... and maybe the Germany paper (although it seems very cliche) Unfortunately, IMHO this accurately describes all of the country/A-sides of the pattern papers in the Epic collection.

I really liked the Wild collection. It almost made we want to plan a trip to the zoo even though we aren't the biggest fans of the zoo. ha!! .. This SS Say Cheese - Wild collection seems to coordinate with SS - Into the Wild (released in 2022 with the Say Cheese - At The Park series).

I liked a few things. Especially the foam words. ... Given these are cardstock on foam, is there a trick to removing the sticker without creasing the cardstock? ... Honestly, there are so many new products(not just simple stories) and collections to view, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and like I can't keep up on it all. I stopped looking and will look more in a few days. I can relate & choose to quickly survey the release before purusing the collections more closely in small doses over a couple days. For me, the overwhelming (& frustrating) part is seeing the same typical vintage &/or feminine/floral collections repeatedly, especially since nothing or only a couple pattern papers or a stencil ever gets added to my wish list.

The patches bits and pieces are just plain weird. Why would I put a 50% off planners "patch" on my scrapbook page? Scrapbook supply costs (discounted or full price) are not something I chose to document. See the second image here showing the entire contents of the pack; there's not one patch that I would consider.

I like the colors of Father's Day, but why do all Father's Day collection have ties? It seems like this is among the unwritten industry standards similar to all school & baking themed collections must be vintage, NYE & graduation black/white/gold, etc.

... How do we feel about SS including images of their packaged products in lines though? Like three of the 4x4 squares on this sheet of paper and the mini brad pack on the brad pack. I know Doodlebug have also done it, but I'm not sure when I'd ever use images of their packaged products in my scrapping. I hope this is not a trend that continues. It doesn't appeal to me & not something I would ever use (especially since I rarely purchase heavily themed ephemera packs & never actual or adhesive brads!).

Is ACOT not showing both sides of the paper or is that what SS provided? I hate not being able to see both sides of the paper and not seeing what is inside the ephemera packs. ... Same! While the SS website has not yet uploaded the upcoming releases, I just looked at the Coming Soon section at SB.com which is showing both sides of the individual papers & ephemera contents. I updated the links in the OP. ETA: Quickly glanced at scrapbook.com and they show both sides of the papers and what's in the ephemera packs. ACOT is getting sloppy. Great minds!

... I like the addition of black to the crafty line, but why the pastel/washed out colors otherwise? It seems like all the crafting lines are pastel-ish. ... ... & feminine/floral (including the brighter colored CB Happy Crafting by Steven Duncan)!

... I thought you could qualify with free shipping and the preorder discount at ACOT ... I don't preorder, so have no firsthand experience. According to the ACOT promo codes descriptions, the preorder & free shipping codes "MAY NOT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER PROMO CODES." It appears you may only use one code - either preorder or free shipping - not both on a the same order. HTH.

She's adorable! IMHO the colors of Doodlebug - Snow Much Fun is ideal for this photo. I suggest its diagonal stripe ( Cold Streak) as a base/frame beneath a white background (as mikklynn also suggested above) & simply embellished with labels, etc. created from stamps/dies/punches. HTH.

Thanks for your responses. Overall, these releases seem either vintage/dingy/pre-distressed or feminine/floral with fruits or insects. Only the bold plaid paper & arrow stencil from Into the Wild were added to my wish list.

Thanks for your responses. While the theme is scarce since Covid, this collection seems a missed opportunity for universal appeal due to the smiley faces. Plus, the colors are a generic spring palette. Nothing is added to my wish list.

I fell out of the freezer and into ordering some of this. It's all so cute. I do think Stephanie the owner seems nice, wonder if anybody here has gone to She Loves Color, those conventions look fun. Glad you escaped the freezer burn! I've not read/seen anyone mention the SLC event recently.

I exclusively scrapbook & use pigment inks (for basic stamping, stenciling, inking edges, & heat embossing), currently VersaFine Clair for fast-drying, non-splotchy/crisp images/words, & saturated/intense color (that is still embossable minutes later) & VersaMark for tone-on-tone stamping & embossing. HTH.

... Just stop with the cream aged background. Give me white... Agree! IMHO the cream-based collections are especially challenging due to lack of color consistency. If only manufacturers would offer the matching cream solid paper or, preferably, cardstock (or share the Bazzill, My Colors, or whatever cardstock brand color equivalent) ...

... I wonder who still uses chipboard shapes as well Per past threads, the Mintay Chippies seem to be a popular product. I prefer flat layouts, so rarely use chipboard - only printed, never unfinished/plain.

ACOT still has something weird going on with the Sunny Days Ahead, on the 12x12 and 6x6 pad they show a patterned purple paper that they don't have on there as a single sheet. Good eye! Only 11 pattern papers are available by the sheet, so it appears 1 was omitted. Perhaps Matt at ACOT can address this issue. ETA: Night Owl - Per Matt at ACOT's post below, the missing paper is now available for pre-order.

Are Doodlebug dies connected/tabbed or snipped? You don't have to snip them apart. I don't like when I have to take a wire cutter and snip dies apart, I feel like if you pay that much for dies you shouldn't have to do that. Thanks for the information. I agree &, therefore, avoid connected/tabbed dies!

... I don't think the faces go with a medical theme. ... Agreed. Plus, it would seem a non-smiley collection would have wider appeal for documenting older children, teens, adults, Covid, etc. Hope your mom is on the mend.

I’m confused about Sunny Days Ahead because I own a collection called that, by EP, from years ago… that’s identical down to the cut apart but then the 4 by 6 pad is different patterns. Is it a mistake or a rerelease? 🫤 And how is it a preorder but also on sale? They are two different collections. Note the copyrights on the collection packs: 2024 on the new release ( here) & 2015 on the old line ( there). While neither collection is currently on sale or includes a 4x6 pad, each has a 6x6 paper pad with the same patterns as its corresponding 12x12 collection pack: new & old. As aj2hall mentioned, it appears ACOT erroneously linked the pre-order for the new release with the previous collection since they share the same name. Perhaps Matt at ACOT can confirm/correct. UPDATE: breetheflea - Per Matt at ACOT 's post below, these two different EP collections with the same name are no longer comingled, & only the new release is available for pre-order.

Happy as can bee is almost like last years release. This years: Just changed the colors some lol How original. 🤦♀️ I just feel like their stuff is the same every year, every line, every season. EP/CB is certainly formulaic/repetitive/predictable.

... Roll With it - I really want a more modern baking/cooking line - I just can't scrap myself baking with images that remind me of my Grandma I agree. The vintage cooking stuff is just not my jam. ... like other have mentioned, sadly I desire a modern baking/cooking line (baking especially) and this one is just too antique/vintage for me. ... ... Roll With it. I'm with a lot of you-PLEASE make something more modern! ... Like the school theme, it's baffling that annual baking/cooking collections are vintage & distressed with old-fashioned imagery/sentiments & never updated!

Well I pre-ordered the stamp set. I figured I could use it for ds's page about Covid and his tib-fib fracture but use it on get well cards and any future needs. It's a win win and I can color it how I want it. Not sure if I will get the matching dies. IMHO the stamps are the most versatile, given smiley faces are optional! If you anticipate frequent use on layouts &/or cards, the coordinating dies (with a get well sentiment & speech bubble) would be handy. HTH ETA: Are Doodlebug dies connected/tabbed or snipped?

I really dislike the smiles Doodlebug put on everything. I thought the worst was on food (pizza, burgers, soda) - but it seems it's even worse on a collection about pain. Obviously it's not intended for serious injuries, but it still feels strange to me. Same
