Is it possible you hit a button to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay or something? I wonder if it is the Shop app. Somehow I accidentally clicked on that once, and everything was switched to that, and it was WAY to easy to accidentally buy something. I finally figured out how to detach myself from Shop!

Our friends were appalled and passed on dessert, so we did too…… until they left! Then I simply cut off the part our dog got to and carried on. More for us! 😬 I had bought some sub sandwichs from Quizno's years ago (when they were SO good). That was a real treat, as we didn't eat out much. I had gotten them for just DH and I at lunch, the kids were in school. I unloaded all my groceries and came out to find a damn farm cat eating MY SANDWICH! I was devastated. I cut the 'cat' end off and gave it to my husband. LOL In all fairness - I did tell him, he wasn't fazed. I love the Pea's!

I wish I could come buy the skulls from you! I need ethically sourced bones. I paint and decorate them and sell them. Shipping is not cheap and there aren't a lot of cow skulls near me. We don't have very many big size ones in there, thankfully. If they are, they most likely have bullet hole or two through the skull, from euthanizing them. They do get broken when the compost pile gets turned. Ours also do not have horns, as we only raise polled cattle or dehorn at a young age if they start to get horns.

The company that trims and cuts down trees for the power company drops us wood chips every year.
We use them as a compost pile for our livestock that dies. Works really great, but gets a little stinky if there is a big one in there. Amazing how it completely cooks those down to just white bone so fast.
It's a really BIG pile.

This is a potting soil I started using last year. Amazing! It is compacted and very dry, so it is LIGHT to pick up and it has handles. I toss it in my big wheelbarrow and add the above products, wet it down well and use that to pot up plants. It's just so much easier than carrying big heavy bags of potting soil. I get it at Walmart, and if you order curbside pickup - they bring it out and load it in your rig - what could be better! With moisture crystals added: Without:

I used potting soil to fill the pot and I kind of wish I wouldn’t have because that soil is so light and doesn’t hold water very well at all. Every time I water that plant all the water goes straight through and into the tray at the bottom, and I think it died anyway. When potting soil dries completely out, it is hard to get it rehydrated. It is best to water from the 'bottom up' - if your saucer under your plant is big enough, fill it with water and let it soak up. You may need to add more water to completely get it rehydrated. You can also add water storing crystals to keep your plants hydrated, but you need to have a regular watering/feeding schedule to keep a plant alive and thriving. Letting it get as dry as a popcorn fart, then watering it does not bode well for the plant, I know from experience! LOL I try to pick a day of the week that I know I will be home and set it to my routine. I bought some potting soil last year that was for raised gardens and it had chunks of wood in it and was really dense. I'm sure that's why some of my plants died because it choked them out. Cheaper potting soils usually have a lot of filler in them that isn't great. I like Miracle Grow potting soil. It has the timed release fertilizer in it, which is GREAT STUFF! I reuse my outdoor potting soil, so I add the timed release to it every year. This is what I add for water retention. There are other brands that work great too. I know some use the water beads, but I am not so crazy about having those around with grandkids and pets. The water crystals are smaller and do not expand to large bead sizes. They are awesome to keep the pots hydrated though. I generally water my outdoor plants every day during the summer heat and twice a day if it is hot and windy - but these keep them moist in case I can't get to them: Use timed release fertilizer when potting plants, for indoor or outdoor. The difference between using this and not is astounding! I still do use some water soluable fertilizer about once a week in the summer for my flower outdoor plants, just to get that HUGE bloom going. It doesn't have to be this brand, but this is my go-to. These two things can really improve potting soil that you use over again or cheaper potting soils.

It's annoying when the cracker crumbles in your hand when I am spreading on the cheese (Laughing Cow). They have certainly changed over the years. I think the biggest change came when the whole transfat thing happened - a lot of stuff changed, and not for the better. But lately, I am never sure if it is me (I feel like I can't taste like I used to, probably Covid related), or it the product has changed. I loved Graham crackers, Honey Made specifically. Now,bleh. And that was pre-Covid. The size got much smaller and the taste/texture is not good. As far as crackers - I love the Ritz Chips toasted crackers and the Club Crisps toasted chip crackers. Wow! I like the Club the best. These have replaced potato chips in my life. Potato chips are another food item that I think now are aweful. But these Club Crisps are delicious!

