welcome to november!! i can't believe the year is nearly over, it has gone way way too fast. this month i made my boyfriend draw names out of a hat, so your november teams are: team A:stinkerbelle-team leader DawnMcDLindaKelleeMCoffeeCraftercristelinajustjacJaneBgrammadeegmcwife1boymom5Chinagirl828nylenemeganlianeteam B:kiwigirl-team leader kitbopchrissy321patinjoyfulnanamslizjustlisa7AussieMegcraftykittencycworkermyboysnmegrammabreethefleachristinec68Rules:This is a low-pressure challenge designed to get you using your stash and have fun in the process! Each player will keep track of their own points! Whether you keep it on a piece of paper or make a post and edit each time is up to you. Team leaders will tally up the points at the end of the month so we can declare a winner. Participation in challenges is not required. Any member who wants to issue a challenge (need not be repeated monthly) is encouraged to do so! Points will be awarded for both doing a challenge and starting one. Points:1 point per page/project, any size, including cards and pocket scrapbooking Post your creation for us to ooh and aah over=1pt Posting a challenge=1pt each challenge is worth 1 pt, unless otherwise stated And keep an eye out for bonus points here and there! You can combine challenges to get more points per page. For example, say I do a 1-pg LO (1pt) and I combine the stash challenge (1pt) with the sketch/scraplift challenge (1pt), and then post it in the gallery or thread (1pt), that will earn me 4 points. Any questions, please ask away! Here's to a great month!

KelleeM your anniversary page is so pretty, love all the florals! The exploding heart page is just fabulous. I especially love the title on the sweet photo and all the fun patterns! gmcwife1 gorgeous card! Love the combo of the wet and dry embossing! cristelina I love your fun with B page; the photos are stinking adorable, love the double matting on them. The floral paper is totally gorgeous and I love that you paired it with the stripe and fun circle paper, and the sequins are a perfect touch! I really love the wonky circles on the favorite page, and the embellishing! The family page is lovely, such a fun color scheme! I love the watercolor background and fun metallic dot paper! The wedding page is so pretty with the gridlike design and all the fun clusters! scrapnnana WTG finishing all the card challenges! (very happy you’re on my team lol) your cards are all so different in style, colors, design, everything and they’re all beautiful! everyone else should have love in the gallery so sad this month is coming to an end, but i'm excited for next month! thanks so much to all you card-makers for joining in. i don't make cards but i definitely enjoy looking at them, so thank you for sharing with us

Quirks are definitely a different story than peeves. Not annoying. Just amusing. I love Nicole Jones and her quirks. I should say her accent and pronunciation. She cracks me up when she says adhesive and the word little but pronounced lil every few seconds. I enjoy her long videos. She's one of my favorites. When Susanna Lee pronounces Shimelle Shimeel I kind of do a head tilt. Someone please tell me it's like Michelle but the M and Sh are switched around because when I hear Susanna say Shimeel it reminds me of Laverne and Shirley singing Schlemiel Schlimazel!your pronunciation is correct, hers is not. and it reminds me of laverne and shirley too! hasenpfeffer incorporated!

i love her classes (which i honestly take for the videos; i rarely make anything from a class) but this holds no real interest for me. i don't do "albums" so i'm sure i would enjoy watching her scrap, and i might even find her process interesting, but it's not something i'd learn from and definitely not something i'd pay for.

Question: I know the points are honor system, but does it matter how much detail you put in? I see that some people listed challenges (and I did that the first month I participated). Can I just say, card 1 = XX points? I made a million (or 20) cards this weekend for a friend and plan to use the handy spreadsheet to calculate points, but if I have to list all the challenges, I am going to spend more time posting points than I did making these (very simple) cards. it does say somewhere to list the challenges but not everyone does, so use your best judgement i understand it can be very time-consuming!

i have photos of my great grandparents, so those are probably the oldest. i think the oldest i've actually scrapped would be one of my grandmother when she was probably 8 or 10. she was born in 1909.
that's so cool you have all those old treasures!!

It was on Peachy Cheap a few days ago. It's not even in the online stores to purchase yet. But the owner of Peachy Cheap and SB Daily Deals is related to someone in the industry (I can't remember exactly who, but I remember that she's the sister of someone who helped market the site when it started. I don't think it's anything worrying - just a good deal on a new designer's product. she's the sister of christy tomlinson, i believe. from the planner society, formerly from scarlet lime kits.

i didn't notice the dirty bit either, but if it's all you yourself can see, then get rid of it. i'd keep it in color but crop in a bit to lose the dirt. i think you're going to lose the bunny if you go b&w because he's so similar to the color of your brother's hands.
very sweet photo!!
