever create! stinkerbelle, can we go back for leftovers? After finishing the first dinner challenge, could we randomly select future dinners (I promise not to cheat) and create more layouts for additional points?? I like recipe challenges sure, why not?

i'm excited about our new november challenges and can't wait to get cracking on them! unfortunately my space is a complete disaster and i'll need to do something about it first, even if it's just shove everything in a box and deal with it later. but first i have to get through my work day

CoffeeCrafter you're correct, you can stack as many points as you can pile on there. kiwigirl and i both made LOs worth more than 40 points in october. so you get one point for making something, anything and everything counts, give yourself a point. then you get another if you share it; you don't have to share here, you can put it in our flickr gallery or post to another online gallery or on fb or wherever. if it's posted anywhere, give yourself another point. for the challenges, they're each a point each unless they say otherwise and the fun for me is seeing how many i can use in one project. so for this month, for instance, let's say you make a card and it's rectangular, then you add on a stamped piece that's a square, then you add in washi, vellum, some lace...that would be 5 challenges so 5 points, plus one for making, plus one for sharing (if you do). i hope that makes sense! you're right on track and don't forget you don't have to do any challenges. if you need to make a card for an occasion, you can still give yourself a point for it, whether it meets any challenges or not.

i never care who wins (although yes, it's nice) i just hope we all have a nice time. looks like we have some good challenges this month, so that's a start!
i'm off to work soon and i'm not off until 7:00 tonight, so i probably won't even venture into my scrappy space. i work at 7 a.m. tomorrow so i have to get to bed at a relatively decent hour. i have a new raskog-type cart i'm dying to fill up, but the space i'm going to put it in is currently occupied by a big box of old stash for a friend and i have nowhere else to put it...so my cart might stay empty for a bit until i figure that out. my space is a disaster from the last minute flurry of activity. i have crap laying everywhere.
are you a neat or messy scrapper? some things i put away after each use, like my tweezers or any sort of mixed media stuff and my glue. everything else i just plop to the side and eventually i end up with a tower of stuff that's threatening to avalanche everywhere. somewhere in my mess i've lost my t-square ruler and that thing is pretty good sized, so yeah, i've got quite the clean up ahead of me.

i need to do a big clean before i even start on any challenges for november. my space is a disaster! and like kiwigirl, i just bought another raskog knock-off that i need to fill up. i'm hoping to make some shelf space because at the rate i'm scrapping, i'm filling albums like crazy and have nowhere to put them!

Well crap. I own no lace or doilies.i don't like them. And I think I may be genetically incapable of a layout without pattern paper. do you have any intricate dies or something you can cut with an electronic cutter? what about some sort of fabric? instead of patterned paper, try a washi background (and there's a challenge for that!) or maybe mixed media (challenge for that too)? you can do it! just use your imagination and substitute what you need to.

Hmmm, I'm going to have to put some thought into this one. I'm not sure of a good way to translate this to a card. I'm not sure how I can fit three photos, four lines of journaling, and chipboard on a card. For once, using cardstock and patterned paper is the least of my worries! LOL mmm yes, i could see where that might be a bit of a challenge lol...just do as JaneB suggested, switch out the photos for stamped images or 3 buttons or whatever and you could do a 4-line greeting or 4 lines of dots or...use your imagination. promise we won't kick you off the team!

JaneB if you make it during november, count it for november. and yes, nuvos (or any other challenge item) will count as a point, providing there is a challenge for them (i haven't gotten that far yet this morning) Chinagirl828 for shame! wishing heartache and loss on poor kiwigirl!