I taught him to drive with a manual transmission. After the parking lot we went a section of town with small blocks and stop signs on every corner. Once we did that we were on the road. My kids were pretty familiar with standard shift, since they all drove the smaller tractors (and big ones!) on the farm. It is not much different than driving a car, other than you shift way more driving a car. They didn't drive the big trucks until they were a little older (some of those older trucks you had to know how to double clutch and split shift!) When it came time for my son to drive my standard shift car, I took him out for a spin to make sure he could shift it, since it had a really light clutch. Oh my lord! It is a core memory for us. He pulled out onto the road smooth as butter. I was so disappointed. But we got down the road a piece and had to stop at an intersection. He killed it. Killed it. Killed it. By that time I had the giggles. He had the giggles. Traffic was waiting for us. I said "you need to give it more gas buddy"... man ... we peeled out of that stop sign! LOL I am pretty sure he had the tires smoking. It was a little sporty car. Oh gosh - we laughed so hard we had tears. He had it mastered after that. Those who took it in school, did your practice car have the brake control on the passengers side where the instructor sat? I can remember that ours had this. Yes! I remember that extra brake. Our DE teacher was so much fun. We got to drive up north to do some interstate driving, and got to grab lunch at a Pizza Hut! For country kids, this was the epitome of COOL!

I had summer Driver's Ed the summer between 8th Grade and Freshman year. My kids all did the same.
Learners Permit at 14. All three of my kids went to the DMV on the day of their 14th birthday to get that permit! They would have been in 8th grade. That allowed them to drive with any licensed driver supervising in the car.
They took summer drivers ed and after fulfilling all the requirements could go take the test to get their school permit. School permit grants them the ability to drive the most direct route to school and back, no deviations. Now Iowa also has a farm permit, which would have been AWESOME for my kids. That allows them to do farm errands within 50 miles of the farm, and they must be working for that farm.
So they started driving to school/athletic practices before their Freshman year started. They were all good drivers, and had been driving well before 14, lol. The school permit allowed them to drive directly to school and back, and could not pick up passengers, but their siblings could ride as long as they got in the car here at home, and not picked up.
I took them to Des Moines when they had been driving for a while, to learn "city" driving. I tried to find a quiet time of the day, and DSM traffic isn't awful anyways. But I am glad we lived in a rural area!

I was going to suggest the really old, but free Microsoft Money, but I see you've gone to the dark side. LOL I love that old Money program. I do all my accounting with it. Works SO dang good and I am happy they still issue the software (but don't support it) It's called Sunset now - if that is an indicator of something old! I can download my monthly bank statement and load it right into Money. I just go in and add the Payee name and my expense/income classification. At the end of the year I print out my tax report. My accountant told me I do a really good job and it makes his job super easy!

I think every gun that is owned should require an insurance policy. Or an umbrella type policy to cover multiple guns. You have to pass the background check to purchase, and you have to have proof of insurance - just like owning a car. Will that stop all gun violence? No. It might help with restitution to victims, and it sure as hell might make it hard for some people to own a gun that shouldn't.
I am saying this as an owner of several firearms, not including my husbands or my kids (although I did purchase my kids' firearms as gifts for them).

I found a rug on Temu that I really like. I can’t decide if it’s a good idea or not. so, WWTPD? Read the description carefully. Look at the measurements. Make sure they are the measurements for what you are ordering. Look at ALL the pictures. Do a couple look really nice and then a not so nice one? That 'not so nice' is the one you will be getting. With wreaths, rugs, decor, etc - there is always the really nice picture, but then when you dig deeper (or look at reviews that have actual photo's posted) you will find the item you are ordering is a much lower quality. MUCH. But I do order from Temu. I just really look over the listing and know that what I am getting is a lower quality item. Don't use the app, which is known spyware. Just as Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, etc. is. My biggest observation about purchasing from Temu is the very slow shipping. Definitely not someplace to buy from if you are looking for instant gratification or need an item quickly. For example, the price savings on a Jinhao FP on Temu is only $2, but I can have it delivered free in two days as an Amazon prime member. Paying that $2 more to,get it quicker is worth it to me. Shipping is slow for me too... around 7 - 10 days. But my Amazon shipping (With Prime) is at least 5 to 7 days. Never two day. It used to be two day but not anymore. Some say it is due to where I live and the distance from Amazon centers, which is probably true, but there are Amazon centers within 2 hours of me in 3 directions. I can order from WalMart or Target and get 2 day shipping always and often next day. So Amazon isn't my go to site anymore.

