... I took a trip to Puerto Rico last year, haven’t scrapped it yet so I’ll definitely be getting that pack. Perfect timing!

I've never purchased Reminisce papers, so I have no firsthand knowledge about them. Based on posts here, it is listed on the Papers with a glossy finish? thread; however, at least one poster has subsequently commented that some papers are matte. Unfortunately, since finish is not included in product descriptions, consumers have no way of knowing which papers/collections are not glossy. The one piece of Reminisce paper I own (from the Winter collection) is not glossy but from reading reviews, it might depend on the collection. If it varies by collection, I would prefer either the company specify its paper finish in the collection description OR create a new brand to separate the different paper finishes. For example, Photoplay offers matte papers, & its other brand, Colorplay, is produced in-house using glossy papers. Similarly, Echo Park offers smooth, matte, 65 lb papers, while papers from its other brand, Carta Bella, are 80 lb with a matte finish & linen texture.

These papers remind me of a company that left the business awhile back. I forget their name. I never bought their stuff then and am not buying this line. 49th and Market have definitely changed. I'm curious which defunct manufacturer you're referencing... Heartfelt Creations. Couldn’t remember the name when I wrote my post. I'm also unfamiliar with Heartfelt Creations. Per its website, its "doors are CLOSING on November 30th, 2024."

Since you haven't used it & likely won't in the future, I suggest donating the machine & cartridges. You would encourage creativity for a grandchild(ren), fellow papercrafter, LSS, or organization (e.g. elementary school, middle or high school art department, community art center with an after-school art program, children's ministry at a church) while simultaneously freeing storage spacing in your craft room for either better organization of existing supplies or new supplies that you'll actually use to create your projects!

Thanks for your responses. While I appreciate the non-themed/classic patterns in both collections, only the map paper (on the reverse of Friends Forever from the baby line) & diagonal stripe (on the reverse of 6x4 Cards in the house line) are added to my wish list.

What? My favorites are geometric patterns, such as plaids, grids, stripes, dots, etc. Which patterns do you prefer? Pretty much every other pattern - I love dots & stripes! Ha! Circles, clouds, sunbursts, flowers, wavy lines, hearts, ledger, newsprint, etc. I would probably use a lightly printed grid as a background or for journaling. I think it has to do with right angles - the pictures and the base page are square so I struggle to incorporate those patterns onto my pages. I went through my gallery here - I used gingham once as a background and a small piece of grid paper to anchor a page title. Everything else is a free for all. ha!! Your layouts are beautiful with or without "square" patterns!

... That being said, this is what irritates me about scrapbooking companies-they come up with something new that sells, and they just do it OVER and OVER and OVER! ... Same; the industry is certainly repetitive/predictable/"copycat!"

Personally, I'd rather purchase a diecut pack than a sticker sheet due to its lack of both white outlines/borders & adhesive. For stickers &/or diecuts, I prefer non-themed elements that are NOT adorned by flowers or (trite) sentiments, including: Labels Tabs Tags Borders Asterisks Sparkles Stars Arrows Hearts ...etc. IMHO the closest is Bella Blvd - Doohickey Cardstock Stickers (e.g. My Life 365 - Doohickey), which feature versatile elements in the collection's color scheme (e.g. borders, tabs, photo corners, hearts, stars, geotags, numbers, letters, & words/phrases) & fewer specific themed items than most manufacturers' sticker sheets. ETA: ... and would love more: of those blank circles stickers with the double lined circle inside the circle (I don't know how to explain it...) circa October Afternoon ... I also welcome more round labels (as seen in orange in the upper left corner & green in the middle of the second row from the bottom HERE).

... Can you still buy PL page protectors and kits? ... While no longer manufactured, select PL products may still be in stock at retailers/resale sites/etc., such as ShopBeckyHiggins.com. Note pocket cards are also available in most scrapbook collections (i.e. as cut-aparts), in the SB.com Simple Scrapbooks Collection, at kit clubs (e.g. Elle's Studio, Hip Kits), &/or you can make your own cards with 6x6 paper pads (that have smaller scale patterns). ... I also really liked the We R Memory Keeper 12x12 albums, do they still make those? If so, where do you buy them? ... We R Memory Keepers, which changed its name to We R Makers last year, was acquired by American Crafts 10 years ago. You can purchase the 12x12 WRM albums in various colors directly from American Crafts ( HERE). Album alternatives include SB.com, Doodlebug, etc. HTH.

... A couple of the stencils also look really useful. I agree the stencils in this release are versatile patterns that could work for any subject. Luckily, I already have a non-wonky version (i.e. perfectly round dots, symmetrical astericks) from past Echo Park or Carta Bella collections.

I like the colours of the plaid album ... ... I will also add that the album is super cute in plaid ... I also like the plaid! Note the Pooh Bear Plaid 6x8 Album is a larger scale of the reverse side of 4x4 Journaling Cards from the (first) EP Winnie the Pooh collection (& similar to the Peek A Boo Plaid, which replaces the red stripe with orange, in the March release EP Winnie the Pooh Baby collection).

... The non-Pooh sides of the paper is great though. ... Some fo the plainer tone on tone b sides are lovely colours ... ... there have been some good b-sides in the previous collections and I see some in these releases that I also really like ... I also appreciate the versatile/usable/basic patterns.

So, do most here make mini albums for special events, to give away as gifts, or mostly as just a fun exercise in creativity? Also, do you have a favorite basic mini album to decorate, do you make your own, or do you prefer the type shown at the start of this thread? Sorry that I'm of no help, since I exclusively use 12x12 albums (containing a variety of sizes/configurations of page protectors) & have never created or purchased a mini album.

... I do NOT like to use licenced images like this or Mickey Mouse etc Note characters from Winnie the Pooh by AA Milne & illustrated by EH Shepard have been in the public domain since 1/1/2022, following the copyright expiration at the end of 2021. (Likewise, the original Mickey Mouse, Minnie, & other characters from Disney's Steamboat Willie & Plane Crazy that were illustrated by Ub Iwerks entered the public domain on 1/1/2024 after the copyright expired at the end of 2023.)

Consistent with my style, I buy few sticker sheets & can easily/quickly peruse them. If only a few usable (to me) stickers remain on a sheet, I may cut them out (& add them to ephemera/chipboard from the same manufacturer) & toss the partial sheet in the designated donation bin in my craft room.