I am wanting a french door fridge. My daughter has a Frigidaire and loves it. I really want white, and that is so hard to find. I hate stainless. Nothing in my kitchen is stainless.

I would say yes. I telehealth things like that. I figure my chances of picking something else up (illness) is greater by going in. Pink Eye is pretty easily diagnosed, especially since you have been exposed. I keep trying to talk my Vet into treating me for stuff like this. She says no. LOL When I need meds for our cattle - she just leaves it on her steps for me to go grab.

DH got really frustrated with me because I got no game when it comes to negotiating. My husband negotiates almost everywhere. I run and hide while he’s getting 10% off at Home Depot. My husband is the negotiator! Me - not so much. My kids - yes. They learned from the best. Oldest DD has bought 2 homes, and it quite savvy in those negotiations. My middle child bought her first new car on her own after college. The salesman told her dad he had never been impressed as much by someone that age. So polite, but firm in the deal. My son has the motto "if it's not free - it's not me" ... he got so many free shirts at conferences, etc. in High School and college. LOL He has negotiated higher salaries at his job too.

Things like makeup are not returnable for health reasons.
I didn't want to return it - they sent me hair dye instead of mascara. It was hard to get to a place to get a replacement. I think I have it solved now though!

I ordered a small item from Amazon. I ordered mascara, got a box of hair dye. I cannot get to a screen that allows me to ask for the mascara to be sent. I can get to where it says "wrong item" sent, but when I do that it brings me back to the original screen that says no returns are allowed. Ugh.
Is there anyway to get a hold of customer service anymore?
I had this problem once before on a small item and just gave up. I am not going to do that anymore.
Any suggestions?

Texas Hold 'Em is so fun. I have always loved Beyonce. My girls were pre-teens and loved to skate to Destiny's Child. I'd back out all the trucks from the shop and we'd sweep the floor good and the skates came out during the long winters when there wasn't anything fit to do outside! Every time I hear those songs it gives me happy memories!
Beyonce as performer is phenomenal. I am just not crazy about her versions of Joleen and BlackBird. I know I will get a lot of pushback on this - but her voice just isn't what is needed for those songs. Or maybe the originals are so engrained in my senses, that it just hits wrong because of that. I like Miley's version of Joleen, but Dolly's is always going to be the pinnacle. The meaning behind BlackBird and her performance will outweigh the lacking vocal on it, I am sure.

I’m sure there is more backstory, but it seems that she should get the house and then can just sell the house and land for a profit. Then buy another lot. That was my first thought. But if it is a very desirable piece of land, and you don't want it developed - this is a way around that for developers. Ooops - we built on the wrong land, but we will buy it from you. Then they get their foot into an area that you want to keep them out. Even if the developer is not buying it back - it could be a shill bidder or someone who would just resell it to a developer. I would make them tear down and restore the land. Although it is highly unlikely that something could ever 'accidentally' be built on our land, we have people really try to strong arm us into selling pieces they want to build on. We will never sell. We have pasture lands near the river that have never seen a plow. People want to buy it to build their house on. Nope. No way. Don't want them anywhere in our land.

I hate this new trend! I know they are doing it to drive up the interaction on their posts.
I also just go to their account, find the link for their LTK or Amazon store front to see the product.
But it frustrates me so much that I will not buy off that link. I will close out and go search it on Amazon and buy it without using their link - so they do not get any money from me. Petty Betty here. Most of the time, I don't mind using their link/store front so they get the income from it. But when they start making me do stupid things like typing SHOP for them to autosend me the link, I'm out.

I loved my Kuerigs ... but damn. They just didn't last anymore. But I still love the single cup feature, but sometimes I want a pot... I switched to the Ninja Dual Brew. I can not recommend this thing enough! I LOVE IT!I mostly do the K-Cup brews. I even use KCups to brew some small pitchers, because I love the McDonald's KCups.. LOL I also make a lot of iced tea. The Tazo black tea KCups make awesome iced tea. I brew a single Tazo black tea Kcup at 12 ounces into the glass carafe and then brew it again (same KCUp) at 12 ounce or 10 ounce. I then pour this over ice in my plastic pitcher that I keep in the fridge. It is a really good iced tea. Being able to brew it into a glass carafe makes it so simple to make. I use it for hot water a lot. You can either brew just hot water, or switch it to 'boil' for a REALLY hot water. I watch my grandkids sometimes, and that hot water works great to thaw and heat a packet of breast milk - so handy. I use the hot water feature on a box of dehydrated hash browns (those suckers are GOOD). Just brew 12 ounces of hot water (I use the 'boil' setting) into the box and let rehydrate and pop in a frying pan or put in soups. You can brew KCups, single cups with your own grounds or full carafe with your own grounds (and anywhere in between). I have had it for over 6 months, so it hasn't passed the "how many years' test yet...but after having (and loving) Kuerigs - this brewer is such a better quality. It has a large water tank. It is a slim line one. It comes mounted to the side, but you can switch it to mounted in the back if you want. It's very easy to grab - it has better ergonomics than the Keurig ones. It has a built in hand grip that makes it so much easier to grab and fill, although I often fill it on the machine with filtered water. It has a frother on the other side, but I never use that feature. It has a fairly slim profile on your countertop. The glass carafe is nice. I got mine on a good sale, and they have those several times a year. CFP301 Ninja Dual BrewHere is a very similar machine, but it came out after mine. Does about the same, has less custom brew sizes, but the price is much less. If I was buying today, I'd probably get this one. Model:CFP101 Ninja Dual BrewBoth machines have the 'thermal extraction' brew that the Keurig KSupreme styles have - it makes a MUCH better tasting KCup brew. They brew fast.

I remember my DH and I having a discussion about our DD watching I carly and Sam and Cat and all of those types of shows...he detested them and thought they were way too sexualized and just horrible for kids, hated how mouthy the kids talked...I wasn't as convinced they were as terrible as he thought but because he felt so strongly we didn't allow our DD to watch them and she was so upset at the time. She is 20 now and I can't wait for her to see this series. My kids were just a little too old to really get into those shows, but at the time I detested them. I focused mostly on how mouthy the kids were and how the parents or older adult authority people were made to look so dumb. I never clued in on the sexuality, and I never watched them much. I just hated the mouthyness of the kids. I raised my kids to speak up and to 'fend for themselves' a bit and that it was OK to question authority, but also to respect it. It wasn't OK to be a smartass, but it was ok to bring up things if it bothered them, and not to be afraid to do it. I haven't watched the show yet, but I have been reading and seeing a bit about it. Jeeezee... what goes on right under our noses! I didn't forbid much TV, but those shows were just awful. I was the mean mom who didn't allow much time on video games either. We had horses, Gators, and my kids could drive down to the river/creek to fish ... unsupervised.

Just made a fast trip out to Ft. Pierre SD last week to buy feeder calves. Drove to Ft. Pierre and back in a day...long day, whew! Started the day at 3:30 am - semi brought the calves the following morning at 1:30 am! Did it all in under 24 hours. I was pooped for 2 days afterwards.
That view driving west out of Chamberlain on I-90 is something I always anticipate! It was even beautiful this time of year! Dropping down out of Chamberlain, going across the Missouri on the bridge. It just gets me every time! So get ready for that view! It's a stunner!

There is footage from a ring camera outside where she can be heard crying. I saw that. Did no one hear? Or was crying so normal, that it didn't alarm anyone?
